Bridges at Northcreek

I leased with bridges at north creek for a year. It seemed like a reasonable rent amount, until after seeing all the hidden fees and how the office ONLY cared about MONEY and not its RESIDENTS. And yes, I do understand it is their job to make money, but they could at least pretend to care about their residents??? The roommate I leased with, left after three months and took the key fop to the pool/​gym/​etc and the house key. The staff did not care, and even knowing they took it, didn’t try to contact the roommate about it. (We asked because there was a protection order in place). Afterward, my ex roommates crazy girlfriend sent her family to the apartment, and ended up assaulting my boyfriend (who was also leasing, they got in with the ex roommates key and we had never been in contact with these people before at all)
I let the office management know when this happened. They basically shrugged and said «wow that sucks I’m sorry». When I asked if we could get the locks changed because we did not feel safe, they said they would have to charge us and they would give the ex roommate a key as well. They said the only way we could do anything without the ex roommate being involved is if we signed him off the lease, which would have been fine except they were going to charge ME for it. We did contact our local police about the assault. Another instance happened where a woman was stalking our apartment, I politely asked if the office management could have the security guard (who circles around the complex at night) to keep an extra eye on our apartment and they completely declined. They were always very rude and all they care about was the money. Not our safety. Shady people, lots of hidden and extremely expensive fees. They charge monthly for covered parking, every other space is a «free for all» the only way to get a space in the actual complex is if you pay for it. I usually had to park far away down the street, not even in the complex because I worked nights. Even getting home around 8 or 9 there is absolutely NO parking. They also charged for taking our trash, and most of the time they would not take it on the days I was informed they would, I would set the trash out properly, as instructed and it would be left there, and I would see other neighbors having the same problem, but some or neighbors trash WAS taken. When we first moved in we had a lot of problems with appliances. I.e. The dishwasher leaked all over the floor, even after maintenance came to fix it. The kitchen sink was clogged, the washer was CONSTANTLY leaking, we had maintenance come back to fix it three or four times, the shower head in one of the bathrooms was broken, the water pressure when flushing the toilet has always been awful. The water heater is tiny and I often took cold showers. The seal on ALL the windows and the back door were not completely sealed and I constantly had water and dirt flooding in from
All areas. (I was on the bottom floor), the apartment above me had problems with the water tank behind their toilet, which resulted in MY apartment flooding and swelling up the doorway to my bathroom and ruining the vinyl in the bathroom, which is basically a big sticker with print on it. I got my final invoice for the move out and the complex got to keep the «refundable» deposit. I scrubbed the apartment down top to bottom before we left, and it was in very good shape besides the flood damage. I still ended up being charged over $ 1,600. Plus the $ 750 for staying until the 13^th. This place DOES NOT CARE about your well being. ONLY CARE about charging you retarded amounts of money when you could get the SAME exact apartments for HALF or QUARTER of the price. DO. NOT. LEASE HERE.

I stayed here for a few months while visiting Dr. Klinghardt’s clinic. Wow my 1 bedroom suite was very clean and lovely, and pretty quiet as I choose a 3^rd floor unit facing greenbelt (less car and people noise since it’s all trees, although there is dog barking occasionally and leaf blowers). I have sensitive hearing and it was quiet enough for me, the heater in bedroom is so quiet you cannot hear it.
Never had problems with safety and I was never concerned. They have on site security, and hold packages for you at the office if it doesn’t fit in your mailbox. Parking is free and I never had problems finding parking, though you can pay extra for a dedicated parking spot or garage.
Facilities including yoga room, gym room, lounge with free wi-​fi and outdoor BBQ, and outdoor pool (closed during fall/​winter). Garbage and recycle bags are picked up at your doorstep 5 days a week. I initially had problems with the hot water but maintenance quickly came to fix it.
My leasing agent Emy was wonderful in setting me up with my apartment, so professional and super friendly! Thanks again for all your help!

There are many reasons why I will warn you not to move into these apartments. First and foremost, they fail to maintain security or notify you of any security breaches. For example, when mail was getting stolen and they flat out refused to my face to notify the complex. Second is the horrific traffic you will experience on Bothell Everett Hwy. Seriously, don’t purchase on this stretch. Third, the kids playing outside the residence are permitted to play baseball, soccer and whatever other activity that involves hitting your car with objects without any fear of retribution or intervention. I wish I had never moved here.

