Sinsheimer & Associates is a litigation firm built on over 30 years of trial experience that provides full client services in an array of complex litigation matters, including criminal defense. The founder, Robert S. Sinsheimer, opened this firm with an eye towards providing the highest quality legal services while maintaining the personal touch that each and every client deserves.

Business Owner

The firm’s founder Robert S. Sinsheimer opened Sinsheimer and Associates in 1990. Rob’s multi-​faceted background allows him to bring a unique perspective to litigation.

In 1984 Rob joined the Law firm of Gilman, McLaughlin and Hanrahan. As a senior associate he concentrated in personal injury and white collar criminal matters. In 1987, Rob joined Dangel and Sherry a firm which concentrated in catastrophic products liability, and toxic torts. In 2002, Rob defended an individual charged with 36 counts of mail fraud and mortgage fraud in Federal Court. The client was completely exonerated.

Rob has taught at Suffolk University Law School and Boston University Law School. Rob has also served as President of the Frank J. Murray Inn of Court, an organization of Judges and Lawyers devoted to enhancing and increasing civility in civil litigation. He is a member of the Massachusetts Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Boston Bar, and many other professional associations.
