Jose’s Landscape & Maintenance

This is the second time I have used Jose’s Landscaping. First was Spring 2015 and they trimmed, pruned and overhauled my lawn with aerating and thatching, seeding and fertilizing. Everything was immaculate and the lawn came in very nice, green and lush and created neighbor envy. Everything was cleaned up and spotless. I called them again for Fall 2015 trimming and pruning and once again, perfection! Good pricing, professional and good people to work with!

Jose’s Landscaping was awesome! I hired them to fix the mess that another landscaper had done and to finish my original landscaping plan. Everyone is super nice and easy to work with. Teo, the estimator was a delight to work with. The crew, Joaquin and Salvador, were really nice and were amiable to questions or any changes. They were very respectful of my property and did a great job. It is very obvious that their main goal is to make sure I am happy with their work. The icing on the cake was that Jose actually called me and thank me for my business! Very nice touch. My neighbors have already commented on how nice my yard looks now. I would definitely recommend them. I have already recommended them to my neighbor and co-​worker.

We have been looking for landscaping services for quite a while. Jose’s team offers a reasonable price with the most coverage of services which is why pick up them in the first place. They have done a great job in the end. Clean up the yard in a professional way and went beyond what was agreed on to clean up my deck and driveway. I will definitely recommend their services to other friends and families.

Jose’s Landscape & Maintenance, Inc. did a great job on our front landscaping. It was time to remove the grass and go with a maintenance-​free look. We wanted more maintenance-​free and less watering and to have a cohesive look that went with our home and the homes around us.
Jose’s crew was professional, fast and did a great job — one they obviously took pride in doing.
The result was exactly what we wanted and now we can add our own planter pots that will be the jewelry for the foundation they created.
We did the following: removed the sod and extra soil and provided the gravel.
They did the following: leveled everything, provided the base to lay down the pavers, expertly installed the pavers, installed border boards, laid down the weed barrier fabric and put in the gravel provided. They left everything neat and cleaned up all around before calling the job done. Asked if it was all okay and were very open to making any changes to insure customer satisfaction. They got everything done in one day — awesome!
We felt the price was fair and that we got a great landscaped yard in return.

The responsiveness, the timeliness, and the quality of the work are the highlights of our experience with this company. We had a medium size job replacing 5 evergreen trees and replacing an existing hedge with 20 boxwood plants in addition to trimming and removal of weeds.
When I got back from work and inspected the work there were a few corrections needed and Jose called on the same night and scheduled the crew to come on the next day to address them. Overall they have met far exceeded my expectations, I am really happy with their work; I would recommend them to family, friends and to anyone shopping for a good landscaper. I have saved their phone number in my contacts list for easy look up and for scheduling follow up maintenance. Thank you guys for a well done job!

Jose’s completely redid my backyard in 2 days and did a great job! They were on time, very competitive and very meticulous in their work. They installed a paver patio and it looks outstanding. I would highly recommend them!

So happy with the work Jose and his team did on our yard! I found Jose by looking through the great Unilocal reviews, and would absolutely work with them again.
We needed a lot of clearing our of brush, taking some small trees out and laying down sod. Jose responded right away with an appointment for an estimate, which turned out to be less than I expected which was great. They came out a couple of weeks later and got all of the work done in half a day.
The yard looks fantastic, the workers were nice and professional and we couldn’t be happier with everything. Highly recommend working with Jose, thank you to you and your team!

I looked up José’s company on Unilocal.I searched 6 different landscaping companies and met a lot of high priced unprofessional companies. José team was not only professional but quick. AMAZING!!! Jose and his crew did a fantastic job on our backyard. We had a standard new development back yard and now it is functional and usable space!!! We couldn’t be happier! Jose gets back to you right away and is extremely professional! His crew got the job done in one day, we will be recommending him to everyone we know! Our home has a large number of hedges which were in need of trimming. Lots of ornamental boxwood shrubs surrounding the house as well as huge privacy hedges (over 30 ft tall) bordering one entire side of the property.
We found Jose’s on Unilocal!and decided to give them a call. Jose responded quickly and came over within a day to scope out the project. He spent a lot of time with us going over the project and making suggestions. He is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He sent us his bid the same day and we agreed on a price. He scheduled his crew to come do the work within a week.
The day of the job, Jose arrived first and again reviewed the work to be done with my wife and I. His crew arrived 20 min later and he got them started. This was a huge job and at one point there were 8 guys working around our property. They did a great job and cleaned up the resulting mess quite well. They were ALL very polite and worked hard. They even helped me move my hottub to new location since there was enough man-​power present to do so.
I definitely recommend these folks. We will call them again for sure.

These guys do a great job! We use them for lawn maintenance. They are quick and thorough and reasonably priced. We are planning to use them next year for a bigger yard project.

