I first saw Jimmy and Anya in action at my friend’s wedding three years ago. As one of the first weddings of our friend group, we were novices to say the least. When I brought the dress into the venue, all of us girls crowded around to look in awe. None of us wanted to touch the dress and we weren’t quite sure what to do with it… finally someone said «um…Anya, you’re around wedding dresses often… what should we do?.» She instantly jumped into action with an «okay ladies! Let’s get this dress out of the bag!» Right there and then, I knew if I ever got married, I wanted her with me snapping photos
When the time came and I was engaged, we were anxious to get Prudente Photography booked. I had heard many friends’ and acquaintances’ horror stories about photographers. We knew we could count on Jimmy and Anya to be professional, dependable and take AMAZING photos. The memories and details of the day fades, what you have left are the pictures! I wanted to make sure ours were awesome.
We picked a package with engagement sessions included. It really helped to calm our nerves and get to know Jimmy and Anya as a team. My husband and I are FAR from models but Jimmy and Anya made us feel comfortable and confident in our own skin. What I liked most was if something didn’t look right, one of them would pipe up and ask us to move left, pop that hip or raise your chin. To me, that makes all the difference.
Their beautiful pictures speak for themselves and they are worth every penny. Honestly, to have them faded into the background on our special day made some of the craziness fade away.

I cannot say enough good things about Jimmy and Anya! They are such an amazing duo and truly made my big day complete! They are unique and think outside the box. They were not invasive and truly very candid. I could not have asked to spend my day with a better couple. They’re the best!

Jimmy and Anya are very talented photographers who did an amazing job photographing our wedding. When we were interviewing photographers, some showed us photographs they had from our same venue (some with 15+ years of experience), and honestly we weren’t impressed at all… but when Jimmy and Anya showed us theirs, they were full of color, the shots they got were full of life and really showcased both the couples and the venue. When we got our photos back we were so impressed even though we saw their work before. Definitely would suggest them to anyone looking for a photographer.

Jimmy and Anya from Prudente Photography are no short of amazing. The entire process working with them was perfect from the start. For our engagement photos, they drove all the way out to Amherst, MA just to get pictures at the place we met. And those pictures were plentiful and beautiful. For they actual wedding, they had our timeline down, knew exactly where to be and when, and everything ran smoothly. Our pictures were ready for us in one short month and were absolutely perfect. Their work is so creative and really captured our relationship and all the little details we worked so hard on. We had almost 1000 photos from the whole night which allowed us to relive our wedding. We have already spent hours looking at them over and over again. If you choose to work with Jimmy and Anya, you won’t be disappointed.

I can’t say enough good things about Anya and Jimmy. First of all, since they are a husband-​and-​wife duo, they totally understand your wedding day from the bride and groom’s POV. They made the wedding photography process so fun and comfortable. We had lots of laughs which I loved because your wedding is joyous and they captured those feelings. Further, Anya and Jimmy are both so nice and so wonderful at their job. Our engagement pictures were beautiful and our wedding pictures are just outstanding. I’ve had many friends (who used different photographers) and were very disappointed in those photographers because they only liked a few of their pictures from the whole day. What a shame. I can’t imagine because we are obsessed with hundreds of our pictures! Also their prices are incredibly reasonable, especially for the Boston area. If you want beautiful wedding pictures that you will adore for the rest of your life, then you should definitely use Prudente.

Jimmy and Anya are truly the best! Both our engagement photos and our wedding photos are unbelievably beautiful. When my husband and I first met Jimmy and Anya, it was as if we had known each other for years! They have amazing personalities-​which was something we had been looking for in our wedding photographers. We wanted someone who could ease our nerves, since we had never been professionally photographed before and someone who would make us feel comfortable and they did just that!
On our wedding day they spent the entire day with us, Anya started the day at the salon with me and my girls and Jimmy started the day at the hotel that my husband was staying at. They didn’t leave until our final dance was over! Jimmy and Anya made us laugh the whole time-​which I loved-​they were amazing all day! We had many many compliments about how wonderful they were and how beautiful our Photos are!
The day we picked up our photos, they invited us over to their home where we spent a couple hours talking and cracking up just like old friends! The wedding slideshow they put together for us made me cry and still does when I watch it! This meeting was bittersweet for us, we loved them so much and we didn’t want our time together to end! Good thing they offer family portrait sessions for when we start our family!

