Dr. Rhonda Friedmann is a remarkable dentist! The best I’ve ever been to. Unlike many dentists, Dr. Friedmann treats patients proactively (not reactively). She identifies behaviors and teaches you how to correct them in order to prevent dental and other health issues. She also is very pragmatic: she doesn’t «preach» or talk at patients; she listens and discusses realistic options to help patients find preventative methods that work for them. When preventative care isn’t an option, her technical skills and her immense compassion make her a gentle and diligent professional. I recommend Dr. Friedmann without reservation!

Dr. Friedmann is by far the best dentist I’ve been to, and I’ve moved around a lot and seen many dentists, most of them quite good. She’s careful and kind not only during the actual treatment, but with her conservative approach, which reduced the amount of work I needed vs other dentists. Probably the most impressive part was her effectively «coaching» me to have the best home care possible. If I lived anywhere near Boston, I would still go to Dr. Friedmann.

I have been going to Kerstein & Friedmann, PC for nearly 20 years and have probably referred as many patients to the practice, all of whom share my glowing view of these professionals. Drs. Friedmann and Kerstein are both true professional in every sense of the word. If you are considering treatment with this group, you can expect the following: (1) An extraordinarily high degree of competence/​skill and thoroughness, including knowledge of current developments in dental care, and artistry in the delivery of services. (2) To be able to ask any and all questions you may have, and receive a very thoughtful and educational response. (3) To always know your options, taking into account your particular dental, personal and financial needs. (4) To have an enjoyable visit as far as these things go … Dr. Friedmann (with whom I visit most often) always keeps me interested and appropriately distracted with her lovely conversational style; likewise Dr. Kerstein is very good-​natured guy. (5) To feel that your dental providers know you and care about you. If these things are important to you, then this is these are the dentists for you.

I’m so happy to be writing what seems like the first review for this amazing pair of dental professionals. I have been seeing Drs. Kerstein and Friedmann since around 2006 and I am extremely satisfied with my experiences.
Dr. Friedmann has been my dentist and she is extremely skilled, knowledgeable, and caring. She has done lots of work on my teeth, everything from wisdom tooth extractions to fillings, general cleaning, whitening, etc. Let me start with the fillings she has done. Not only have they been long lasting, but they are beautiful. She really prides herself in making them look as realistic as possible and you can tell she really gets into the «artist» part of it.
The one wisdom tooth extraction she performed went very smooth. She is a very gentle dentist and I’ve never experienced pain or discomfort while having anything done.
I see her twice a year for my cleanings and ever since I started seeing her I have seen a continuing improvement of my hygiene. She also bleached my teeth and even though the cost was a little high, she very generously provides me with a tray of bleach every 6 months when I go for my general cleaning. Her reasoning is that it is in her best interest for every patient that has bleaching performed to have the whitest possible teeth for as long as possible. I have never heard of any other dentist who does this!
Dr. Kirstein has done some prostodonthic work on me and I can say that I was completely blown away by the beauty of his work. I had to get a root canal done and he did the final portion of it (crown). The crown he gave me is beautifully realistic, and in every way superior to any other I have had in the past.
Another thing is that every time I’ve had to be referred to another specialist (be it endodontic, orthodontic, or implant surgeon) all those offices and doctors have been just top notch.
I have never had this level of professionalism from a dentist or dental office. Not only am I extremely happy with the work they do (and their always cheerful disposition) but they are very open about their services. Their staff is also an absolute delight. They are upfront, efficient, and always honest.
I don’t have a single complaint about these professionals.
