Lake Pleasant RV Park

This is one of favorite RV parks.
It’s surrounds a great little pond.
Clean facilities, nice owners and dig friendly make This the perfect spot for RV life!
It’s a beautiful here!

Lake Pleasant RV Park is a beautiful oasis in the middle of a busy city. We were visiting relatives in North Seattle and Monroe and it worked out very well. The park is beautiful and the sites are spacious. The managers were great and very helpful. When we arrived (after driving through very heavy Friday afternoon traffic – what were we thinking???), the battery in our tow vehicle was dead. The managers gave us a jump (more than once) and all was well. We would definitely stay again. Also, there is an awesome shopping center right across the road!

After going through a fiasco at another campground, Lake Pleasant was fantastic. We called in a panic they found us a space that would work and were super friendly. The location is nice and quiet and secluded. Pet Friendly. We will definitely be back!

This place is quiet, the staff is awesome. They have a big lake in the middle of the park, and a great children’s park and climbing area, Nature trail, clean, private restrooms, all very nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only thing that knocks this place down to four stars is the horribly restrictive Wi-​Fi. That wouldn’t stop us from coming back, though.

Definately a great full service RV park and I always stay here when in the Seattle area (if I can get in, they stay full!) nice facilities, great restrooms/​showers and good location. Nice having a Safeway, Ivars clams, and pizza right across the street. Grounds are well maintained and lots of birds and ducks. Very pet friendly too with walking trails, etc. All sizes RV’s are welcome… It’s big rig friendly!

We love this park. It is a virtual oasis in a busy city. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. We had an 80′ back in on the second of two small lakes. Very scenic. There was ample room for our 39′ fifth wheel, dually pickup and a rental car we picked up to take into Seattle and other busy areas. The pads are cement and level. Our site (most all of them) had privacy hedges between us and our neighbors. Ducks and Canadian geese make for fun viewing. Only negative is the internet. You are allowed 60 consecutive minutes per day but I was never able to get on. At check in we were told you can buy time on tengointernet that gives you ²⁴⁄₇ access. I had AT&T hotspot and didn’t want to pay extra. They offer cable but we used our satellite. Did I say, «We love this park?»

We have been here for five months and we liked it for a lot of reasons. However, security concerns are on the uptick and they have us reconsidering staying any longer.
Pros:
Beautiful lake (man made, no swimming, has an otter, lots of wild birds, friends call it a mud puddle…)
Cleanish bathrooms — could be better maintained
Laundry facilities are cheap at $ 1 a load but are often busy
Cheaper propane
Close to city
Grocery store and RV gas station across street
Cons:
Office staff really needs to care because they don’t
No security at all… No fence, no watch, nothing.
Rules are a joke… no enforcement.
Homeless people are using facilities and presenting a security problem
We were not having any issues until the cold weather set in. Someone was trying our door for a couple nights. Also, we have seen some homeless folks using the showers/​laundry. Nobody seems to care at the office. They really need some security measures. For the price, you’d think they could afford it!

This place is great!
We needed a place to stay a couple of nights, close enough to the city, and to friends that live in Bothell, and boy we fount it.
The customer service was great, the sites were really nice, w the view of the lake. Ducks and frogs to keep us company, my daughter loved it.
Bus stop was across the street. We were able to spend the day in Seattle and come back home to our quiet oasis. Bathrooms were clean, so was the laundry room. The only thing that needs some improvement is the Internet access. We’ll definitely stay there again if we’re in the area.

we stayed here over the 4^th of july and loved it. The staff is very friendly and the place is immaculate! There is a lovely lake with ducks swimming and nice trails around the property to walk on. There is also a new shopping center across the street with a safeway grocery store which was very nice. I would stay here again and highy recommend it to others.

Not an avid RV person yet, I was still impressed by the cleanliness and beauty of this place. The bathrooms were warm and clean. The scenery was beautiful and besides the geese waking us up it was idyllic. I didnt find too much bird poop, but we only stayed for one night. I would stay there again for sure. Its got a Safeway across the street and its easy freeway access.

Very serene and VERY quiet ~ has nice large pond with ducks and geese. Well taken care of: very clean.
The RV park has cable TV and Wi-​fi. Very nice. (we’re here for medical reasons for UWMC transplant – great place to wait).

