Dr Pappas and his team at Masterpiece Dentistry at Copley are outstanding. Dr. Pappas is extremely friendly, professional, and as well as honest and thorough.
I have been a patient of Dr Pappas’ (and his assistant Laurie) ever since he opened his practice. I have done invisalign, in-​office whitening treatment, and other dental services. All the equipment they use is very state-​of-​the-​art and clean. Dr Pappas is very thorough, he takes the time to explain what he is doing. He has the absolute best customer service anywhere — for example the day after one of my procedures he called to personally check up on me.
Karen, his office manager is so welcoming and efficient in getting me the appointment time I need, and great at answering my emails, and phone calls. Always greets me by my name. Oh, she is also very diligent in remembering to give you a reminder call/​email before an appointment (something I definitely need).
Cathy (hygienist) — so funny, so personable, so gentle!- you can’t help but feel at ease in the chair with her.
I am one happy patient! Always looking forward to my visits to their office, which is such a weird thing to say about a dentist! Highly recommended.
Bonus: Great location — easy to find street parking by the office also located conveniently near orange/​green line

Our dentist, Dr. K moved his space to Masterpiece Dentistry a few years ago. We had been with him for 20 plus years. when he retired, we thought we would look for a dentist closer to home. It takes us 45 minutes to a hour to commute to the office and find parking, but it is well worth it. All of the staff is wonderful! We recommend this team highly!

I never thought I would actively look to give a shout out about a dentist office, but I loved my experience at Masterpiece Dentistry. I strongly recommend anyone who is looking for a great dentist.
From the moment you walk in, you are treated with overwhelming kindness. Karen, the receptionist, is always so helpful and timely with my requests. Cathy is a WONDERFUL hygienist. I swear she has to take notes about our appointments because she seems to remember everything about past conversations. She is incredibly personable and engaged, not to mention great at her craft.
Dr. Pappas is a hoot. He does his job, and he does it well. His sense of humor is quick witted, so be prepared for some good laughs. My only regret is I had to move to the Midwest, so I won’t be able to attend for regular appointments.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this practice. The professionals there are a JOY to deal with. I email and get immediate responses, I call and everyone is always helpful and always available. Each person is amazingly down to earth and personable. I have been at this practice for over 7 years and it is off the charts wonderful. I LOVE these people. On a more technical note, Dr. Pappas is knowledgeable and explains things in layman’s terms so that the patient understands. His bedside manner (along with Laurie) relaxes you and sets you at ease. Cathy is an amazing hygienist and probably one of the most upbeat persons I have ever met. Lyndie, who used to be my hygienist is equally as fabulous. Karen is a huge attribute to the front desk and takes care of everything (all the stuff you don’t want to!). This group makes going to the dentist, painless and easy.

It is hard to find a good dentist these days, let alone a good dentist office staff. It’s even harder to find one in the middle of Boston. A friend of mine referred me over six years ago and even in the face of change this practice has stayed rock steady. They are very accommodating to a modern busy life by communicating over the phone or by email. Either when it comes to staying late or finding a time for one to come in to get great care done.
I was a bit worried when the practice switched from Dr. McDermot to Dr. Pappas because it was a major change. Dr. McDermot was an excellent administer of Novocain. Never felt a thing ever. That concern was soon dissolved when I met Dr. Pappas. He is a very skilled dentist and has a great rapport with his clients. The technicians such as Cathy, Lyndie, Laurie
are all wonderful, honest and accommodating. Now comes down to the billing department, Karen. She will resubmit claims and make sure you will not be paying a dime you don’t have to out of pocket.
All in all this is one of the best dentist office I have ever been to and that is no small feat in this day and age.
