Natural Glow

This place is amazing. I’ve had a ton of spray tans in various cities that I’ve lived in and wanted to find somewhere great in Boston. This was the first place I went and it will be my last. They work with you to find the perfect shade EVERY time. I have asked them to change the color depending on the time of year and the occasion and they always get it right the first time. I highly, highly recommend this place. Everyone will think you just spent a week on the beach. No one has ever suspected it was a spray tan – Boston’s best kept secret!

I would say I am a spray tan & airbrush tan pro. I have been to many different salons in DC and New York City and I just recently moved to Boston. I was recommended, by a friend, to go to Natural Glow — she was right! They are very thorough in asking you the type of color you want and how dark you want to be. The overall process was wonderful and my tan is natural and fabulous. I will 100% be going back!!!

My first experience at glow was today and so far so good. The girl who sprayed me was very nice. Prices are good and overall definitely positive.

I’ve been to Natural Glow twice in the past month, and I am in love. Coming from strong Cherokee lineage, I unfortunately picked up every recessive trait making me look like someone tossed bleach in my gene pool. NO MORE. I’ve gotten a medium base with medium/​light coverage on my face, and it’s completely natural looking.
Both Sarah and Allie (Alli? Ally? Ali?) have done my tan, and I would like to thank them again for making me look less like a plastic bag filled with cottage cheese and more like a healthy, glowing human being.
P. S. Buy the lotion there. Honestly, my tan lasted about a week and a half the first time, and I’m on my 4^th day with this one, still looking fresh 2 death.

I have been coming to natural glow for about two years and absolutely love it! The staff is friendly, knowledgable, and very skilled at their craft. I’ve always received extremely natural and even tans. Normally I’m fair and prone to sunburns, but I always look perfectly bronzed after visiting natural glow. I also have some redness on the back of my arms that I’m not wild about, the staff has always been awesome about going a bit darker in those problem areas to minimize the appearance.
One tip: my usual body wash and lotion tend to strip the tan pretty quickly. I’ve found that using the whole foods brand fragrance-​free body wash and Everyday Shea body lotion (unscented) have helped me keep the color much longer!

Very impressed with Natural Glow! I especially am happy about their student discount rate, but overall their rates seem much better than most airbrush tan rates across Boston. I’ve had a few full body tans and have been pleased each time. One of my tans actually resulted in the best airbrush tanned hands I have ever had!!! (I am pale and freckled and a frequent airbrush tanner, so this means a lot. Natural airbrush tanned hands are hard to come by, but Natural Glow has this down!)

I first went to Natural Glow as a North End resident for convenience, and although I have moved, will still be a loyal customer! Sarah and her staff are welcoming, accommodating and professional, not to mention reasonably priced! Sarah takes the time to get to know her customers, ask about your event and expectations, and also informs you how to get the most out of your tan. I would highly recommend Natural Glow for a great experience if you’re a first-​time tanner, or a pro!

Fabulous! This place is amazing. Efficient and professional service. The application process is meticulous with super attention to detail. Tan washes off very evenly and lasts a lovely length of time. The staff here are so lovely and really take the time and effort to make sure that every tan is an enjoyable experience. I have been tanning for years and I cannot speak highly enough about this place. I recommend it to all my friends. Thanks ladies!

I had never gotten a spray tan before trying Natural Glow, but as long as I’m in the Boston area I will never go anywhere else! I got a full body spray tan before spring break in the Dominican Republic, and another before a trip to Cuba. Both times I looked as if I had already spent time in the Caribbean! They do a beautiful job of making sure you’re comfortable and that you have an even tan, and if you’re a student you get a $ 5 discount. Just had my first airbrush tan experience and could not be happier! Most importantly, my tan looks incredibly natural. I told Sarah this was my first time so she kept it conservative, particularly because I have fair skin. The facilities are clean and Sarah was incredibly professional. Definitely returning.

I absolutely love Natural Glow! Sarah (the owner) consistently does a fantastic job on my tans. She’s given me both lighter and darker tans that were perfect based on the occasion. Staff is friendly and professional and always works to fit me in! Location is clean and spacious, prices are great. Would recommend to first time tanners and experienced tanners alike!

