Spent a few hours reading here to escape the cold rain. Good service, only wish there was more space for tables and comfortable seating

Used to love this Starbucks. Just witnessed the barista ¼ fill my iced coffee, then pour water in it to make up the difference. If I wanted watered down coffee, I’d go to Dunkin Donuts. Won’t return.

Very disappointed in the quality of the product I received at my visit to this Starbucks. I ordered a spinach feta wrap(my favorite) and a peach green tea lemonade. The café was busy, so I was surprised to get my breakfast wrap before my beverage was ready. As I was waiting for my drink, I took a bite of the wrap and realized it was cold. I touched the middle of the wrap and it was very cold, so I brought the wrap back up and asked the barista if she could make me a new one. The baristas did make me a new wrap, but the next wrap I received was very overcooked and barely edible. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice this until I got into the car and drove away. I may go down the street to the Starbucks in Washington Square next time.

Super kind! I accidentally spilled my green tea latte all over the window and the floor but they not only cleaned the mess for me but also gave me a new green tea latte. I’ll be loyal to this Starbucks from now on: D

Great customer service! Drinks were made in a timely manner. The staff members were polite. It was crowded, a lot of customers had smiles on their faces. Looks like a great place to study for the local colleges. Overall it was a good experience!

I like this Starbucks a lot, actually. I know one can argue that they are all exactly the same, but I will be the first to say that this is NOT true. Most are great, some are better, and a rare few are superior. This Starbucks falls in the happy medium between great and superior. This Starbucks location is a perfect example of the company’s mission to be a «third place» for people. That is somewhere that is not home and is not work. Each and every time I come to this Starbucks, it packed with students and young professionals, all alike in the fact that they are working diligently and socializing eagerly. There is such a community feel here that some may see as distracting but I see as inspiring. The energy at this Starbucks is contagious, and I would love to be a part of the hype while enjoying one of my favorite espresso drinks.

They have improved quite a lot in terms of customer service since my last review, so kudos on that! Now they are a run-of-the mill Starbucks, with which there is nothing wrong in my book.

It’s a Starbucks — you get pretty much exactly what you’d expect from a Starbucks. The staff are usually great, and they do a decent job getting through the lines(which can be pretty crazy busy at times) quickly. There’s a decent amount of seating, but it can be almost impossible to actually GET one of those seats except for later in the evening and during the middle of the day on weekdays. Forget about weekends. Certainly not their fault — it’s a busy location — but if you’re like me and you’d like to camp out with work and slowly sip away at your tea/coffee/beverage, you’ll need to time it right for table access. That said, it’s great over the summer when all the college kids are away, and there’s the other location further up Beacon near Washington Square that’s usually less crowded if you’re looking for a nearby alternative. Parking in front is metered(free on Sundays), but a couple blocks down the street is free 2 hour parking.

This Starbucks is huge. It was also incredibly busy when we went there. The line wrapped around the store. They were really good at moving people through as fast as possible, but still it was really long. So overall there’s nothing wrong with this Starbucks, it’s also doesn’t stand out among Starbucks locations.

I’m never going to this Starbucks location again. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato, as I didn’t want any of the things they had brewing. I have no idea what the barista did to my drink, but it tasted awful. I saw milk, espresso, and caramel sauce go in, but I think there might have also been caramel syrup mixed in at the bottom. Oof, it was terrible. So, be careful!

Not that bad. The staff was competent. The location is excellent, right in Cleveland Circle, there is a shortage of charging spots to be able to plug in your electonics while you enjoy your goodies.

It hasn’t improved at all since I first came in. I really don’t understand this«two cashiers one barista» strategy ATALL. The manager really can’t figure out what’s wrong with that? So you wait 1 minute to order and then 15 minutes for a drink. And if they mess up your drink — which they frequently do — you have to wait again, so you’ll probably end up walking away with a lousy drink just so you can finely get out of there. Am I the only one who remembers when Starbucks was known for quality coffee beans and really good coffee and coffee drinks? Now they make milkshakes. The baristas don’t know the slightest thing coffee or how to operate an espresso machine, and there’s just a limited selection of vacuum packed beans. So I guess this mediocre location really indicates the direction the whole chain is going.

Oh hello, beautiful new Starbucks. I always get excited when a new Sbucks appears. This location is a bit small compared to the Washington Square location which definitely has more room for lounging and studying. However, they have a cool bar seating area and some unusual and interesting light fixtures. When I visited on a Thursday night around 9 the place had a relaxed vibe with some students studying, some chatting and others just enjoying a beverage. The staff person who took our order was very friendly. I will definitely be back. This location is super convenient to the Cleveland Circle stop and is very fresh and clean.

I realize that Starbucks have been around for a while, but that doesnt mean a new location doesnt have it’s kinks. This place opened up not too long ago, so before I go and nit-pick every flaw. I’ll give it a month or two to figure out what works best for them and give my review an update :) First off, like most Starbucks, this place needs a clear sign that tells ppl where the line is starting. After I ordered my drink and was at the end waiting for it, 2 people came behind me to ask if I was in line. I politely told them it started at the other end. Whiel it was common sense to me, since it’s right where you walk in and it makes sense that the end of the line is where you pick up your drink. but common sense is something of the past. The barista’s were really nice and my drink came out quick. one complaint and I should have mentioned it there, but my drink, an iced green tea… could have, SHOULD have had more green tea, there was an inch of bubbles from shaking… if it were not so hot today and I hadnt been walking and pushing a stroller for 40 mins, I would have, but I needed that refreshing drink in my belly QUICK! There are plenty of seats, but once school starts in the fall, I can see this location filling up quickly. Hopefully they can work out their kinks before the fall and this will be great. the location is ideal and I’ve honestly been waiting for one to open in this area of town.

So, I’m a coffee addict. For years now I have eyed the depressing strip of stores and delis(yes, there are icons among them, no doubt, but still…), and addressed my prayers to the Coffee Gods: «legend has it that there must be a Starbucks on every corner… is it the fact that the name of the place has a „circle“ in it that prevents you from bringing a small java oasis to our land??» I was oh-so-excited for this location to open! I mean, it’s right across from the office, and closer to home than the Washington Square location. Exactly what so many Starbucks addicts in the ‘hood need. So, what they got right is the location. What they need LOTS of work on is service! I’ve had to wait for my latte to be made for way too long, even when I was the first(and only one) in line. Having two cashiers and one [inexperienced, by the looks of it] barista just doesn’t work for them. And forget getting outta there with a hot drink in less than 15 minutes if there’s even a small line; people have been waiting for two sbx workers to turn around and greet them in vain, and when their order is finally processed, their hot drinks come out cold(I’ve witnessed people complaining about it, and have had to bring my coffee home and stick it in the microwave, not because it got cold on the way, but because it was cold to begin with). We were told to «order our drinks extra hot» for that not to be a problem. Uhm… I’ve never had to order an extra hot drink before, and Wash. Sq. always makes mine hot enough. Why start now? Finally, the attitude. There may be two people on their staff that smile and look friendly. The rest of the crew looks like they’d rather be pushing papers at the RMV. Not that Starbucks cares, of course, but for now — two stars from me. Go get some tips from your friendly, efficient, knowledgeable peers @ the Washington Square location.
