The wait staff was very attentive, but the food was only so so. I thought they made the beef and broccoli a little too sweet. I liked the pan fried dumplings, but my kids didn’t like them as much. I got the orange chicken and it was only OK. My wife got a gluten free meal with shrimp that was actually quite tasty. I wish I had gotten that. To me it just seemed more like a fast food sort of Chinese place and not anything spectacular. I also went to Ichiban up the street a few days prior and that was great, if you like Japanese!

Great food and service. The bartenders make great drinks and food came appropriately, managers always check on tables to ensure quality service. Definitely a location to visit. Mongolian beef is one of the best dishes along with the chicken soup. Very clean area and great choice of music. The sushi is also very fresh, lobster avocado roll is definetely something to try.

I can’t tell you how the food is because we sat and waited for 15 minutes for a server to come by. Not one of the four servers stopped at our table. When my husband actually tried to flag down a waiter they seemed to have disappeared all of a sudden. Patrons that were seated before us still had their menus. The hostess walked by three times and stared at our table as if wondering why I was staring at her. At that point we just got up and left and on the way out the same hostess said, «Bye!» Yeah never stepping foot in this place: they clearly don’t know that restaurants need customers who actually need to be waited on and served.

This was the worst Chang’s experience in my entire life, and I’ve gone to many locations countless times. Food was undercooked and generally disgusting even on the second time around, waitstaff was moody/defensive, kitchen was slow, and two other tables immediately next to us had issues. One of these included telling Erin«This is terrible» quite directly. It’s also very loud– and I don’t mean the people. Turn down the music so people can hear each other. I’m in my 20s and appreciate music but that was just too loud. Avoid this location– there is a great one only a mile away at Boylston! We ended up ordering take-out at that location(which is in walking or T distance) while still waiting for our check at this horrific location. In the end we got our delicious Chang’s Spicy Chicken… but it wasn’t here. The music was too loud for anyone to hear me making this order though. ;)

Staying Marriott Copley, one of my kids was tired Christmas shopping so ordered to go. Asked if relatively healthy spicy dish. «Mongolian beef substituting with chicken» I was told. I said«great, chicken not breaded or fried?», I asked. «No». Seems like it was skinny strips of chicken deep fried yesterday for lunch. Inedible and tough as I imagine shoe leather to be. Kids said«worst sweet and sour chicken I’ve had.»…but he ate it. Other would not eat dumplings that he usually eats, but he is 9 and could be just too tangy. Very disappointed with my meal.

WYD??? A bunch of us came here to have a birthday dinner for my friend and not only did it take over 1 hour for our food to come, but the waiter screwed up a couple of the orders too. The taste, I admit, was pretty good but I could find this decent quality elsewhere. Above all else, I just couldn’t stand the waiter presented no professionalism and was obviously struggling with a poor mentality. What you doing???

I am basing this review solely off the eye candy bartender. Good drinks and SMOKIN’ HAWT!!! Had that cute Mass accent that makes me swoon too. Had he not been working, had I not been exhausted, and had I been braver– look out!

Horrible horrible food, this coming from a 20 year PF Chang customer… a once proud chain gone the way of red lobster or even worse… remade sand bagged good that’s incorrect and cold when it comes to you… Almost…inedible

I usually like this chain but my experience here was a total disaster. I went there while attending a conference. My lunch break was 1.5 hours and the lunch was brought to our table 1 hr and 20 minutes after the order was placed. As a result, I was late for the afternoon session and missed out one some critical material. Not cool.

Let me start out by saying I love PF Changs. My hotel was nearby this location so I ordered take out. It took them a little while to find someone to take my order but once they did all was fine. They said it’d be about 25 mins so I asked for a glass of water while I waited. Although the waitress said that’d be no problem and she would give me one I never received one. After finally receiving my food and quickly going up to my room I noticed I was not given lettuce or sauce for my lettuce wraps. I got redressed and went back down to the restaurant got my lettuce and was told«well you should’ve double checked.» Good food, bad service.

Went here for a friends birthday. So not impressed. Food was sub-par and we waited over an hour. Waiter was consistently MIA and drinks were never refilled despite asking three times. Not given set ups or napkins until several minutes after food was there also ignored by waitstaff while trying to ask for setups. We had made a reservation. Had drinks and it was a large party with a high bill and we were pretty much ignored. Promised complimentary soup and weren’t given it. 3 out of 7 dishes came out 15 min earlier than the others. Would not return. To make matters worse, friends card was«declined» but she was actually charged three times ANDPAIDINCASH. Was very displeased and angry!

