I was thinking about purchasing a car from a private seller in the Mill Creek area. Although the seller stated the car was in excellent condition, I wanted to take it to an auto mechanic unknown to either of us for an honest inspection. And boy, am I glad I did. Long story short, I took the car into Docs with a last minute inspection request and had it inspected by Doc himself. This guy is simply amazing. He absolutely saved me from buying a potential lemon. Please please please take your car into Doc for that pre purchase inspection. You won’t be disappointed.

Doc’s is great. I saw the high Unilocal reviews and decided to go over, and he and his shop well deserve the high rating.
I feel like I can trust Doc entirely.
–Verbally, Doc gave me a quote for repair work on my vehicle. I forgot to get it in writing. When I went to pay, the amount was exactly what was quoted to me verbally.
–He pointed me to some nearby shops that could perform services cheaply instead of charging me a higher price himself
–He was very straightforward about the work he was going to do on my car
–Doc and his staff are quite simply just very friendly

Doc is an incredible person! And he’s been so helpful in fixing my old car. I never feel taken advantage of or disrespected. I heard about Doc’s Auto Center through my buddy. He referred me to Doc’s and said they guy was exceptionally good! I was hesitant to call just because I had a couple difficult situations with some very rude people at other car places that day, but I took the advice of our friend and called Doc up. Thank goodness I did! Doc’s Auto was immediately helpful! You can tell it’s a family owned and operated business, which I love, and they really take care of their customers. From the first phone conversation all the way to when I picked my car up, I felt like I was being taken care of with amazing service! Doc was a straight shooter, he told me upfront costs and walked me through everything. Something came up with my car while he was working on it and Doc kept me in the loop along the way and even called me to go over a couple different options. Even though they were booked out 30+ days, Doc still made time to get my car in. I was, and still am, very impressed with this business. Doc and his business has earned a client for life! I’ve told multiple people about his business already. Get to Doc’s Auto Center if you have any car needs! =)

I stopped to get a coffee on the way to work and when I came out my car wouldn’t start! Sadly I know virtually nothing about cars. Fortunately, I was next to Doc’s. I walked over and despite being fully booked they were happy to help. I had to wait just a little bit and while I was waiting I saw Doc interact with several customers. He was knowledgeable, understanding and helpful.
In the end my battery was toast but they got me up and running and on my way in no time. I was only 20 minutes late for work!
I’ve always been nervous working with mechanics since I come to the table with no knowledge. They took care of me at Doc’s and charged me a very reasonable price. I’ve never had such a positive experience at a business before and I want everyone to know. For me I’m going to do any necessary maintenance on my car at Doc’s!

Saved me some serious heartache when purchasing a used car from Brooks Biddle Automotive. The dealership had concealed damage to a vehicle that had been in a very serious accident and had extensive damage. Car had a clear Carfax, dealership listed it as no accident vehicle, yet someone had spray painted damaged undercarriage and done half assed repairs, enough to conceal from inspection everything short of putting it on a lift. Long story short Doc is lifesaver and don’t ever buy a car from Brooks Biddle.

Being in Bothell for 28 years, I remember a small town feel! That’s the honest, expert, time-​taking professionalism you will get from Doc’s. They know what they do, they do it right, they tell you the truth. Who doesn’t want that when it comes to your car? Mine was sounding like the engine was going to fall out! Doc is amazing! He is honest, does great work, and he is one of the nicest guys around town. I also love that this is a family business — his lovely wife is just as charming and helpful. I won’t take my cars to any other auto repair shops except to Doc’s!

Hi Doc, this is Chris Townsend. Doc’s Auto Center is great. My parents and I bring our cars to him. His prices are reasonable and his work is outstanding. But the best thing about Doc is, you can just meet him and he makes it seem like he’s been your friend for years. Aloha!

Both my wife & I needed autobody work done on our cars. One was an older GEO Prizm and the other a 2 year old Hyundai Elantra. Doc not only did the work on the Prizm at a far lower rate than any other shop, but he did it right then while we waited. He then went over the Elantra and gave us a firm price and set a date for it to get done. The finished job was exactly like new. We could not see from any view that work had been done. I have one older Buick that needs a little buffing out and it is next. We absolutely would not go anywhere else for service. A big plus is that Doc & Sharon are a delight to do business with!

Took a car here to be inspected, was not disappointed. Gave a thorough run down on the car and kept me from jumping in a money pit. Would highly recommend Doc’s.

Had a problem Biddle couldn’t solve. Biddle had 3 opportunities to figure out why my car just died. Wait 5 minutes and it was just fine. But it would just randomly die driving. Doc fixed it in an hour. Good job.

Being New to Bothell/​Mill Creek I was lucky to find such a great Auto Center and it’s so closet o me too! He worked very hard for us and we plan to bring the whole families cars to him from now on. we brought in my poor baby and thought it was a fuel pump unfortunately not… Timing belt and Doc advised us against wanting to replace the motor and timing belt (costing too much not worth it for my car). Meanwhile my husbands car needed a water pump replaced and he did it all including looking at a car we wanted to buy for a very reasonable price. Definitely going to add him into our family!

Doc has been servicing our 5 cars for years. He is an excellent and trustworthy mechanic and also does expert body repairs. You will be hard pressed to have better body repair work done anywhere else and based on 4 body repair estimates I got, he was the best price. For a repair, 3 other top Unilocal body shops gave an estimate of $ 1500_​$ 1700. Doc did it for $ 800. He is a craftsman and remolded the damaged front panel rather than replace it like everyone else was going to do. It looks perfect and we got the car back 2 days earlier than the other shops quoted. Give Doc a try. You’ll be a customer for life!

It’s true, I’ll be a customer of Doc’s for life! I recently needed front end body work done. Doc was upfront about what needed to be repaired and despite the fact that my Honda civic was close to being totaled, he advised me that it was worth repairing because the rest of The car was sound and Honda’s are good long term cars. We agreed on a price that was less than I expected then when the car was done one day earlier than expected he saved me Even more money! Doc was so easy to work with, explained things so a mechanically challenged person like me could understand and was flexible with scheduling and all my questions regarding repairs and my dealings with the insurance company. Great working relationship!

We had someone lined up to fix some dents and scratches on our car, but after our calls weren’t returned– we were forced to find someone else in a short time frame. I found Doc’s by looking online for a good auto body repair shop in Bothell. Because ratings were high, I gave them a call and set an appointment.
Doc was very friendly and down to earth and took a good look at my car to see what kind of work needed to be done. I told him my budget and he agreed to stick to it.
When it came time to pick up the car, I didn’t expect that it would look as good as it did. I was blown away! Doc went above and beyond and got it done in the time frame we needed it done by. The charge for the work was exactly what we had budgeted. It’s a rare thing these days to find someone sticks to their word and doesn’t try to make extra money off people when fixing their car.
I am so thankful to have found Doc’s Auto Center and I will recommend them to everyone I know who needs auto body repair or a good mechanic! He is trustworthy, friendly and all the good reviews about him are true. He also gets things done in a reasonable time frame.
