Viva La Lash

I REALLY wanted to like this place but unfortunately I won’t be going back.
The location: Easy to find, easy parking and cute little boutique. I had high expectations when I walked in!
I sat in the waiting room for a few minutes and when the owner came back it was the most awkward greeting ever. Not very friendly and very informal. We walked back to the room and she asked me to lay on the bed. No questions were asked about what kind of look I wanted, how long I wanted to the lashes etc. Every time I have ever gone in for extensions I have always had a 3 – 5 minute consultation and the employees always made sure to discuss the right look for me. I went ahead and just followed along. (My mistake).
When I was finished, the lashes were incredibly long (I had asked by myself to look more natural) and they did not taper down as you got closer to the increase of my eye. I thought I looked way to glam for what I had asked and it did not follow the shape of my eye at all.
As for the aftermath…
All my friends and family knew I had extensions the minute they saw me. When I have had them in the past people would notice something special about the eyes but never knew I had lashed until I told them. These just looked way to fake for my shape of eye.
At all establishments I have been to before, the lashes ALWAYS lasted 3 – 4 weeks on my eyes. It has been ¹⁄₅ weeks and every single lash has fallen off of my right eye and I only have half left on my left eye. Not to mention that when I have been looking at the ones that fall out… they have 2 – 3 of my real lashes attached to them. Every lash specialist I have ever been to says that should never happen.
Finally when I got home my eye was really irritated in the corner. I got close to the mirror and realized some of my bottom lashes were glued up into the extension on the top. The only solution was to pluck my bottom lash. PAINFUL!
All in all, I am sad this place wasn’t what I expected but I am now going to a different place tomorrow to get the few that remain removed and receiving a whole new full set…1.5 weeks later…
Could have been an off day, but I wasn’t impressed. :-/

Purchased a Groupon for full and fill lash set. Was not impressed with the establishment. Not sanitary, and unprofessional. The fills are affordable, however, lashes fall out fast within 1.5 weeks. Well worth paying $ 10 more to go somewhere credible with a good reputation. The lashes will last mucH longer. Would NOT recommend this place!

Heather is AWESOME!!! She is so nice and does a great and professional job. I went in for the first time three months ago with the groupon and I’m so happy I did. I constantly get compliments on my eyelashes and they stay on with minimal shedding each time. Her prices are great compared to many and I plan on going to her for my eyelashes for a long time to come.

Heather is great! Found this place using a «Groupon», and love it! She’s affordable, and my lashes got compliments for the entire month before I went in for another fill!

I absolutely love my eyelash extensions done by Heather. I was a bit leery of trying them, as I’ve seen how scary fake they can look, but my irritation with mascara overcame my reservations. We talked about what I wanted (realistic looking, not super fake), and she delivered. I’ve had compliments on my lashes, which has never happened before… I love, love, love them! Heather is the best!