Some really nice bartenders downstairs at the bar but I have two complaints: 1. The upstairs kitchen has no communication with the downstairs bartender so they have to «go check» to see if your food is ready and it often comes out cold or late when eating at the bar. They also even joke about it downstairs. 2. The taps are almost always funky. Stick to bottled beers. This has happened several times. Ok chain food. Nice bartenders. Bad taps. Bad communication between levels. My diagnosis: bad general management.

Out of bud light and other domestics. Server was new, but not bad. It just seems that nobody cares down in Boston. Food was not great, like Chinese take out.

They get 2 stars because they are nice. Service was a joke. Food was sub par. Half the table finished their food before the other half of the tables food arrived. It’s pretty bad.

AMERICANIZEDCHINESEFOOD is what I would describe their food. It’s not authentic chinese food and I think that’s why Americans love this place. Trust me, the food is delicious! But it’s not someplace I would recommend if you want real chinese food. Keep in mind that it’s family style! One entrée is probably enough to feed two people! Though I always get as many entrees as there are people so I can try a variety of dishes! Quick service and very friendly! Drinks are not bad either! I would get the asian pear mojito or the margherita. Steer away from the coconut rum. Maybe it was the bartender, but the drink was so watery and pretty much flavorless. The mapo tofu is actually really good. The pepper beef is also super flavorful. Both dishes are very heavy on the soy sauce so pair it up with rice otherwise it’s super salty. They have brown rice and healthy options if you’re trying to watch your figure ;) LASTLY, for my friend’s birthday, they gave us a free slice of cheesecake! It was so sweet! AND they sang happy birthday to us!

This is still a bizarre chain, but a good choice for a quick lunch with a pint. So, I like this location — close enough to the Hynes Convention Center to walk there — but far enough to avoid crowds of sales people. It is a good place for a quick lunch as long as one doesn’t expect a gourmet meal.

Pros: + Tasty food + Convenient location + Plenty of places nearby to wait Cons: — Pretty expensive for the quality and portion size — Bathroom could be cleaner — Usually there is a wait Came here with my fiancée for dinner at 6pm on Sunday. We didn’t have reservations, so there was a 30 minute wait. This was fine for us — we went over to Barnes and Noble to hang out. This PF Chang’s is located inside the Prudential Center, and so is B&N, so we never had to I outside. The greeter and servers were all courteous and efficient. The bathroom could have been cleaner — the floor was sticky. We ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and the Mongolian beef. The chicken and beef were both flavorful. We are both Chinese and wary of westernized Chinese food, but we both liked the food here, especially the Mongolian beef. The food isn’t bad, but it is pretty expensive and comes in small portions. For example, the Mongolian beef is $ 16 and we definitely got no more than 16 pieces of beef(it was mostly green onions). We were still hungry afterwards but decided not to order any more food because of the relatively high per unit cost.

our favorite date night restaurant! The cocktails are always amazing. Sometimes they do a 2 for 30(or close to that) dinner which is always the best deal and so delicious! The chicken lettuce wrap appetizer is so good it’s scary and sometimes I just get it as my entrée! Mongolian beef is delish along with every other entrée I’ve tried. No complaints. Ever.

I went today with a party of 13 people. It was my first time at the place, the food was great and the portions were generous, but the service was despicable. First the server, a tall young blond male(who by the way seemed a bit scruffy) greeted us whit bad manners, i asked for separate checks and he started lecturing me with all the reasons why giving us individual checks was such a burden for him, then he suggested to split the check in two wich made no sense. He dissapeared and came back for drinks orders, i suggested, since he took so long and everyone was ready to order, that he took the food order at that time. I was scolded and told he would do things as he saw fit, making again the point of us being such a big group. When the time for the check came, we were charged 18% gratuity but it indicated we could either increase or decrease the gratitude as we wished. We decided to cut off a percentage of the tip as protest for the bad service. He then had the nerve to chase me all the way into prudential, and started saying that i had to pay him gratuity, i had to hear all sorts of stories, ranging from«you have to pay me because that’s my only salary» to «i have a little kid i have to feed» I think this was a tacky way to approach the situation, on top of it he told me i had to understand i had communication issues because i was not american, and when i was payong him his full gratuity so he would shut up, he said he didn’t want change, that coins are garbage and he would just toss them to the trash can if we gave him any small change. Seriously if he was so desperate for feeding his son as for to beg for a gratuity he didn’t deserve, at least he could’ve shown some willingness to do his job, and some respect for his customers. I wish i could give a name but he had no badge and refused to give it to me. NEVERCOMINGBACKAGAIN
