Meet the Business Owner

Anthony S.

Business Owner

Sage Restaurant, located in Boston’s South End neighborhood, is a new venture for Chef Anthony Susi. Who transplanted his old North End location where he grew up and where his passion for cooking began.

His culinary career took him through the kitchens of Davide in Boston Chef Susi traveled to Italy to discover Italian cooking in his parents’ hometown of Sulmona in the Abruzzi region. On to San Francisco, in the kitchens of Campton Place Hotel

Susi’s culinary career began to evolve at Olives where he diligently worked under Chef Todd English for over two years. Ever eager to refine his culinary artistry; at Restaurant Zinc is where Susi absorbed refined French cooking styles.

Sage Restaurant has received many accolades both locally and nationally; Boston Magazine, Boston Globe, The New York Times, Gourmet Magazine, Travel & Leisure

Chef Susi has developed a passion to prepare food that is modern and experimental yet still delivering it in an approachable style.
