Flightlinez Bootleg Canyon delivers a world-​class zip line experience! Located in the majestic canyons of the Southern Nevada Desert, the 2.5 hour tour takes guests on an adventure filled with: breath-​taking views, wildlife sightings, information on local geology and history, and the pure exhilaration of flight.

Flightlinez utilizes a unique cable system and trolley hardware that offers our guests a ride with speeds up to 60 mph, while maintaining the safest standards in the zip line industry. The well-​conditioned, highly-​trained, and always-​vigilant, guides ensure optimum safety while promoting a comfortable and fun environment for guests to enjoy.

Flightlinez operates early morning until sunset 365 days a year (with weather being the only reason for possible cancellations). Drive yourself to the location in Boulder City, NV, or take advantage of the free shuttle service if you’re staying in Las Vegas.

History

Established in 2008.

Located in the historic town of Boulder City, Flightlinez Bootleg Canyon was installed to assist in the preservation of Bootleg Canyon Park. The goal of the project was to develop a unique zip line attraction that would offer visitors an experience of a lifetime and in turn, generate enough revenue to keep the park in tip top condition, and help preserve the beauty of the surrounding Mojave Desert. In August of 2008 the Flightlinez opened to the public. Thousands of visitors experience the rush every year, and can’t stop talking about it. Come and see what all the buzz is about.

After experiencing the Flightlinez as a guest in Feb 2009 I knew immediately I wanted to work for the company. Ziplining down a mountain all day while enjoying view of Las Vegas, Boulder City and Lake Meade seemed like the best way to enjoy work.

I’ve been with Flightlinez since April 2009. I’ve enjoyed all aspects of the business from driving, working in the office, guiding tours, being the photographer, handing marketing, sales and operations.

Came here with family for our first zip line experience and we had a so much fun! The staff is extremely professional, safe, and fun. They begin by going over safety and basics in a small room at the facility before you head out to bootleg canyon. When you get up to the zip line they walk you through all of the procedures again. We went during the day, but I would definitely go back for their moonlight zips.

I went last weekend with a group of friends and this is as much fun as I have ever had. The zip lining was phenomenal. The teammates that work there make this truly happen. Excellent team of people. Very fast runs over beautiful multicolor terrain. Best fun off the strip. Brandon Kenna and Grasso were fantastic making sure you were harnessed in for a flying good time.

This was awesome! So much fun and a great break from the go-​go-​go in Las Vegas. I won’t bother describing the experience because it is exactly how they describe it on their website. The guides were great. Very helpful and aware of the needs of the group. Beware, the 15 minute hike after the bus ride is no joke. Some people in the group had trouble but they’ll take as many breaks as needed. Highly recommended!

I’ve been ziplining multiple times before, but Flightlinez Bootleg Canyon was by far the best. The best lines and the guys were super entertaining. You can tell they love their jobs which made the entire family trip a great time! Highly recommend this trip to the desert and I’ll definitely come back in the future! Thanks guys for carrying my equipment up the hill, super sweet of you (but for the record I could have carried it)

I greatly enjoyed the zipline experience. However, the «instructors» were completely obnoxious and not at all funny. The bus ride up to the take off point was filled with fake facts, followed by a fake correction of the fact, followed by the real semi-​interesting fact, all in an attempt of humor. As well as pre-​adolescent gay innuendo between the instructors and lame pop-​culture references (some dating back to 2005, with Brokeback Mountain). It was impossible to take these kids seriously. Our tour included a family whose first language was not English, a mother and her teenage son, my queer self, and my friend. I think we all felt pressure to sympathy laugh. And we definitely felt pressure to tip, something that was mentioned over and over again.
I’d tell these bros to leave their bro-​ing at home, and be more professional and likable in the future.

Just lay back and enjoy the ride, literally!
Located in Bouder City of course, it takes at least 40 minutes from North Las Vegas to get here. The town is very quiet, yet there are some hole in the walls you will want to check out. ((coughcough) Boulder PIT Stop).
The processing was very simple. The crew fits you to the right size equipment and gives instructions on how to slow down or stop safely. Oh and make sure you have a comfy seat, because it’s gonna be a bumpy ride!
When the shuttle stops, this is when you know that it’s hiking time! On the way up the quarter mile stretch, you can view (on a clear day) the wonderful city of sinners.
Out of the 4 zip lines, the first one is the second longest out of the group where you get a nice view of the surrounding mountains. The second would be the third longest with a view of Boulder City. Third being the longest, this is where you can achieve the fastest speed by lying as flat possible! It was a windy day for us so all of the crew members had to shimmy out and rescue us (this is where you really find out if you’re afraid of heights). The fourth zip line is only a short one which drops elevation for everyone to get back on the shuttle.
I was viewing the footage my Countour ROAM camera caught and still doesn’t do justice to what the views look like. Definitely a fun time and I recommend all the thrill seekers, but I enjoy nice views so if I were to zip line again, it wouldn’t be in the desert Lol.
PS: Since the elevation is high, be advised of the weather since it can play a big role on whether or not you will enjoy the activity.

