Socelvic Company

I just had completed an exterior painting and exterior carpentry job with Socelvic Company. This is a family owned operation, with owner/​founder Celio Vicente personally evaluating and monitoring he project. I have a home in Newton that is 16 years old. It was painted by Socelvic 11 years ago. When it was time to repaint and replace some trim, (damaged by the worst snowy winter), I called Celio and he called me back in less than an hour, was at my house to do an estimate within a week by appointment, and started the job after I approved the written proposal immediately. That is correct, the crew showed up on the day and time they promised, and stayed to complete the work in less than a two week period allowing for a couple of bad weather days. The quality of the prep, including powerwashing, scraping, sanding, and caulking/​filling was impressive. The crews arrive, protect the work area, and clean up every day. The work is perfect and it is a pleasure to not worry. He used super premium C2 pain on my request, which is not that easy to find, but has better longevity and a rich appearance. Celio was happy to get and use whatever products would give the best end result. Equally important was my experience as a woman he gave me the most respect of any contractor that I have worked with. His office manager, Ana, is also very nice and prompt with scheduling and invoices. I only wish that every other contactor or service provider for my home could be as wonderful. I had peace of mind, which is priceless. When I think of SOCEL (Socelvic) painters, I actually smile! I must say to end this review that I may have paid a smidge more for the work than some others charge, but the quality remains long after the price is forgotten. I can wholeheartedly recommend SOCEL, (Socelvic) for exterior house painting and light carpentry work. I will always call Celio when I need any painting, but hopefully, and based on my last experience, that won’t be for a long time thanks to the highest quality and super warranty.
