Canyon Park Licensing

Guys and Gals are awesome. Had trouble with Renton Licensing as bought my «used» truck in that area. They were irritating as to whether or not my truck had to be worth State Tax value in excellent condition but alas it’s not. Like talking to a wall;Frustrating. Reviews here nailed it on the head. They spent time gathering data and helped me out like a damn good neighbor would. Would be proud to call them my friends. Tabs/​New Title in just a few minutes, new plates too-​already with month/​year stickers on. Thought I was dreaming. Thanks Canyon Park Licensing. Keep up the totally awesome work!

These guys are awesome. I bought a new truck from out of state and needed to register it. I took it to my usual place, Wendel’s, and after a half-​hearted attempt to figure out the truck’s weight, they told me I had to take it to a scale to have it weighed. I’d never heard of having to do this before, and strongly suspected it was due more to laziness or ignorance on the part of the employee than an actual requirement. Then they told me that the approximate value of the truck wasn’t coming up in their searches, so I would have to research it myself and then present them with the evidence that my vehicle was worth the same amount that I paid for it, which they may or may not accept. The employee literally told me «when it doesn’t come up in our system, it becomes your problem.» Seriously?
Rather than run around jumping through hoops for Wendel’s, I decided to go for a second opinion and headed over to Canyon Park based on the strength of their reviews online. Lo and behold, they were extremely friendly and helpful, even jovial. Everyone working there seemed to be in a good mood. They ran into the same issue finding the weight of the truck, but rather than put it on me, they pulled out some books and looked it up in about 30 seconds. Problem number one solved. They had no problem pulling up the value of the truck in their system. Problem number two solved. I was out the door with new plates and tabs in no time. They even had free M&M cookies for people waiting in line! I won’t hesitate to go out of my way to go to this place in the future. Easily the best DMV experience I’ve ever had.

This place sets the standard for service, and they are a licensing department! This is why govt needs to use private enterprise whenever possible. I’ve been licensing equipment for 35 years and have never had such a great experience as I have with Canyon Park. No matter where you live in the state, when you order online choose these guys. If I don’t go in but order online, I will often have tabs in 24 – 48 hours. They immediately mail when you place order. Great group of people who know how to get it done. There are plenty of staff. Never wait in line long.

Contacted them on Friday to get a WA state plate/​registration. My finance company requested a fax from them in order to release title. I spoke with Shannon here, she assured me she would send a fax to them and would contact me when completed. 15 seconds after i hung up with her i received a call from a fax machine. She obviously accidentally faxed the document to me. I tried calling back, went right to voicemail, i left a message. No one called back. I contacted them on Saturday and a rude female told me they don’t haven anything in my name and there’s nothing they could do on a Saturday. This service is joke. Do not waste your time with these people! It appears they cannot multi task.

Great experience here today. The people are super friendly, and I was out the door with my renewed tabs in less than five minutes! (and that was even during lunch hour)

I give this place negative stars. What a joke. I just moved here a few months ago and I keep getting the run around with them. All I want to do is change states. My loan company said I’m at the mercy of Canyon park licensing.

Out of all the dol’s I’ve been to this one is the most professional and friendliest I have ever been to. There was no wait time and the staff was pleasant and very nice :) in the future I will only go back to this dol. other dol’s I’ve been to everyone seems to be in a shitty mood all the time.

On my first visit I came in with insufficient paperwork in order to receive new plates after moving across country. I had checked the website to verify what I needed, but upon being seen, I was told that I didn’t have what I needed. I explained that I provided what they stated they needed on their website. The managers response was, «oh, we haven’t updated that thing in forever.» Um, then don’t have a website if you don’t plan on keeping it current, specially since you are providing a service for time sensitive materials. This was really inconvenient and I should have known better than to just trust the website, lesson learned. However, on my second trip, I was in and out quickly, but the customer service element could use improvement.

