Jezebel Vonzephyr Boudoir

When Sara opened her studio I was curious but always said that there’s no way she was going to get me in there. Then I started seeing her photos. Every single one was absolutely gorgeous!!! She has some seriously out of this world talent!!! I asked her to photograph my daughter’s graduation party and again I was amazed by her talent. She captured the ambiance and joy of the celebration. Of course that made me even more curious.
4 months ago she invited me to one of her workshops. I was terrified but I went. I had no idea what to expect but I went. Sara and her ladies were very attentive to each and every question that was asked and really made me feel welcome. I decided to put a deposit down but hadn’t come up with a date yet. It wasn’t long after the workshop that I scheduled my shoot. I don’t think 24 hours passed before I scheduled it.
Last month I attended another workshop and surprisingly I was no longer scared, I was excited. My photoshoot was only a few weeks away. Now it’s time to really start preparing. One of her ladies, who also happens to be a friend, gave me a ride home and helped me go through my closet. She pulled things out I wouldn’t even have thought of. But we also discovered what I was lacking. Yep you got it, Victoria Secrets here I come!!! However, as hard as it was to wait, I held off until the week of my shoot to go shopping. That week was filled with hair and nail appointments and of course shopping
2 weeks ago was my photoshoot and my reveal was last night. THEY ARE AMAZING!!! But I’m getting ahead of myself now aren’t I. The morning of my shoot I went through my bags again to make sure I had everything. I’m ready! When I got to the studio, Sara and Makenzie greeted me with open arms and we began by going through my jewelry and clothes. We picked out the outfits for my shoot. I’m a little nervous but really excited! When the aesthetician arrived we began. She started with the facial and body wrap. Omg if you haven’t had the galvanic wraps do it, it’s awesome! While I was getting the body wrap, Makenzie styled my hair and did my makeup by the time she was finished, the body wrap was also ready to be unwrapped and Sara’s caterer arrived with my lunch. Lunch was specifically made for my dietary needs (I’m allergic to just about everything) and it was DELICIOUS!!! After lunch I put on my first outfit and we began. The next couple hours was one of the most awesome experiences of my life. It’s been a dream of mine to be a super model and I felt like one that whole day. There were a couple times when Sara had said its time to change and I wasn’t finished. I had my own ideas. She loved my ideas and went with it. Those pictures also happen to be some of my favorites. By the time we were finished with my photoshoot I was floating on air and that lasted for a couple days. I still feel beautiful and confident. Even more so after seeing my pictures! This is definitely something every woman should experience for themselves! It’s a very uplifting and powerful feeling and seeing the smile on my husbands face during the reveal was priceless. BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT NOW!!! I wish I had done this sooner! I waited a long time to get my pictures done because of typical girly insecurities. After seeing my friends photos I decided to go for it. As soon as I walked in the studio my insecurities flew out the door. These ladies are amazing. Sarah and Makenzie are such a great team and amazing at what they do. They make you feel welcome and comfortable from the minute you walk in the door. The reveal was also such an amazing experience. I absolutely loved the photos and my sweetie was super excited about his surprise. I can’t wait to book my next shoot!

Do not EVEN think of going all the way into downtown Seattle for a boudoir shoot — these local gals are THE bomb. They have a lovely, intimate, private studio right in downtown Bothell with free, convenient parking. They are extremely helpful at prepping you for your session, and I felt perfectly comfortable turning everything over to them and letting them make me look good — and I wasn’t disappointed.
Seriously, it’s like hanging out with some of your favorite girlfriends for a couple of hours… and oh, yeah… we’re just taking a few pictures, too. You do not feel one bit awkward or self-​conscious. They also show you shots along the way so you can adjust as necessary, AND see how awesome you look. I could not believe that was me!
I opted to have them do my hair and makeup as well, and I am extremely glad I did. They did so much better than I would have, and it was really great to have an objective view of myself and do something different — which was my entire goal to begin with. The colors turned out perfect and I received a ton of compliments on my makeup afterward. (If they could do my makeup while I slept so I could wake up looking like that ever day, I’d be set for life.)
If you’ve been on the fence about doing a boudoir shoot or think you’re too old, too fat, or too whatever… pffft. GO. But go HERE. You won’t be sorry.

My experience with Sara was multi faceted. First she has a way of making you feel comfortable and as if you have known her for years. Second she is a talented photographer. What I got out of my session was a wonderful experience which was healing for me personally, lots of gorgeous photos and a teary eyed husband who loved his anniversary gift. I have referred several people to sara who have had wonderful sessions as well. There have been many people who have seen my photos and wanted to know who did them.
Not only does Sara do beautiful boudoir photos she also has done two regular photo sessions with my teen daughters focusing on their love of dance and head shots for use at dance competitions. She worked well with them allowing them freedom to get the poses they wanted and they had fun!
She is now my go to for any photos I need boudoir or family.