What a great thing to do when in and around Vegas! Take the half hour drive out from Sin City, you won’t be sorry!
The guides are all super funny, you get to check out beauty views from the peaks (Lake Mead, a bit of Hoover Dam, Boulder City itself and the awesome canyons), you get to take in fresh air and get some good exercise. The exercise consists of hiking about 15 min up a steep mountain to get to the top. And carrying heavy gear — it is not mandatory to if you are not comfortable about it but it helps to staff get everything they need to the runs.
While the guides are humorous and love to tease their clients, safety really does come first. If you are nervous, you will get reassurance when it counts.
Funny thing — it was my hubby’s first time ever doing this and earned himself the nickname ‘Miley Cyrus’ for pulling on the brake too low at the end of a run and coming in like a wrecking ball! Lol! We have the video to prove it!
The 4 zip lines were fun. Of course much more time consuming if you have a large group and also if other people show up late but it happens and the staff was super understanding of it too.
Would recommend this activity.
In winter months, wear more layers than you think you need or a warm coat — it gets very chilly up there. Also, bring sunglasses. And gloves.
I liked that the office had a washroom that we could use, as well as lockers for any valuables you lock and hold the key to. When you return, you will be given a comment card which doubles as an envelope for gratuities.

This was an amazing experience! I recommend it to anyone looking for a thrill and a fun time! The guides we had were hilarious! I’m afraid of heights and they made me feel so comfortable! I would absolutely do this again if I’m ever in Vegas!

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!
This was a surprise trip to vegas from my wife for my birthday and she told me she booked us in for Ziplining. We were booked with 2 of our friends from Oklahoma and none of us knew what were in for… Our first booking was cancelled due to bad winds but these guys were nice enough to come in on thanksgiving so we didn’t miss out GREAT JOB!!!
I was a little hesitant at first but once they release you on the first Zip-​line you can’t get enough, 4 lines was nowhere near enough. The staff were FABULOUS to say the least, Nick was on our bus ride up and was great entertainment for the whole drive, they all made you feel relaxed before we took the ride of our lives…
We are already planning our next trip back to the USA and ZIP LINING is first on or list cannot recommend this place enough if you like the fresh air and great outdoor, a bit of hiking and thrill rides this is for you…
Thanks again NICK, JASON, STEVE, SHAGGY, GARY AND ALL THE OTHER guys for making our zip lining experience FANTASTIC we will be back in the near future.
THERE IS A MINIMUM WEIGHT OF 75LBS MAXIMUM OF 250LBS so children can do it as long as they’re are not terrified of heights can brake themselves and weigh more than 75lbs

When I think of Vegas, I think happily of the awesome adventure of this incredible zip line, the amazing feeling of freedom and just being alive that it gives me, and the absolute faith I have in the safety of this and only this organization to keep me safe on a zip line.
It is clear that the staff loves what they do, which is not only attributed to their character but to the support they receive from management to do their job in a not just a fun way but a safe one, empowering the «guys» in the field to make important decisions when faced with potentially unsafe «flight conditions» such as seriously high winds.
We will be back. Tomorrow, in fact.
And thanks for making me feel like a kid again.

Oh boy where do I begin. From the phone call to booking the appt to our final destination back to the office. The whole experience was great.
Although I had a few small minor things like wishing there was more opening time like 11am or 12pm would have been great due to having children who wake up early and need to eat and get settled and my husband working late afternoons it was kinda hard to get a booking time that fit but we ended up on the 10am tour only because I was able to get 4 people to go.
You need 4 or more people to book a slot time they had available for tour. So weather it’s you alone and 3 other people or 4 in your own group. And the only other thing was they forgot to show us our pictures when we got back to the office. But I’m assuming they prob don’t sell much so they prob just said heh…
But other than that the entire trip was all worth it. Very fun we had Keegan and Blake and they were very informative tour guides with a kick of humor to keep the tour from being a bore.
They will take as many pictures from your own camera/​phone as you like. Although u can’t use it while flying but we took turns taking pictures of each other once we landed at each deck. It was also a bit of a hike up the hill to the first line so be sure to have your ass and legs ready for a little burn.
Would recommend to do it more than once very fun.