These guys are a little more on the ball than the usual licensing places. Even if you don’t have something more outside the norm to license, you’ll still save time here. But if you’re licensing a turkey hunt, a trailer, etc., then these guys will get the job done more efficiently than most places.
It’s a small space, but the employees know their stuff and they keep the line moving.

They’re open Saturdays
They’re open late Wednesdays
They even have a pop machine
They kinda thought of everything when it comes to getting licenses, tabs, and so on out to the public. I had a keystone kops experience with my last truck purchase, and these guys handled all the goofy snafus just fine for their part.
One thing to keep in mind… they’re always busy. Expect a long line, even if it does move fast. There’s really no such thing as five minute tabs anywhere.

Quick car titles are an extra $ 50 bucks, but you get it within about 10mins. Bring the title, cash or debit card (ATM available) and your driver license.
The employees were friendly and kept the line moving. Three of them were there on a Saturday afternoon, working hard to get everyone taken care of.
Also, I had no idea people hunted wild turkeys around here, but they do sell licenses for that… and offer brochures on the subject.

I used them in the past for a difficult out of state title issue they helped resolve and I gave them a 4 star review.
However I came in on 11÷15÷13, to get my registration renewed and asked them to contact the lien holder as I had paid off the balance on my vehicle a week before and wanted my new registration to reflect that. She told me I was rude for asking them to contact the lien holder to verify that the loan had been paid off.
I know for a fact they do this, because when I applied for a WA plate out of state they contacted the lien holder to get a copy of the title. However now it is rude to ask them to do what they did a year ago without asking. I took my registration and drove to Woodinville and renewed my registration there.
I downgraded my review to 3 stars after this.
Another reviewer said they were kind and friendly, not my experience this time unfortunately. Probably won’t be back.

Fast, friendly, and efficient service with no line. Handled my Canadian import easily. They also have great hours, open after work hours. They did charge a fee to use a credit card.

Very excited to register my new-​to-​me car brought me back here again today.
Living near (and in) Bothell meant being lucky enough to be near TWO Licensing places (and a driver’s license office to boot until they closed it for all that construction)
Though I will still visit Worthington License in downtown on occassion, over the years the service there has gotten surlier. They’re still good for having better hours than most.
But, here at Canyon Park Licensing, the service has stayed really great. Regardless of the situation I had to deal with (and I’ve had some doozies, itellyouwhat) they are always quick, efficient, helpful.
Ample parking in the large grocery/​strip mall complex.
P. S. To Sean M., review 12÷13÷10−− The name and address are correct here, you just reviewed the wrong location, honey. The one you meant isn’t called «downtown bothell» licensing, it’s called «Worthington Licensing». This business here is actually *called* Canyon Park Licensing. :)
A side note on them accepting credit cards. They DO NOT accept Visa, though they do Master Card. They use a third party affiliate that both charges a fee and limits your transaction amount. ATM in lobby will take your debit or credit for cash, again with fees. Do yourself a favor, bring cash or check

It was the last day of the month and I fell into the category of «loser who waits till the last second to renew their tabs». I dreaded standing in a long line at Canyon Park Licensing since I couldn’t make it until after work at 4:30. I was pleasantly surprised in that I was second in line! :) I got a little hassle from the girl helping me, but when I presented some official documentation (one must always come prepared) she cooled right down and gave me my tabs… well not gave, I paid up the ying-​yang for those things!!! Oh and I was charged $ 2 to use my debit, sad face! I am thankful that I was able to quickly get through my misery though, thanks to Canyon Park Licensing.
Oh, and I don’t know what Sean was talking about, this place is just past Canyon Park, next to Subway and Safeway on Bothell-​Everett Hwy. Not in downtown Bothell.

Someone do us all a favor & change the name to Downtown Bothell Licensing please. This office is NOWHERE NEAR CANYON PARK. Its located one block north of Main Street in downtown Bothell where the 527 splits off from the 522.

Canyon Park Licensing is great. They do just what a good licensing place should do – that is, get me my plates quickly and in a kind and friendly manner.
They do a good job, and for that, they will get more of my money in the future.
