I needed to get a custom bracket hanger for my exhaust a week ago and this fine looking gentlemen told me to go to Airport Welding & Muffler to save me some money. I appreciate his excellent service and his honesty. Gotta love having these people work at places like these. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Fast, incredibly friendly, and very thorough. We weren’t quite sure what was wrong with our Saturn, but they discovered it was a bad battery and explained everything to us with patience and accuracy. Highly recommend!

11/​12/​2015 — An update to my original 1 star review. My original opinion of them has changed after speaking to Jeff (the owner).
So, it is considerably more expensive compared to most places I’ve had experience with. But what you’re paying for is great customer service. There is always someone to answer the phones, and everyone I’ve interacted with has been very professional. Jeff is obviously someone who is knowledgeable about cars and on how to run a business. That combination isn’t always there.
I really appreciate that Jeff took the time to call me, because I had wanted to speak with someone regarding what I felt were excessive charges. He could have blown me off, but he obviously values his customers. He explained their own process to ensure accuracy and quality. He also pointed out that they guarantee their parts and labor for 3 years. He also agreed to gave me a partial refund of what I believed wasn’t fair.
So my advice:
— If you have an understanding of what’s going on with your car, be sure to communicate that clearly. Be clear about what you want done.
— If you’re clueless when it comes to cars and how they functions, this is a good place to take it. They are thorough and their workmanship is great. My car does run noticeably better and I checked under my hood, so I know they did do the work they said they did. They warrant their work for 3 years or 36k miles. Just be aware they do charge more than a lot of places (even my dealership), but from what I can tell they are very trustworthy.
11÷5÷2015 — I would have gone elsewhere had it not been urgent. They prices are really high. I was charged About $ 500 for the diagnosis of a misfire (which I already had read at an auto part store) and for them to replace one ignition coil. I know enough to know what it takes to come to that diagnosis and to do the work. I could have done this myself, but chose to bring it in because of convenience. I’m just extremely unhappy with the way they do pricing. I got a quote from a dealership and even they would have been cheaper (approximately $ 600 for diagnosis and replacement of all 4 coils).

We are relocating to this beautiful state from Texas in the Bothell area. Happened upon this great place while renting a van to run an errand. Fantastic service provided by Brett in customer service and mechanic, Joshua. I left my car for a simple oil change, and Brett went over and beyond. The brake light had been coming on for some time, and I thought it was an issue with the wiring. They discovered that the brake fluid was low, so Brett said that he had them top it off, which I thought was very nice. I left the shop, and received a call a few minutes later to say that they hadn’t done it, after all, but if I was in the area, to please come back. I did, and they filled up the break fluid. Brett, nor Joshua needed to do that since I had already paid and left, but their actions showed great commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.

Wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable staff. I am moving to California and time was running out for me to get my car issues resolved before I left town. I called E.A. because it was in my vicinity and advertised that they worked on Suburus. They were very booked for the week but suggested I drop my car off so as soon as a cancellation occured they could get to work on it right away (this was in addition to an appointment that I made for Wednesday). As it turned out they were able to get to my car before Wednesday and so I was able to pick it up days before I would have had to otherwise.
I received a AAA discount and Phil even volunteered some great tips on finding a new mechanic when I arrive in California. The waiting area is very welcoming with vintage toys, etc. to view. That was pretty cool.
If I weren’t moving I’d stick with this mechanic shop.

These guys just tried to RIP OFF my buddy on a starter replacement for a 2003 Honda Accord. Tried to charge $ 700 for part plus labor! We called Dino’s in Woodenville, $ 350 for the same repair. Stay away from these thieves! F–

Had my cars in for service numerous times. Always a fair honest experience. Super friendly staff. Have been satisfied with my repairs each time.

I was relieved and excited that I was able to get an appointment the same day I had an unfortunate encounter with a beam in my garage. Mike is amazing and went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of.
The lobby is comfortable and has free drinks and snacks. Parking looks like it can get a little difficult when it’s busy but I haven’t had a problem finding a spot.
The Unilocal deals are great– dont forget to check in! I will definitely be back if I ever need work again in the future (hopefully not, haha).

