Keepsake Cottage has thousands of bolts of fabric, designed for Quilt Shops only. Everything from Civil War Reproduction fabric to Fun, Funky Contemporary prints. There are always dozens of samples hanging for inspiration. We have classes, clubs and Block-​of-​the-​month programs. Everyone on staff is a quilter and they are ready to help with your projects!

History

Established in 1985.

The business was opened in 1985 by Delberta Murray. Four years later Julie Stewart bought into the business. They expanded the shop at that time and worked together for 16 years. Delberta retired in 2005, and Julie continues to own the shop. When given the opportunity to move across the parking lot into the «barn», Julie jumped at the chance.

With over 5,000 bolts of specialty cottons we meet the needs of most of the area’s Quilters and Creative Sewers. With the increasing DIY community Julie tries to keep the young creative sewer in mind during her buying trips.

We also offer classes, and «free» advise!

As a long time quilter the shop is a labor of love. I am always looking for new and interesting products. I sew almost every day, and am constantly trying to keep up with the newest trends in the home sewing world. My customers are not just quilters anymore. Home sewers want the same high quality fabric that an independent store can offer. I have a great staff that will help with any project.
