I was referred by a satisfied customer, although I am not.
Had 2 amalgams taken out and composite put in (per their advice). After the treatment I experienced pressure sensitivity enough to where I could not chew on one side of my mouth.
I made a follow-​up appointment about 2 weeks later to see what could be done, and was told «you could just be over sensitive, some people are sensitive for a day, week, month or even a year». Really, then he put some funky fluoride paste on the teeth in question, and said, «come back if it’s still bothering you».
He would NOT believe that it was a problem with his work. I’ve had this happen before, and knew it wasn’t just sensitivity.
Needless to say, I went «out of network» and paid my old dentist over $ 300 to fix both teeth. But what choice did I have? I don’t believe the Dr. would’ve ever believed me.
The one positive thing was on my initial visit, the hygienist was really nice.
My teeth are great after almost 2 months of this silliness. Guess what? After the numbness wore off, they were perfectly fine.
Helps when you go to someone who knows what they’re doing!
Please, avoid the headache, go to someone else. I’m never going back there.
I’ll refer you to a great one (too bad he’s not on my insurance plan anymore).
