Love this cozy shop which contains all kinds of surprisingly affordable treasures. No, they are not all antiques, and there are a few too many tea sets for my liking, but there are some really nice finds in here. and despite the address, it’s actually not too pricey. You’ll find the usual generic, overpriced art work mixed in with a few lovely prints and paintings. You’ll find old photographs of family reunions next to a still life done in rich oil paints. Some nice furniture but this is earthy, country style– nothing high end. There’s sterling silver mixed in with silver plate, nice quality lamps and some divine scented candles. The space meanders way into the back of the building so keep on going. You may find just what you need. Worth a look if you are a collector or just poking around hoping to find the perfect item for your mother in law’s next birthday or an old friend’s wedding.

I’m a repeat purchaser here. Look for good deals(no, really, I KNOW it’s Charles Street, but really…) on tables and lamps. Also an occasional decorative doo dad. Mostly traditional wares, but I’ve given myself the challenge of a doing my new place in a well edited mix of high and low, modern and not, a la Elle Décor, while doing the reduce/reuse/recycle thing and all on the cheap. This place works!