Jose arrived promptly to give me a quote on some landscaping on my small property. He is very professional and knowledgeable and produced a reasonable quote in just a couple minutes. In the end, I decided I should just get my knees dirty and do it myself, frugal bastard that I am. Nonetheless, Jose was very understanding and thanked me for contacting him. Great experience.

We needed a fence rebuild for the back part of our townhouse and for some reason, had a little bit of trouble getting a decent quote. One company didn’t do tree removal, one company didn’t want to take on a project so small, another was ridiculously expensive, and one had a very lengthy project timeline. When Jose came out to give us a quote, his answer to all of our requests and concerns was, «No problem.» He surveyed the area and within minutes drew up three very reasonable quotes detailing some different options (most of the other companies took days to weeks to even get back to us). Jose had his crew start the job immediately – the day after we called to accept his quote – and it took only two days for them to finish. We’re so pleased with the quality of their work. So many of our neighbors have complimented us on the new home addition and have asked for Jose’s information for future projects of their own.
Jose is amazing to work with. He’s extremely friendly and very professional – his demeanor was the ultimate deciding factor for us to go with him and his crew. We really appreciate that they approached our simple project as if it were just as important as a larger, high-​profit contract. Their scope of services go beyond what we needed, so if you have any other landscaping needs, definitely check them out.

We bought new construction and opted out of the «upgrade» to have the builder landscape our backyard, which was essentially a an empty clay pit full of rocks and weeds. We got a couple of quotes from different landscapers. Jose was quick to respond, and came to our house personally to look at everything. He was very friendly, had good suggestions, and came back with the most reasonable quote. We ended up getting topsoil, sod, some shrubs, some bark, and some pavers. We also had them level the sloped side of the yard. The workers were very efficient. They showed up around 7am and were done before 2pm, even with a couple of trips to haul topsoil and sod. We love our new back yard and we will recommend Jose to any of our friends who need work done.

Jose and his team did a fantastic job on my backyard. They started early, were super efficient and made sure I was happy with the results. Jose really worked with me on the price and I appreciate that. I am very pleased with their work and would love to utilize their services again.

I called Jose’s a few weeks back after seeing the Unilocal reviews for help on my neglected messy yard. He called me back the very next day to arrange a time to meet. Within a few days his crew was out and completed the job. They were on time and went above and beyond what we discussed. Jose listened to me and worked within my budget. A+ I will most definitely be using them again in the future.

I was referred to Jose by a friend and was please at the speed in which they were able to make it out for an estimate and to do the actual job. I had my front yard completely redone and new plants put throughout the property. I really appreciated Jose working with me on price and making sure that both my wife and I were happy with what was being done. As a Realtor I am always on the lookout for good contractors and this is definitely one of my new favorites.
If you wonder why I did not give them Five stars, it is because I reserve a perfect score for someone who repeats excellent service. When I have them do the backyard I may come back and revise the review.

I love Jose and his crew. I have used his company on my rental properties and my home. I trust him and his suggestions and never worry about my rental properties because I know he can fix anything. I have referred him to all of my friends who also think he is a gem. Always on time, efficient and reasonably priced.

We had never had any yard maintenance done but after several years of really «letting the yard go» due to general life busyness we decided to see what it would take to get some professionals out to help clean things up.
Jose came out in the early evening after I got home from work to walk the yard and get an idea of what would be required. He was very friendly and asked lots of great questions. The next morning I had a nice written estimate in my e-​mail box covering several different options we had discussed. We decided to go all out and went for the «deep clean» option that included full on weeding and mulching of both the front and back yard garden beds, lawn mowing/​edging and hauling away all the debris.
I did get another company to come out and give an estimate for the same work and Jose’s were definitely more reasonable. We decided to go with Jose’s and when I let him know I was floored that he offered to come out with a crew the next day and get started.
The next day was a hive of activity at our house, with a crew of 9 men working non-​stop for 4 hours to transform our yard. My wife reported that all the men were friendly and courteous. I came home from work that evening and was blown away by the transformation of our yard. It looks fantastic! I cannot be more pleased with the results and believe it was well worth the investment. We definitely plan to use Jose’s Landscape again in the future.

We had been looking to hire someone for yard maintenance and our friend recommended Jose’s Landscape & Maintenance. We called and set up an appointment to get an estimate. Jose came out and met with us to talk about what our needs are; he gave us a customized detailed quote of what would be done during the initial visit and then every visit thereafter.
We called back to set up a time for them to come and start. Jose showed up first, early. He walked me through what his crew would be doing and what to expect. His crew of like 7 people showed up on time and got right to work. They work very fast and efficiently. Everyone is busy doing something and next thing I know they are finished and ringing the doorbell for me to inspect the work and make sure I didn’t need anything else.
They do a variety of services; we signed up for a custom maintenance plan that includes them coming out twice a month. Jose let me know that they will be sending me a monthly calendar informing me of what 2 days a month they will be coming.
I am extremely happy with the service that I received. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. We will be using them for all of yard needs (and they do pressure washing roof/​driveway/​deck!).