I needed some auto body repair work because of a low speed collision with a distracted driver on I-​405. The staff at Evergreen Auto Works were friendly and knowledgeable. They keep me informed on the repair process. They advocated on my behalf with the Insurance Company. Frankly they worked their back sides off to complete the job as quickly as possible and under the estimate. Everything from the initial estimate to delivery was spot on. I worked directly with the owner, something you don’t see often these days. There are many places that do bodywork, none that will top Evergreen Auto Works. I have no regrets choosing Evergreen Auto Works and will use them again if ever needed. A side note that has nothing to do with the repair, the lobby is full of memorabilia, much it donated by customers. This mini museum is very cool.

Extremely friendly staff. I was greeted at the counter immediately. Mike repaired the damage on my Lincoln quickly, professionally and personally thanked me for coming in.

Someone hit and broke my mirror while my car was parked in a parking deck and didn’t leave a note. So, I ended up here in hopes of getting it fixed.
Staff is very accommodating and offers free refreshments. Everyone was nice and professional. I turned out not taking my car here because I can’t afford nearly $ 270 to fix a side mirror. The online cost estimates I found were over $ 100 cheaper than that.
I like the staff, but I do think this place is on the pricey end of car repair shops.

My family has been taking our cars here for years… but not anymore. My sister already stopped using them because they were doing shady things with her car. I wish I knew this before I took my car there to fix my alternator is September. First they quoted me even morn than the Ford dealership! Then when I told the guy what there quote was… he said he could do it at that price. They said that I had to get a new battery to guarantee my alternator. Even though my battery was working– I said fine and they replaced that and one other thing. I ended up spending about $ 900 total to fix this and 6 months later it’s not working again! So I’m stuck paying for this same damn thing. Oh and guess who is not open today for me to ask about this? And my car is nowhere near their shop… so thanks for taking my money and not fixing the issue.

I have had sort of a hit-​and-​miss relationship with Evergreen over the past 17 years, but through staff changes and over time, they are winning my praise and gratitude.
Not only did they squeeze me in very late on July 2^nd (I had to be towed there after they closed, and they weren’t sure they’d get to my car until after the holiday weekend), they called me back the next morning with a diagnosis and a repair and were able to get my car back to me before the 3-​day weekend. Which is phenomenal in my book since I only have one car and 3 people in my household to buzz around! Did I mention I didn’t have to rent a car while mine was there? Okay, that was due to very generous friends, but my car was there less than 24 hours, so I’m glad I didn’t go through the hassle of renting for such a short time!
Today, though, was less of an emergency, yet another delightful outcome. My (very old) car had a burned out running lamp. I know nothing about cars other than how to drive them, put gas in them, and use the cup holders, so I stopped in at Evergreen to see what they would charge me to replace the bulb. Phil took over, grabbed my keys, and (no kidding) in less than 10 minutes was back with my car and its new bulb. I didn’t even have time to get myself some popcorn! I asked him what I owed him for such great service and he said just a good referral. OMG, really? I can totally do that!
So, as promised, here is a great referral for Phil and all his peeps at Evergreen Autoworks. A few years ago I didn’t think I could give them such a beaming review, but they have truly stepped up their level of service and care and I am impressed.

Auto shops aren’t generally places you want to hang out at, but Evergreen serves free popcorn and lattes, so I don’t mind making a stop every now and again when my car is in need of some attention!
Gluttony aside, this auto shop has made quite the impression. My first stop here was awhile back for a quick tire pressure check since I knew one tire was low, thanks to my trusty annoying red exclamation point light. Phil was on it right away — and with the kindest of personalities, too! Air was put in, and off I went with only the promise to come back when service was needed for my car.
This week, I finally needed to have my BMW serviced for an oil change. Fortunately for me, Phil was there to take my car in once again for a same-​day appointment. One hour later, I was on my way out of their shop with a revitalized car!
What is remarkable about this shop is their integrity. They are NOT the cheapest, but I’d rather pay an extra 10 — 20 bucks to have work done by trustworthy folks who aren’t looking to rip you off or find bogus flaws in the car to reap more money out of their customers.