Today was my first time on a zip line. As we made our climb I was nervous but wow, what an experience! Our guides were Keegan, Brady, and Blake. They were very entertaining on the bus up to the trail. They were really great with everyone and you could tell they really cared about our safety. I had such a blast. It is worth doing for sure. You walk up to the first zip line, which is a bit of a hike. Then you take 4 zip lines down to the bottom. It was great! I hope to be back soon!

So much fun! If you’re an outdoorsy person & in Vegas, you must go to Bootleg Canyon. 4 ziplines down the canyon, each one a different view, length & elevation.
The staff was very helpful & made sure everyone had enough water to drink in the hot Vegas weather. Our tour guides were Blake & Keegan. If possible, request them. they were so much fun & had jokes for days.
If you’re a local, you get a free Go Pro rental to use during the ziplines. If you’re not a local, check Leisure Guide online, they give a good discount for the tour.

We had a BLAST! Our guides Jason and Blake were fun, entertaining and excited to be there! We were a little afraid at the very first zipline, but that was gone almost immediately. We want to come back for the dusk zip line.
Definitely try it and bring your guests, it has great views of Vegas!

What an experience and rush all at once. Was a bit of a hike getting up to the first zip line. Carrying the trolleys up a half mile hike can wear on you and burn your legs getting up if you’re out of shape (hence yes I was out of shape). However, the end result is worth the pain because you get to feel a rush of freedom and flying while zipping down the mountain and overlooking Boulder city.
On the third zip line I dropped my iPhone and it got damaged pretty bad. One of the guides, Keegan went down and retrieved it for me. Totally went above and beyond the call of duty. Especially with how steep the hill was. Keegan, Clinton and Andrew were all great guides with a nice sense of humor. If you’re a local and haven’t done this please make some time to go and you won’t regret this experience. Would highly recommend for anyone’s bucket list!

Flightlinez Bootleg Canyon was definitely the best part of my most recent trip to Vegas. I travelled to Vegas from LA for business and had free time Saturday morning. Being from LA I’ve hit a lot of different parts of the strip and wanted to try something new. So glad I chose ziplining here!
The receptionist was super helpful with answering all my questions and making room for me on their next tour out. It was about a half hour drive from the Strip and there was virtually no traffic heading out that way on a Saturday morning. There’s plenty of parking in the plaza and their office has an easy layout which made checking in very streamline and efficient.
The tour guides fitted the tour group for harnesses and helmets and then proceeded with an in-​depth explanation of what to do and how to do it. They were very knowledgeable and have a great sense of humor when it comes to traveling 50 mph down a mountain.
Before boarding the bus I suggest lathering up in as much sunblock as you can (they also provide some in the office). I burnt using only one application so maybe pack some with you. There is a bit of a hike after riding a very bumpy bus up the canyon. The guides will take breaks; provide you with water, and photo opportunities; all of which let you catch your breath.
The four zip lines had incredible views and really let the wind run through your hair. Make sure to wear sunglasses or you will miss the sights. I had mine on and my eyes were still watering from the speed. Safety and fun were the utmost importance to the crew. I would love to come back for their night zip lining tour!
Later that night I was on Fremont St. and saw their set up. I’m so glad I travelled out of the way for Bootleg Canyon. I won’t knock it since I haven’t tried it, but the standing position of it looks a lot more tiring and it appears a lot slower than Flightlinez. Soaring over drunks might be cool too though J

It was my first time ever going zip lining and this place definitely set the bar pretty high. I took my boyfriend for our anniversary and he loved it.
The workers are really funny and helpful. So make sure to tip them at the end. There’s a small hike you have to do before getting up to the first line but it’s cake and if you’re a weakling and can’t carry your things while hiking, the workers are more than happy to help.
I heard they have one at night time or when the sun is setting which I think would be a lot more fun.

Zipping right along!
It was mid summer so we chose an early time to start our adventure. After meeting up at their building and signing the disclosure forms, you are ready to go!
You take a small bus up the mountain at which point there is a small hike to the first platform. Honestly the bus ride was about the scariest part for me — yes he was a crazy driver around the curves. You carry your ‘trolley’ on the hikes. It’s almost 20 lbs and awkward. The guys will carry them for you if you can’t handle it (like me).
There is a total of 4 lines to bring you back down the mountain. The first line gets you going about 50 – 60 mph! So fun!
The harnesses provided have a small pocket on the back for phones or valuables you don’t want to lose. GoPros are available or you can bring your own!
They now are offering sunset and night zip lines so I would love to try that! A beautiful view and good times made this a memorable experience!
