History
Established in 2003.
While living in Jamaica Plain Kevin realized there was a niche to fill in the exclusive urban residential remodeling contracting field. Many of Kevin’s first clients were former college friends who found it difficult to locate reliable, skilled, and reasonably priced, general contractors, urban contractors, and renovators. In 2003 Plattypus, LLC was incorporated to fill that niche. Kevin has had a long term relationship with his Forman-builder, carpenters, laborers and sub-contractors. All are uniquely qualified and experienced in urban remodeling. While Plattypus, LLC does the majority of its work in Boston’s Historic neighborhoods, Kevin and his crew don not mind traveling out to the suburbs to get a little fresh air.