After viewing many apartments in the Greater Seattle area and finding that incompetency seems to be the norm in leasing offices this place was a gem!
Sandra Hernandez was the leasing consultant that helped us and she was absolutely fantastic! She is a great example of superb customer service: friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and efficient. We told her exactly what we wanted and she found us just that! We got a 2 bed 2 bath 913 sq ft apartment for $ 1528 for a July move-​in. The unit we leased has new carpeting and updated appliances. The application process was quite seamless; we applied in their office online and was approved almost instantaneously. We received emails for our submission of application, receipts, as well as our acceptance of our application; all while we were still sitting in their offices! Easy, painless and efficient; exactly what we wanted. We got everything done in 1 day.
Bridges at Northcreek does have a refer-​a-​friend program in which we both got our application fees ($ 40 per adult) waived as well as a $ 250 credit for the friend that referred us. They also had a «look and lease» special in which you look at a unit of interest and if you lease the same day will waive the security deposit of $ 250. Although the application fees were waived, the leasing office technically still has you pay the fee upfront, but credits it back to your account upon move-​in. So overall, we saved $ 330 when signing up. The only other dollar amount we wrote them upon sign up was for a $ 300 non-​refundable administrative fee.
The property itself is beautiful: well maintained grass areas, lots of parking spaces, clean pool and common area. They do have a gym onsite (open ²⁴⁄₇ for access) that just received updated machines as well as a room they have started yoga classes in if you’re interested in that sort of exercise ($ 12 a class for drop-​in). In the common area, there was also a room dedicated to a children play room that had a TV, toys, desk and chairs. They also have bbq grills you can access all year round with a nice large seating area to entertain guests. Bridges at Northcreek is a 52 acre property away from the noisy street surrounded by trees, with long walking pathways and large grass areas to take your pet out. They are one of the most pet friendly places we’ve encountered with doggie-​bag waste disposals scattered about the property as well as an onsite off leash dog park. This property is ideal for the active pet owners we are. They accept dogs up to 65lb weight limit with a $ 50 monthly pet fee. Since we leased a 2 bedroom unit we received 2 complimentary parking spaces. We do have a third car in which at the time they had specials going with their garages/​carports/​spaces and it was as follows:
1. $ 75/​month garage regular= $ 125/​month
2. $ 20/​month carport regular= $ 30/​month
3. $ 15/​month lot
As far as guest parking it’s first come first serve as far as we were told; although seeing the property for ourselves there was a lot of availability so we are not too worried having visitors. They recently converted their garbage disposal locations into bike racks which is great for those who need the storage. They have personal garbage pickup at your convenience 5 days a week at your unit; if missed they have a valet service. Package retrieval is also great here as they email you a confirmation regarding your parcels and if given permission will deliver inside your unit.
The layout of our 2 bedroom 2 bath unit is fantastic. The second bedroom and bath is on the opposite end of the Master bedroom which is great when we have guests for noise. Large coat closet, master closet and extra patio storage area which can be locked up. The walk-​in closet for the Master bedroom also has built in shelving which is a plus. The living room and dining area are adjacent but cozy for the space (does not feel crammed). There also was a nook with a built in desk tucked in the corner of the dining area with small drawers included. There is no built in lighting available in the living room or the bedrooms so you’ll have to purchase your own lamps. Our unit does have full washer and dryer with a small space available up above for storage.
I will update this review once we move-​in and get settled to see if anything changes. But at first impression, I highly recommend this property and hope the onsite staff continues to satisfy an already happy soon-​to-​be community member.

Really excited to be joining the community here. I am moving in next month and have had a great experience so far. The staff have been really nice and were very helpful in finding just what I was looking for 2 bed, 2 bath. Looks like ample parking and the even have a paw park for my furbabies. I will update after the move in and being here a few months. So far it has been great.

After seeing many negative comments about this apartment, I felt its not fair. So I decided to share my opinions. Many reviews look like they are exceptions and not the norm. I think people come to Unilocal only when they had a bad experience. Fellow residents, please do share your opinions, if you think the older reviews are not fair.
Its been almost a year since we moved to this apartment.
So I think we have a good understanding about this apartment.
While searching for apartments in this area a year ago, we saw lot of apartments that charged more and offered less amenities than this apartment. This to me is the deciding factor. Our apartment flat was renovated when we moved-​in. So everything (including appliances) was new. We are currently staying in 1bed-​1bath apartment. Its spacious enough for 2 adults. But its not recommended for 3 – 4 adults. I did not face any issues with apartment office staff. They were very polite and kind to us every time. I interact with them once in a while when I go to pick-​up my package.
Pros: Although I might has missed some, this is what matters to me most :)
1. It has an impressive GYM. (Vending machine here is pretty cool)
2. I like the swimming pool here. Its clean and well maintained.
3. All payments (Rent, Water Bill, Electricity Bill etc) can be done online.
4. Any maintenance issues can be raised online. Their response is pretty quick.
5. You will get an e-​mail when a package has arrived for your apartment.
6. It has long and lovely walking stretch for those who want to take a quick stroll.
7. Quite far away from the main road. So no vehicle noises (except ambulance :)
8. Trash pick-​up at your doorstep for 5 days a week.
9. Nearby: Bus Stop, Safeway, Fred-​Meyer, Indian stores etc.
Cons: This is what bothers me most.
1. Sound of people walking upstairs.
2. Trespassing occurs occasionally. (3 times so far… esp during start of winter)
3. Beware of how to take care of the kitchen counter top. I was charged $ 300 despite taking good care of our kitchen counter top. Residents must be educated on how to take proper care of the kitchen counter tops while checking-​in.