I have been getting sprayed by Sarah since she opened. I was never the spray tan kinda girl and was actually terrified of them after having a traumatic experience at another salon after turning green, but I my wife always did so I thought I would try again. I have never EVER been unhappy with my color from Natural Glow. The spray is so natural looking that I have had many friends change salons based on how good my spray looks. The girls make you feel so comfortable and you can decide how dark or light you would like to go. they do not make the decision for you. I like that! The rooms are private, always clean and you feel like you are in your friends home rather than an office space.
Anyone that claims to have had a bad experience at Natural Glow, must have gone to the wrong place because I have nothing but amazing things to say about Sarah, her staff, the salon and of course my tan.
I urge all who are reading this to trust me and get your Natural Glow on :)

While the girls there were very nice & seemed to know what they were doing, the tan itself was awful. As always, I followed all of the after care instructions, but this tan faded faster than any airbrush or spray tan I’ve ever gotten! First, my feet spotted right away (not a big deal) but then everything looked uneven & was completely gone 3 days later. I had asked to be dark but this was definitely not… Their product is awful. Is rather pay the extra money and go anywhere else to get a quality tan.

Went for my first spray tan in anticipation of a wedding I’m in (the dress might clash with my skin tone). Someone suggested a tan might help. I’m pretty game to new experiences, so I gave it a shot. When I got there, I saw lots of gals were walking out with nice, natural looking tans and many appeared to be regular visitors. Looking good so far.
I mentioned it was my first time and my technician suggested medium coverage as a good place to start. She was very friendly and gave a lot of information about care and positioning. The appointment was fast and professionally handled.
When I woke up in the morning, the color was perfect, but I knew that once the bronzer came off in the shower, it was going to be a different matter. Unfortunately, the color I ended up with was just TOO light and similar to my skin tone. Maybe the technician doesn’t work as often with girls who already have a naturally tanned base, but I have to admit I’m a little bummed by my experience. I probably should have considered the color a bit more when I heard the much lighter girl across the hall ask for the same shade but, I suppose it’s a live and learn experience.
I think if you have lighter skin and are looking for a natural looking tan, this is going to be a great fit for you. But, for me, it didn’t give appreciable enough results for the money.

This place is great and so much better than a booth. Sarah is extremely professional and does a phenomenal job. I highly recommend!

I’ve received two full body air brush tans from Sarah. The first visit was for my engagement pictures and the second was for my wedding weekend. Both visits were scheduled two days before the event, which gave the tan time to set.
Before Natural Glow, my sunless tan experience was limited to machine operated sprays that left me with that dreaded orange tinge. I was therefore really excited with how natural the air brushing looked. For added validation, several friends asked if I had gone away for the weekend, and were surprised to hear my «glow» was an air brushed.
Sarah is so wonderful to work with. She makes you feel comfortable throughout the entire process. She is also very knowledgable about the spray tan, and can guide you to the color that will look best with your natural complexion, as well as offer tips for maintaining your tan.
Natural Glow is located in the North End, and while there is street parking, it’s limited, so give yourself plenty of time to find a spot. It’s definitely worth the trip!

I have been going to Sara for about 6 months now and cannot imagine going a week without seeing her. She is amazing! Her sprays always come out amazing, as dark or as light as you want them too & never orange. I have been to many other salons before and ALWAYS looked orange. Not here! I get compliments ALL the time about how natural my tan looks (everyone thinks I vacationed) and nobody knows its a spray tan until I tell them. Thoroughly impressed with this salon and the customer service is spectacular. I recommend this salon to anyone and everyone looking for a legitimately natural looking spray tan. #1 hands down. BTW, I have the whitest skin ever and she makes me look like a sun goddess.

I had never had a spray tan before but a coworker recommended Natural Glow and I’m so happy she did. The girls make you feel very comfortable and do a great job applying the tan. It really does look natural and last long enough for weekend events. The space is a little weird (in the back of a chiropractors office) but it’s a small shop and I imagine it makes the most sense to set up that way. This is the only spot I go to after I’ve seen many friends come back orange from other places.

Before my bday last weekend, I went to Sarah for a full body airbrush. My skin was pretty light and she chose the perfect color, applied it evenly and even contoured the color to where the sun would naturally hit your skin. The result was a natural, long-​lasting tan. Over a week later, I still have it. She also let me know that they do complimentary face touch-​ups with a full body airbrush because your face of course fades the fastest.
I’ve tried both Mystic and Versa spray booths, and for about $ 5 more (or the same price in the case of Versa) you can get a longer-​lasting, more natural looking tan from Natural Glow.
Sarah was very sweet, professional and knew her stuff. The spray she uses is (almost) all natural with no super strong after smell. I will definitely be going back and bringing friends.
