Quite good doughnuts. I particularly like the maple bars. The place itself, yucky. Pushy counter person who wasn’t wearing shoes inside her dirty restaurant. She kept on trying to ‘encourage’ me to buy more even after I had already ordered and said«That’s all, thank you»(You want this? Come on, you want this?) I think it was more of a language thing than intentional rudeness but it was still obnoxious. And I really could not get past the dirtiness of the store. But if someone brought me the doughnuts and I did not have to visit the store I would eat them gladly.

Excellent donuts and perfect classics donuts to choose and eat. Nice and simple ordering with friendly customer service. I paid in cash. I don’t know if they take debit or credit card. I was having trouble choosing 6 donuts. My donuts were fresh. The apple fritters were super sweet and crunchy. I’m not sure if the apple fritters are suppose to tasted like that but they tasted excellent and different. The maple bar was fluffy like a cloud and oh sooooo delightful! Yessir yum yum yum in my tum tum tummy!

Really love this place and their light fluffy donuts. The light texture is comparable to Krispy Kreme, but much more affordable. Place isn’t exactly the prettiest, but I wouldn’t expect much of a little hole-in-the-wall spot(especially for a donut shop) the lady isn’t very personable, but I don’t think she’s outwardly trying to be rude, I think her English is limited and probably isn’t familiar with American mannerisms, but she’s always been very sweet to me. This is my go to donut shop, and I’ve looked all over Bothell, Woodinville and Kirkland.

I live only a few miles away from this place. I finally biked here for the first time and tried a donut. It was around 3 pm(they close at 5) so I didn’t see all of their menu options available. Like any bakery, come early and you’ll get better quantity and quality. Anyway, I got an apple fritter and, like from a strong gust, it blew my socks off. Big, crispy and delicious! Also, the nice lady working there threw in a free chocolate coconut cake donut in my bag. I didn’t notice until I opened the bag after I had left the building. Very nice. Top notch. Super supreme. Deluxe brilliance.. . Go there. Donuts rock. The end.

Cash or check only? Where are your giant glaring signs stating that? You must hate your customers. Most of the doughnuts are quite small anyways. Won’t ever receive a dime of my money.

9I’m very picky when it comes to donuts. Washere yesterday and we couldn’t believe our eyes when we found the shop place stilll open at 4:30 late afternoon and stocked with a good selection still remaining. We couldn’t believe our eyes. Their french crulers were out but every donut I got, I liked. My daughter ate all her fritter right away while commenting how good it was as she munched away. I used to love Westernco donuts in Crossroads as far as small family owned shops in the area. But this is closer to my new home now. I’ve had a few varieties of their donuts. My favorite is still the cruler but their old fashioned is just as exceptional. There are 3 varieties of old fashioned glazed: sugar, maple, and chocolate. All equally great. They are just the right texture, not burnt, not hardened by poor cooking or left out to become stale, and the glaze is properly set. The donuts taste fresh. You will love the rich buttermilk in this and the buttermilk bar. This is my third time here and the kind and sweet lady remembered me the last 2 times. This is definitely a hopping place sometimes so have a little patience if theres a short line.

My boyfriend introduced me to this place when we first started dating. The only issue I have is the front lady isn’t nice at all. She pushes donuts on you, then puts donuts in your bag anyways. I told her I only wanted 2, she scuffled and told me «why not, you already fat» Excuse me. They only take cash, their donuts have a lot of icing and it’s a bit dirty in there. 3 stars as boyfriend would be mad at 2. Good luck.

The Best. Donuts. Ever. Don’t let the tiny unassuming shop fool you — you will swoon and yum. Get a dozen and freeze some for later — they somehow taste just as good! Super-nice staff is a bonus :)

Just… No. I have eaten a lot of donuts in my lifetime and have the body to show for it? I have had donuts at other Countryside locations and they have always been tasty. We just moved to Kenmore and this morning ventured here for donuts. Upon getting home, my daughter ate a sprinkled cake donut, my husband two glazed and me an apple fritter. While sweet and sugary and otherwise tasty, every bite was almost like drinking deep fried oil out of a straw. The donut had the overall taste of over-used fry oil and and the grease in my mouth was disgusting. Husband and daughter complained of the same. My total price was $ 6.25 and I handed the woman working behind the counter a $ 20. She asked me for a quarter so I went to my car to fetch one(and was gone maybe 20 seconds). Came back and she had disappeared, leaving me waiting for a few minutes while she did whatever she was doing. She then came back and gave me $ 13 change for what should have been $ 14. And it seemed really dirty in there. I won’t go back. Gross. Gross. Gross.

This was an unexpected find in an early Sunday morning hunt for a quick breakfast. The shop is located behind the Sherwin-Williams store right in the heart of downtown Bothell. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by an array of freshly made donuts ranging from a simple sugar dipped to the more intricate chocolate glazed with filling. I did notice the lack of debit/card payment system, which led me to believe they are strictly cash(and possibly checks) only establishment. The sign«0 trans fat» was a welcoming tidbit of information. I ordered a maple bar and bavarian crème filled donut. Both were delicious and filling. The dough was light and the bavarian crème filling tasted as if it was produced in a small batch. The service was immediate and with a smile. I highly recommend trying this donut shop. Nice simple charm of small neighborhood shop.

We ended up coming here unexpectedly on a Sunday when adjacent Hillcrest Bakery was closed. We had not yet looked it up on Unilocal but were pleasantly surprised to see a four star rating after we parked. We were there in the early afternoon, and very few donuts varieties were left by then(a good sign!), but we did enjoy the cake donuts(chocolate frosted), which are our favorites to try. We would give it 3 ½ stars if we could. Glad we found this place!

We couldn’t even eat the doughnuts we purchased because they were so incredibly saturated with oil. Gross!

I must have passed by this place a million times on my way to Julio’s Restaurant. Today, I stopped in for a look-see…and was so glad I did. What greeted me were cases of glistening glossy donuts and bars. They looked as if they just came out of the oven and were dipped in glaze. I bought a half dozen: maple bars, glazed, berry filled, and apple fritters. Each one has been delicious. The consistency is a little denser than the average Krispy Kreme — more like old-timey deep fried donuts. Great Mexican food followed by a great dessert at Countryside… how can you hate that?

Just three words… damned good doughnuts! Same goes for Factory Doughnut in Kingsgate. ****************************** Note: 6÷16÷14 F.D. does have great donuts but the service is horrible. New owner is beyond rude… her good, friendly and funny staff have all left because of the beast woman. Against my better judgement I stopped by today with a friend… she wanted to get some for her husband. No one was around at all. I called out a hello, no response. I waited a few more seconds and called out again and we got a nasty, «I said I’ll be right there!» Did I buy anything from that grouchy old dragon woman? Not no, but hell no… also told her she’d not see me again… my friend told her the same. No wonder the whole display case was still full at 3:45pm. Used to be you were lucky to get a donut hole at that time of day. Her donuts are gonna end up just as stale as herself with that attitude.

I am not a regular doughnut eater since they almost always disappoint, especially once you realize that the taste was just«OK at best» and not worth the calorie bomb that just went off in your system. Add to that the fact that donuts always look delicious. How can chocolate covered fried bread be anything but amazing? Somehow many doughnut shops manage to screw things up. But after the first bite into one of Country Side Donuts(a friend brought a few boxes to a meeting) I was at their mercy. Generally I have pretty good self control over pastries, but not this time. I did have«bites» from about 4 different kinds but went back to finish a few off. They were that good! I don’t recommend these for the calorie or weight conscious as you can fall of the diet wagon in a hurry!