Jimmy and Anya = as good as it gets. They are a creative, calming, and super supportive duo! They made our wedding day feel like magic and the pictures they captured look like something out of a magazine. Anya and Jimmy, what a dream team! From the very beginning, Anya and Jimmy were pleasant, reliable and always ready to answer our questions. They did an awesome job with our engagement pictures so we knew that our wedding photos would be epic. And epic they were. One of our friends said that our wedding pictures were the best he’d ever seen in life. They were present on our wedding day from morning till night. How fabulous was that? They knew when to take control and offered advice when necessary. They captured the most beautiful sunset that evening and even got an amazing night shot. We love, love, love Anya & Jimmy!

I can honestly say that without Jimmy and Anya our wedding would not have been complete. They met my wife at 8 am to make sure she had coverage of every special moment and they exceeded any expectation would could have asked for. Besides their professionalism they both display an incredible pride in their craft and being at your wedding seems to be a happy time for them. They are inviting, good hearted people who in crunch time will do anything to help. For example when my wife’s limo picked them up the driver was dead set that the girls couldn’t fit their dresses in the limo and someone would have to take them separately, but before the wife could have a meltdown Jimmy and Anya jumped up and offered to drive the dresses in their car to the venue (which was an hour away). Besides their willingness to go above an beyond I have to say that the quality of their work is majestic and when Jimmy and Anya are behind the camera at your wedding just know that you are in the best hands. If their is ever a big event in life we would need a photography team for it will always be Prudente Photography… Thank you again Jimmy and Anya for helping make our day perfect!

We are so happy we chose to work with Jimmy & Anya for our special day! From the first time I spoke with Jimmy over the phone, I knew we were in good hands — they are true professionals! We have never been comfortable being the center of attention, let alone having thousands of photos taken of us, but our shoots were fun, stress-​free, and we left feeling confident. All emails and phone calls were responded to very quickly, we felt the price for their services was beyond fair and reasonable, the quality and insight of their photos is impeccable, and honestly, they were just a true pleasure to work with! They will be our Go-​To photographers for all major life events from here forward!

The Prudentes are absolutely awesome! Jimmy and Anya’s work shown on their website caught our eye not to mention, they are affordable so we were already interested, but skeptical,. This husband and wife team have great chemistry and skill working together. When we first met with them, we could feel their warmth and honesty, not trying to hustle us or «sell» themselves. The complimentary engagement session was a great experience too and the pics came out amazing! Due to my schedule, they were very flexible in rebooking our engagement session two weeks before our wedding. Wedding day came along and DID THEY DELIVER! We had an abnormally long day due to it being an Asian American wedding and the Prudentes were in step the whole time. In the beginning of the day, Jimmy was with my (now) husband getting ready and Anya with me. From about 7am til midnite they worked flawlessly and never miss a beat. What little down time they had, they even would go off on their own using their imagination to create wonderful pics with our rings, my dress, the favors, etc. They even made a short slideshow from the ceremonies earlier in the day and played it during the Chinese banquet in the evening for us and guests to see. They will definitely make it a priority to make this YOUR day and have memorable pics to share for the rest of your lives. They can either take the reigns, use their imagination, and make suggestions (which thankfully they did for us, due to the craziness:) and also listen and do whatever is it you are asking of them with no hesitation. They are great listeners. They are VERY easy-​going and fun! Their calm, professional demeanor exudes and sets the tone for the rest of the day. I could go on all day about the amazing work they do but I dont think I need to with the details, there are so many. We do not have a single complaint about the work they did. Jimmy and Anya definitely have a passion for their work and aim to please. Thank you again!

Prudente photography is the best!!! Jimmy and Anya were our go to people during our wedding. Our photos are absolutely amazing! We couldn’t be more happy with the photography services.

I have used Prudente Photography three times and could not be happier with the results.
The first session was for me, my two best friends, and our three young daughters. Anya and Jimmy were very accommodating with scheduling as my friends traveled from Arizona and Hong Kong. We were all impressed with how well they worked with the children to keep them comfortable and smiling. We took photos inside and they were even willing to do unplanned outside shots on a freezing cold day. All three moms were completely wowed with the resulting images.
Next, I needed a head shot for work. This was a pretty simple and straight forward project but again, I was really happy with the resulting images.
Finally, I scheduled a shoot for my family of four in October. I was unable to keep the date and again Anya and Jimmy were very accommodating with my schedule changes. We did this shoot at a local orchard and I absolutely LOVE the shots. They made sure to take individual images of each child, the two together, several different family poses as well as individual pictures of my husband and myself and ones of us together. Several friends asked how they got the kids to smile so authentically. We have a huge assortment of pictures to give as Christmas gifts.
I know that their website may look like they just do wedding pictures, but they do much more. I love my wedding photos, they pale in comparison to the weddings shots I see on their blog.
In short, I would highly recommend Prudente Photography whatever your photography needs.
