History

Established in 2000.

We are a law firm concentrating on immigration law that was founded by immigrants, and serves the needs of immigrants and their families and employers. Early in our practice, we decided that to best serve the needs of our clients, we needed to be great at what we did, which meant we needed to concentrate in a single area of law, immigration.

Since the firm was founded, technology has evolved tremendously. At Maged Rost, we have kept abreast of the changes and implemented a mostly paperless office and make use of top-​notch technology to allow each staff member to perform at peak efficiency. We bill on a flat-​fee basis, avoiding surprises or «feet-​dragging» that can occur when fees are billed hourly. This model also encourages faster output of work-​product.

Business Owner

Kristina’s skillful handling of immigration matters has earned her widespread respect among clients and colleagues. Kristina provides immigration counsel to U.S. and international companies in various industries as well as to IRC 501 (c)(3) Nonprofit Organizations. Kristina serves on the 2013 Annual Conference Committee of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Before her current appointment, Kristina served as a Chair of the AILA Ethics & Practice Management Committee. In May 2007, Kristina was presented with the «Outstanding Immigration Lawyer» award for exceptional legal service to immigrant communities in New England by the Brazilian Immigrant Center. In August 2008, she was honored as an «Up and Coming Lawyer» by the Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly publication and was named a Super Lawyers — Rising Star by New England Super Lawyers-​Rising Stars in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Kristina was honored as a «Top Northeast Immigration Lawyer» in Arrive Magazine in December 2010.
