History

Established in 2015.

Chef Gourlie spent four and a half years in the United States Marine Corps and deployed to combat once and deployed to the Pacific Rim to assist in training missions. He was medically retired from the USMC in 2008. Chef Gourlie frequently participates as a presenter for the Edmonds Community College veteran awareness program where he speaks about injured combat veterans in the workplace and how employers can better understand and assist their combat veterans. In 2014 Chef Gourlie realized there was a need for an organization that worked with Veterans to reintegrate them back into the civilian workforce. Our mission is to establish a line of food trucks that are owned and operated by Veterans and their families.

As a classically trained chef, Chef Gourlie feels that all food should reflect passion and great flavor. His passion for Mexican food started with his father-in-law who began teaching him traditional Mexican dishes.
