This is one of the nicest places we have parked with our airstream. It has an excellent view of the lake. Jan was wonderful. The have full hook ups and propane is available for purchase. Excellent location.

I attempted to rent two spaces at this RV park, one for my fifth wheel and truck and one for my boat and truck, but their staffer, Barbara, rudely informed me that only RVs can be parked in RV spaces. I can accept their policy for space use, albeit somewhat puzzling, but what compelled me to write this review is the imperious manner in which Barbara informed me of this policy, like she was doing me a favor by talking to me. She was totally lacking in courtesy and is sorely in need of a refresher course in Customer Service. I found another park nearby that had no problem allowing me to rent a space for my boat, so Lake Mead RV Village is forever off my list of RV parks to use.

This place is nice, quiet, and overlooks Lake Mead. The grounds are clean and all the hookups for our camper worked very well. We even asked for maintenance to come remove a cap for our sewage because it was too tightly screwed on — they arrived within 5 minutes of us asking! Very helpful and nice staff here. My fiancé and I were only here for two days(one night), but it was great, just a bit hot(well it is the desert). It’s easy to get down to the Lake from the campsite, but you do have to go back up to the main road. There’s no direct road from the campgrounds to the lake. Not a problem if you’re pulling your camper with a truck though. There is a place to take a shower IF you’re staying in the place where you put campers. You just get a key from the office. Only complaint is some of the spots do not have fire pits and we did not discover this until we go to our spot and of course, no fire pit! Luckily they DO have a «community» area with a fire pit/grill. So my fiancé and I just hauled our food/firewood over there when we wanted to eat/make s’mores. A bit of an inconvenience, but nothing I can’t forgive. Overall — loved the experience! Such a cheap, fun thing to do for a weekend!

The view is spectacular. The camp hosts are very nice. This is a definate keeper in our camping book. We did have to break out the shower tent since there aren’t showers available in the campground. Not a big deal since it was very warm out.

Beautiful! I loved the different views of this place. There is a 10 mile drive and with every so mile or 2, you get to stop and see a different scenery of Lake Mead. There is also a fish hatchery that i didnt get to experience because it was close on the day that i went. People can bike, camp, boat, RV, swim, eat at the picnic area, and lots more. I would definitely come back here and do recommend this place for people who like to see nature.
