We specialize in exquisite hand embroidered pure pashmina shawls and scarves which make excellent wedding shawl or can be worn on any special occasions, embroidered jackets and kaftans are unique in style and workmanship, chain-​stitched pillows are must for accessorizing any sofa or chaise lounge.

Our silk are finely knotted and are product of the cottage industries where every single silk carpet is made by the finest artisans using the ancient and original technique of making hand knotted carpets. Premium silk and very high knot count is used in the making of these carpets which makes them very durable and attractive.

Business Owner

Umar Sheikh was raised in Kashmir, and studied Civil Engineering at the University of Pune. Although an engineering professional, Umar pours his passion for the arts and heritage products of Kashmir into his Boston-​based business, Kashmir Handcrafts. He has helped artisans and master craftsmen of Kashmir to revive ancient designs, textures, weaves and to showcase their work in the International market.
