We were created to help people with disabilities to enjoy the sport of fishing. Our Mission is to enhance the fishing experience of people with physical challenges by making the best adaptive fishing equipment available. We understand the challenges that face a disabled anglers and their requirements for adaptive fishing equipment. Any adaptive fishing equipment used must fit and function to the specific needs of the person fishing. Freedom Adaptive Systems is owned and operated by a Disabled American Veteran who lost the use of his right arm and right foot in combat.

History

Established in 2012.

The owner being a severely disabled veteran with a love for fishing, the business began with the notion of making the sport of fishing easier on himself as well as the millions of individuals world wide who have a difficult time holding a fishing rod. Creating adaptive fishing equipment has become a passion. And supporting our veterans and all men and women serving our country is a top priority of Freedom Adaptive Systems.

In the future we plan to design and produce other adaptive items to try to make life easier for people with disabilities.