I lived at The Bridges At North Creek for a year before moving to Chicago. My stay was very comfortable the staff was very nice always with a smiling face and a greeting. It has a very nice pool and gym, yoga room. Especially the gym is superb. They have a very nice sitting area with coffee maker, cookies and wi fi and a indoor play area for kids with nice toys. It comes under North Shore School District. Bridges has beautiful, green surroundings and two outdoor play areas for kids, property is well cared for. Location of apartments is superb there is Safeway, Fred Meyer, Starbucks, USPS, an Indian Grocery Store, restaurants etc. all within walking distance.
The people from leasing office Bill, Auti, Martha are all very helping. Auti is simply amazing. Work orders are attended on the same day. They have 4 – 5 get togethers in a year.
Only drawback i would say is the size of units is very small. But the apartments are newly remodeled with brand new appliances. All in all an excellent place to live.

Heads up for prospective tenants. My company set me up with temporary living here. Within two weeks my apartment was cased and robbed. My apartment was cleaned on a Friday while I was away, which I did not want, then it was cleaned out the next day.
They climbed up the outside wall facing the green space, got on the balcony and then entered through the second floor window. They took my luggage and filled it with anything of value, computer, watch, iPod and several other things.
I became frustrated when I started asking around and handing out fliers and the office staff became frustrated and removed my fliers. They stated that this has never happened which the officer that responded told me that it had, frequently.
The staff at the office would not give me the information about the cleaning service for follow up either.
So, if you move in enjoy your stay.
I had insurance.
If a salesperson comes to your door be certain to get all of their information, they are most likely just checking to see if anyone is home.

I like the layout of these apartments. I’ve seen some troubled youth come from here. Last year one of them went next door to my apartment and decided to slash tires and key my truck. The kid has some big «issues». He got kicked out after keying other vehicles and slashing tires in Northcreek. I see alot of facilities not working here when I visit. The movie theater specifically is usually trashed. The price isn’t too bad, but I don’t like all the kids walking to safeway next door and yelling late at night and leaving trash everywhere. These types of kids are typical with lower income apartments, but I choose to pay more and avoid the chaos by living somewhere else. When you walk through the woods to go to safeway it’s annoying to walk through large groups of loitering and weed smoking kids. Overall it isn’t horrible but if you have the cash there are better places to live.

The apartments are beautiful. I love the newly remodeled floorplans: however, the office seemed to busy. Bill was great. He showed me around and was very responsive the others acted nice and concerned but never really followed through with what they said they would do. Mind you, it was only an application I filled out about a week ago. I sent it in and paid the fees but never heard a call back. I called and left a message once, no call back. I called again and no answer so finally I just drove to the office and asked them what the status was. It seems as if my application was pending and a phone call needed to be made somewhere. The lady stated that because they are in the East Coast it would be too late to call. I would rather call in the morning so that I don’t have to wait a whole hour. I said that was fine and I would wait for her call. No call so I called back this morning and the person was not available. Too many red flags for me so I called back and asked for my money back. 4 stars to their great floor plan – bravo but the service needs improvement. Perhaps hire more people or promote Bill! :)
Update: 4.25.14. Auti called me back and made it a little better. I still had to wait and did most of the foot work but at least she called me back and was willing to work with me. I will up it from 2 stars to 3 stars. Customer service counts in my book and effort should be rewarded :)
Another Update 4.25.14 Auti from the Leasing Office really bent backwards for me today and I have decided to give them another chance. :) I will up it from 3 stars to 4 stars because I was pretty impressed with her. She was a great big help. Should all work out in the end and I actually do move in to this place and I happen to love it, I will up it to 5 stars lol. :) Maybe they are just under staffed?

Let me first say I was torn between 3 stars being «a-​ok» and 4 being «yay! I’m a fan» only because I literally just moved in this month. I did however read the negative reviews below and felt the need to defend the complex.
The staff is very nice and helpful and hand held us through the way. You get what you pay for. People should not complain about price since they agreed to it from the get go. You are more than welcome to pick an apartment in Everett for a lot less that offers a lot less.
For the nice pool and THE BEST gym I’ve ever seen for an apartment, I think the price is fair. Apartments everywhere now have pet rent so lets get with the times. How many apartments offer the beautiful trails for walking your pet on? Also, we looked at the apartment down the street from them near the fire station and their rent was higher and offered a lot less than what Bridges offered.
Also, apartments are a great location for car prowlers to go to because of the «wide selection.» This is out of the apartments contol so maybe consider a car alarm or cleaning the car out. Just like tlhese crooks, they also do not have control over other peoples children or how loudly the neighbors walk upstairs. So lets rank them on what they deserve to be ranked on.
Lastly, a few of these one star rankings still had good things to say so these people may be too harsh. How can you say something nice and still rank them the lowest?
I’ve had a great moving in experience so far and will rank them again a year from now.
