Free with BUID. It’s a great place to check out some creative photographs. They are well presented and maintained. Definitely worth checking out.

The PRC has been a source of inspiration for me for more than 30 years. I have recently found the educational programs to be very helpful in my development as a photographer. The exhibits are always well worth seeing. The website is full of good information including NEO with a featured photographer every month:

I’m not just giving this place 5 stars because it is Non-Profit and I am a nice lady… this place is a really nice addition to the art scene in Boston and should be frequented by you people more often. A BUID gets you in for free, and the shows are typically very creative… well… for photography.

The PRC is awesome. I get in free with my BUID, and I can just wander around and look at the weird photography. It’s nice to check this place out during strange hours, in between classes or whatnot, because it’s usually pretty empty and you can just stare at each photo without worrying about crowds of people behind you. My favorite exhibit was about advertising, and one of the displays was canvas paintings that somebody had ordered of photographs they took of objects they purchased from Sky Mall magazine.

I was here for the first and only time last spring to see the«New England Survey» exhibit. The exhibit and the space were both very enjoyable, and I regret not having spent more time there while living in Boston.
