Well, I haven’t tried everything else on their menu that the other reviewers have so I can only speak on their korean bbq tacos which I get everytime and they are DELICIOUS. And I’ve never had to wait too long so I don’t know what these other negative nancys are talking about.

I stopped by the Kim Kim truck just because I was feeling lazy and didn’t want to walk another 10 minutes to Bön Me. The menu seemed pretty similar to Saigon Alley /Bön Me with noodle salads, rice bowls, and sandwiches so I thought I’d give it a try. I went with the bulgogi beef noodle salad, and waited for roughly ten minutes before I got my food. Mind you, there were only two other customers, so I’m not quite sure why it took so long. When I received my salad, I was sorely disappointed to find — I kid you not — a tiny portion of bulgogi, six pieces of mesclun, three cherry tomatoes, one piece of a mandarin orange, a pinch of seaweed salad, maybe three slivers of sliced almonds, and a teensy portion of soba. Considering I paid $ 8 for what seems like a tiny side salad, the food should have been out of the world amazing. I had toasted sesame dressing, and there was some sweet undertone mixed into the dressing, but overall the cherry tomatoes didn’t integrate well with the other flavors. I’m bummed because the bulgogi beef was actually quite tasty, but overall this meal was not worth it. Wouldn’t recommend.

If I wanted a boring rice-filled chicken burrito I would have gone to Boloco. If that was in fact their kimchi fried rice in there, for which I paid extra, then they ran out of kimchi when they ran out of spicy pork. No vinegar, no spice, super boring, disappointed.

The meat is actually okay(not good, but just okay) if you JUST eat the meat. But for the bibim-bowl they’re serving, there’s definitely too little meat in comparison to the other ingredients. That is why after you mix the entire bowl together, I feel like I’m eating a salad with some hint of protein. I understand that it’s $ 7, but judging from the other reviews here, most people wouldn’t mind paying a bit more for a bit more meat.

Very disappointed. I work in Financial District and Kim Kim always has the smallest line out of all the food trucks. I didn’t know why until now. I arrived at 11:40 when there were hardly any people getting lunch yet. Took them 12 minutes to make my basic salad order, while other people before me were getting their food. I finally had to ask the person in the window about my salad. Realized it slipped through the cracks, they made it for me and added the dressing when I asked to have it on the side. Running late to my meeting I grabbed the salad thinking I would call them or email them later to tell them about the experience. They don’t have a website or a working number. Avoid this truck – they are slow, don’t pay attention to details, give small portions.

Tried the burrito with kimchi fried rice and K-Town chicken. It was substantially sized and overall off the chain. The rice could have been a bit more flavorful but I was still generally satisfied. Would definitely go back for more.

I found Kim Kim BBQ food truck at the Waltham Riverfest today and decided to give them a try. I got a burrito with kim chee fried rice and K-town chicken. The kim chee fried rice was good but could have been a little bit more kim chee spiced. The K-town chicken was moist and delicious and the portion was appropriate for the burrito! The combination was good and the price was right($ 7). I would recommend possibly having some condiments available for customers — sriracha, soy sauce, fish sauce, etc. Will definitely try them again!

This place sucks. I paid $ 7 for a rice bowl with a skimpy amount of meat. The only other ingredients were plain white rice, shredded carrots, an egg, and a bunch of lettuce with some sriracha on top. A guy actually asked if they accidentally gave him the salad, because since when is lettuce considered«vegetables?» The food was so plain I could do better with the contents of my fridge at home, and the wait was ridiculous. What a rip-off.

Like the other reviewers say: way overpriced, skimpy portions, and not even tasty. Wish I’d read the reviews before coming here. Will stick with Bön Me for my Greenway asian food truck fix from now on.

A shame really. The menu looks promising and Korean food is amazing, so it is pretty sad to pay 7 dollars for a kid size burrito that’s mostly lettuce and rather dull. All the little details add up: barely spicy pork, not enough mayo, not enough radish or carrot, not fried not tasty kimchee fried rice, skimpy tiny portions. Glad I tried it so I know not to spend my money there again. I could have made this at home with my own bibimbap leftovers and it wouldn’t have taken half an hour.

My utter disappointment with Boston’s street meat continues. This place, like a bunch of others, is engaged in ripping off the trusting Bostonians like anything. I had to wait fifteen long minutes for some greens, a whole bunch of sticky white rice, a few pieces of fatty chicken doused in a generic sweet salty sauce and — this was the crowing glory — one fried egg. Had it not been for that fried egg elegantly sitting on top of this rubbish, the entire thing would have gone into the trash. This is not worth even $ 5. and why does this simple combination take that long to put together is just beyond me. I am not going back and neither should anyone who prizes value and quality.

I tried the Kim Kim truck at the SoWa market, extremely disappointing! I waited for 45 minutes for a tiny burrito that was missing half of the ingredients listed on the menu. I got the bulgogi meat, which the burrito had only a tiny bit inside, and it was flavorless! Word of advice to the food truck owners, if you run out of stuff then please be honest with your customers. Or else they’ll never come back for a second chance.
