K-A Carpet Cleaning

Kamil & Jerry called 45 minutes before they left to let me know they were on their way. I had never used KA previously and used other local vendors for my apartment units in North Andover.
I was skeptical given that I had hired 3 different carpet services over the past 5 years and none of them could get the wear pattern out of my berber carpets. The tenant that moved out also contributed spilled coffee and rarely vacuumed her apartment during the time she lived there.
Jerry dry vacuumed the entire apartment and pre-​treated the wear patterns and stains. They then went to work with their steam vacuum. As they ran the vacuum down the carpet, you could see the difference in color. Dirty grey carpet adjacent to the brilliantly clean carpet surrounding where the vac head had just been. I swear it was like magic!
The traffic pattern ground into the carpet was lifted away. this after 5 years of other cleaners trying to get it out. The coffee stain. gone! What an amazing job they did. But it didn’t stop there.
At the end, when I was happily writing them the check I saw Jerry cleaning out the steam-​vac filter. which they do after and (sometimes) during every service. I couldn’t believe the piles of hair and dirt that came out of the filter. Jerry used both hands to scoop out the filter, several times. Gross. but impressive! I was amazed that ~800 sqft of carpeting yielded so many handfuls of filth!
K-​A Carpet Cleaning is going to be welcomed back to my properties every year now. Yes they cost a bit more than local cleaners. but well worth the money given what it costs to replace carpeting.

I would give Kamil more than five stars if I could. I called him on Yom Kippur which was also my husband’s seventy-​fifth birthday, so lots going on. My husband had accidentally spilled an almost full cup of milky tea on our yellow bedroom carpet a couple of days before, and despite my earnest efforts with a Vanish bar, it had not vanished. Since he felt bad about it I decided to see if someone would come out and see what could be done. Kamil was just finishing a job when I called, and said he would come in about an hour and a half. He said he would phone when he was coming and did. He said he would charge $ 100 unless I wanted the entire carpet cleaned, but I explained I couldn’t do it that day, and agreed to pay what he asked. When he saw the stain he attacked it with a magic spray and managed to mop it all up. He explained it might come back and advised putting a blow heater by it, to dry it out, which we did. So far it has not reappeared. Kamil then said he would not charge for doing it, since it was so quick to deal with, although if it reappeared more would be required. I thought it was extremely kind and generous of him to do that, especially since he had to come to my house, and publicly announce that when the carpet needs cleaning he will be the man to do it!

I would definitely use K-​A again and recommend them. They showed up early, were efficient and professional. My carpets look great!

Had a sofa cleaned that was pretty badly stained. Kamil was very professional, on time and was able to get the stains out of the sofa. It looks great. Highly recommend the service.

I’m a property manager and owner of a condo in a 10 unit building in the Back Bay. I had the pleasure of working with K-​A Carpet Cleaning, specifically Kamil, and he was spectacular. Kamil was timely, professional, knowledgeable, and executed flawlessly. We needed to have our 4 story common area cleaned with some grease and dirt stains in parts of the carpet. On top of the rugs looking great after Kamil was finished, he also provided shoe covers and handled all the furniture with care placing it on small blocks to ensure the rug dried beneath each piece.
We plan on using K-​A Carpet Cleaning every year going forward to keep our building looking great!

My job Le Visage Spa, recently used K-​A Carpet Cleaning for our rugs. We found them on Unilocal and they did not disappoint. Kamil and his team arrived on time, where quick, very friendly and professional. The rugs in the spa look brand new. We highly recommend K-​A and will definitely use them again.

Unfortunately I never got to try their services. I emailed several times and called twice. I spoke with someone who gave me a quote for 300 $ for a couch and a chair, plus I would have to pay an extra 50 $ for portable machine. I’m sorry but I feel that is a bit pricey even if they are as good as their reviews state.

This is a great company. They were so accommodating when we needed to change our appointment. They were on time, their estimate over the phone was exactly as expected, and they finished the job quickly. Our apartment complex had a difficult entryway and the gentleman had to use the portable cleaner, carrying it up 2 flights of stairs, which is also more expensive however he tried very hard to avoid doing so. They seemed to have a ton of experience and knew most areas of Greater Boston. I would highly recommend them and will be using their service for future needs.