Spent two nights at Lake Pleasant, it was very peaceful. Great views of the lakes (no swimming), and a nice surrounding greenery. You hardly realize you are in town until you hear a fire truck.
Since we are not pro’s at RV-​ing we had to hoof it and found the local bus stop right out side the park, as well as a newer Safeway across the street. It you plan on taking the bus systems around town, order an Orka pass prior. It will save you a lot.
The bathrooms and showers were clean, and the water was HOT. I could have showered forever. Especially after a damp day on the town.
We used a pull through site, but both type of sites are there. Also no tent camping allowed. I wish there was to give my wife and I some time away from the kids.
All in all I would give three and a half stars but since it only allows full stars I am rounding up.

This is a gorgeous, secluded spot pretty local to Seattle — can’t get better than this if you’re visiting the greater Seattle area.
The camp is always clean and the campers pretty mellow. The owners got rid of the geese last year (don’t ask how, the owner’s wife doesn’t know and didn’t want to know…) so the previous issue of goose poop is now not an issue at all. In fact, while we were staying there an adorable little family of ducks were making the pond their home and would come waddle through the campsites on a daily basis while out for a walk. They were the unofficial camp ambassadors, the epitome of cuteness.
There is a brand-​new Safeway across the street and gas stations down the road. Downtown Bothell is just a short drive away and considering it’s out in the lush country, it is also very well-​situated to civilization.
Highly recommended!

This for the area is an extremely nice place to park and stay. With full bathrooms all over the site, you always have a nice place to keep clean. With complete hookup, 50amp, sewer and cable all of your needs are met. The surrounding area has several restaurants, several grocery stores, and Mill Creek Village which is just a few miles north along the Bothell Everett highway. This houses your kitchy shops and some fine dining. Across the street is a full service Safeway store with deli and all. Knowing this, you can show up here at anytime and not have to be stocked to the gills with food. You can buy it fresh right across the street.
Access from 405 is only about 1.5 miles away and access to I-​5 is also very close. The spaces themselves are nice and large. We had a full pull through spot as we have a 36′ travel trailer. Although coaches were on either side of us, each location has hedges on either side making it feel secluded even though they are just couple feet away. I would have given a five star rating had it been just a little more secluded, but that is a personal preference for me. And compared to a lot of places is far better than most.
There are walking trails to take the pooches and also a free run area that is fenced for them as well. Almost every person here has a dog or two of some kind, so make sure that they get along with others.

We showed up late on the Thursday before a busy weekend. We’d made reservations but they’d gotten mixed up – we were lucky to get a spot since it was jam-​packed. Everyone was friendly and the hook-​ups worked fine, the bathrooms were clean and showers were free. They do have hedges for privacy, but we still felt like sardines. They seemed to have a need to spell out lots of rules — don’t feed the ducks, try not walk on the grass, do NOT exceed 8 mph STRICTLY ENFORCED!. .. we ended up feeling like we were accidentally going to Very Bad Campers unless we were Very Very careful.
I suspect if it were less full, we’d have enjoyed it much more.
Convenient to park & ride to take the bus into the city, convenient to food — big plusses.

$ 45ish dollars a night, as of June 2009. This is the ongoing rate in the area. I found this park to be appealing, beautiful lake-​view spots where you can park your RV sideways in some spots. (RVs park all around the 2 lakes i believe) and then there’s an outer circle that doesn’t have lakeviews but are still private with tall hedges. Even so, the area feels safe and well-​managed.
We camped here and moved to Trailer Inns in Bellevue (see in my reviews) while passing through Seattle. We liked this one better. More trees, nice views. Full hookups. I wished they had 50 amps instead of 30 (but not a deal breaker) and I wished they had Wi-​Fi!!! Also no pool, but they do have a hiking trail that goes all around the park.

We have stayed at this RV park several times, but never again.
Yes, they have hard working people there, but the manager is an arrogant, very rude person. I have been RVing for 30 years, and I have never met anyone like him. We had a family emergency while staying there in 2005. He did everything he could to make the situation worse. We wil never stay there again. We also talked to the owner about the manager, and he could have cared less. Just wanted to warn other campers out there. There are other campgrounds in the Seattle area!

This is okay for out-​of-​towners and only for a short period of time. When my grandparents come they stay here only because there isn’t anywhere else. The pricing is okay and the spots are spacious. The only downfall is it is right by the busy road and there is goose poop everywhere!