Recently went here for an estimate regarding a fender bender… Very professional service and most helpful all at no charge. Wish I was having them do the repair work but not staying in town long enough time for that. Great museum in the waiting lounge!

.I am not sure how this should have been handled but I don’t agree with the 170 charge you made Debbie Shaffer pay. She called and told you that she was still under warranty and not to work on it but due to poor communication within your business it was diagnosed by your staff anyway. I think a discount at the minimum would be appropriate in this situation.
Also all it would take a decent mechanic for less than 20 minutes to figure out it was the transmission we had already figured that out and didn’t need your $ 170 diagnostic bill period. I think you took advantage of her because she is a woman. I am not going to say nice things about your shop believe me.

UPDATE:
Upon reviewing my Unilocal review the shop re-​examined my bill and discovered a billing error on the labor side. They refunded a fair amount of the difference — several hundred dollars. That was an unexpected and welcomed courtesy so I’ve upgraded them by a star. Thank you, Evergreen.

I selected this shop due to positive Unilocal reviews that are spread over a period of time plus their close proximity to my house.
I found them to be courteous, friendly, and professional. Their front office is clean, well staffed, and equipped with decent computer technology. They diagnosed my overheating problem the day I dropped my car off and the repairs were made within about a day. They guarantee parts and labor for 3 years /​36,000 miles.
I found their markup on parts and labor excessive and more than double what the dealer would have charged me. The convenient location and quality of service is not high enough for me to feel good about paying so much more than a dealer would charge.

I have spent quite a large sum of money between 4 vehicles over a 1month period, prepping them for sale, yet when I call in for an A/​C issue, have them say bring it in, we’ll drive with you so we can hear it, I do that, in my personal vehicle,. They can’t seem to find 10mins to go with me, drive the vehicle to hear the noise in the AC to repair it, sending me on my way, driving this rig now, knowing there is an AC motor or belt issue potentially going to break at any time, but that’s OK with them. Money works at other shops as well. So much for a good working relationship.

This is a follow up to my recent review I posted few days ago. I got a call from Paul there told me that he understand that I have a repeated problem that they should be responsible for fixing it. I dropped it off this morning, and Paul has dug through all the records of my car. It turned out that they have two databases — one older and one newer. Apparently my 2011 record was in the old database in which they recorded a leak and identified the fix; I might have been a cheapskate who decided to come back to fix it in 2012. Their record show I came back in 2013 in the new database. Whoever did my van in 2013 didn’t look up my old record in the old database. Anyhow, they fixed it with no charge. I think there isn’t anything better they could have done. So I am a happy customer again.
I will come back to give them 5 stars if it is indeed fixed — I need a hot day to find out.

I had an amazing experience at Evergreen auto works. Phil Johnson has the best customer service I have come across in a long time. He is so polite on the phone and makes sure you understand all polices and procedures before any work is done to your vehicle. He remembers your name and you can tell he really loves the work he does. After my first visit all I could think of was how I could thank him for how great I felt after leaving the location.
My first visit my car broke down in the Kirkland area and I did not have a shop close to my home in Everett. Luck would have it, I looked online and they were open late (until 6) and I was able to speak to them before having my car towed to their shop and left overnight. I only have one vehicle and manage a restaurant and need to be able to get to work (I commute to Kirkland from Everett). Lucky they had a loaner car for me the very next day. It was a quick no hassle transaction and I could keep the car until mine was fixed. Turns out is was a battery/​alternator issue and it was fixed in three days — dropped off on a Friday.
I know nothing about cars and at that time they suggested some routine maintenance. I could not afford it because of the cost of unexpected repairs as stated above. I waited a couple months and as soon as I could afford it went back to get the maintenance done. Phil was so honest about all the work, he was a pleasure to speak with. I have never been good at maintaining my vehicles but now I might be more inclined to because of the ease of doing business here — especially with knowing I can get a loaner car for any amount of time– and that I get amazing service!