Prompt and professional. Showed up on time and did a great job cleaning a sofa and a room of wall-​to-​wall carpet. The price was slightly less than the on-​phone estimate, so no complaints there. An excellent experience; highly recommended.

Second time we used K-​A and Kamil and team are great. Professional. courteous and very good at their job. Way better than the «3-​room special» outfits.

This was my second time having Kamil out and the service was great. Yesterday I spilt tea on the carpet and called Kamil and he was able to fit me in today. Needless to say I was pretty happy when he was able to get the stain out! He also did the the rest of the carpets and thought the price was very fair considering how much time they spent cleaning and the result.

These guys were great. Runners on the stairs hadn’t been cleaned in years, and now they look great. They carefully removed a few tricky stains. Had an issue with one of the rugs being too crusty after the cleaning, but they came back quickly and fixed the problem. All you can ask is for someone to stand by their work, and these guys do. I would definitely use them again.

Just finished up with the team from K-​A Carpet and was very impressed with the whole process. Appointment booked with a realistic estimate given (actual price was $ 25 less than the estimate). I am just coming off some surgery, so I wasn’t able to lift heavy items, but the guys were great and very helpful with moving reasonable furniture and other items to do the cleaning. They confirmed the day before, called 15 minutes before their arrival, worked efficiently and were great to deal with. Their efforts brought some very old wall to wall carpeting back to full brightness and removed some stubborn stains.

When it comes to customer service and professionalism, K-​A Carpet Cleaning really exceeded any of our expectations. We found K-​A through Unilocal and scheduled an appointment by phone. When an unexpected mechanical issued required that the guys would have to reschedule our carpet cleaning, they handled the situation as best as possible and got out to us asap. Additionally, they were very honest about what carpets are suitable for cleaning, not wanting us to pay for anything that we wouldn’t be 100% satisfied with.
It was very clear to us that customers and their reputation are top priorities for this company. I’ve already recommended these guys to friends and coworkers. Happy to do the same here.

Moved into my apartment 8 months ago and the carpets got dirty from the winter and coffee stains. So, I looked around for a good carpet cleaning company and found K-​A Carpet Cleaning… thank GOD! Very professional and came promptly at the designated time. I am not sure if they used magic dust or what but the carpets looked better than when I moved in. Not a stain remaining! Amazing job and great crew. Very affordable as well. 5 BIG STARS!!!

First i waited for someone to pick up the phone for 3 minutes, then a lady who seemed to hate her job picked up the phone and transferred me to someone who could «give me a quote» which translated to put me on hold for 5 minutes then hang up on me, i’ll be going somewhere else

I recently moved into a new home where the previous owner had cats. As I am deathly allergic to cats, I resolved to rip out any carpets I could, repaint everything, repolish floors, and do a special kind of steam cleaning, «hot water extraction», on anything I would not be able to rip out. I called KA Cleaners based on stellar reviews, and I was not disappointed.
I was given an estimate by phone for cleaning a carpeted area as well as some couches that were left behind by the previous owner. KA Cleaners came promptly within their estimated time window and were courteous and professional. The owner was present and said he goes to most of the jobs. Good sign.
They did a very thorough job on cleaning the carpet and the 20 year old couches I asked them to sanitize. The owner was upfront that he would not be able to clean out all the marks and stains, which I was fine with, since my primary goal was sanitation and removal of cat dander. Still, I could tell he was unhappy midway through the project as some of the stains he saw were not coming out, and he discussed it with me again. I reassured him this was fine, but was pleased with how seriously he took this. When he finished, he left one of his industrial fans for us to use over two days to facilitate drying of the upholstery and carpet.
The actual cost turned out to be LESS than he estimated. Indicates to me he is not trying to take advantage of his customers.
He called me the next day to see if he could pick up the fan and asked how the couches looked. I thought this was all great — a sign he takes pride in his work and wants to provide the best service possible. I asked to keep the fan one more day, having also forgotten to leave it out for him while I was not in the house. He was totally understanding and fine with it.
Really excellent, really professional. I never write reviews, but with the new house I am utilizing a lot of contractors and other services, so will start to review more often… It is a jungle out there not knowing what to expect in terms of quality. I was so impressed with KA Carpet cleaners and will only call them for future carpet/​furniture cleaning needs.
