Needed an issue fixed with my laptop. Saw the Unilocal reviews and picked this spot, and I’m very happy I did. I was seen promptly, and it turned out my issue was not as severe as I thought. It was fixed while I waited. The pricing was extremely reasonable, and I got very knowledgeable and friendly advice on how to handle future upgrades. I’m definitely going to come back here for any and all needs with my devices.

Van is courteous and informative. Emailed him about repairing my old laptop screen and he gave me a quote. When I came in he was able to repair it and the cd drive the same day at a very reasonable price. He also assisted me with possible upgrade opportunities. Definitely recommending him & coming back.

Friendly and willing to help. So far my problems have been minor and I just needed reassurance and needed to replace charging equipment from Apple. Because my issues didn’t involve a lot of work iService did not charge me. That of course makes me a fan. Even though South Boston is difficult to get to I recommend non-​Southie residents make the trip. Street parking is usually available on West Broadway not far from iService.

My boyfriend brought my brand new iPhone’s shattered screen to iService the day after I got it and they replaced it under an hour. They were helpful, friendly and honorable. I have a silver iPhone 6 and they only had black screens in stock but told me I could come back next week to replace it with the white screen. They honored their agreement and replaced it within 45 minutes of me dropping it off.
My only tip is that they are located on the same street as the gas station on W. Broadway. For some reason I thought they were next to Regan’s gym but it’s right across the street from them.

Walking out of work on a Friday I dropped my phone and broke the screen. Needing my phone back ASAP I considered several options — submitting an insurance claim, going to the sprint store, etc. All of these would have meant being without my phone for a few days and would have been a hassle. I stopped by iService and was out in 15 minutes with a new screen and fully functioning phone for a very fair price. Great customer service. I highly recommend this place!

My computer has been extremely slow for a while (as in it took 45 minutes just to get to the log-​in screen) and with the crazy winter we had, I was too lazy to get it fixed. I finally brought it here a few days ago only to find out that my hard drive was dead! Van put in a new hard drive and was able to save literally everything that was on my old one! All of my pictures, iTunes music, documents, etc. I will definitely be coming back if I have any problems in the future.

I thought I lost all of my data I had stored on a flimsy usb drive that just quit working on me! I brought it to iService and they had all the data transferred onto another usb in a day! What a lifesaver! THANK YOU!!!

Had to get my computer screen fixed quickly and drove by the store. I didn’t realize it had been there for a couple of years. The two technicians I met there were so nice. They called with a quote that was very reasonable. My computer was fixed within 48 hours.

My gaming laptop was fix here. Now i have an opportunity to work with the best. I my self have experience in laptops, desktops but Van has far beyond expertise in everything you throw at him, iPhones, printers, tv, laptops, desktop u name him he can Do IT. But don’t expect everything fix in 1 hour or less. everything takes time to get fix.
But a+++ and cheap compare to apple store.

I came to iService Computer Repair based on the reviews and they led me to a great place! Although Van didn’t fix my cracked computer screen (he could have but the screen cost from the supplier was too high for me and it would be cheaper for me to just buy a new computer) he is the best! He charged me nothing for his hard work of getting in touch with the supplier and letting me know as soon as he heard back. I felt bad I couldn’t pay him for his time so I hope this makes up for it. If you need any computer fixed definitely go here!

I definitely recommend this place! I researched many in the area after my laptop died and decided to give this place the opportunity given the reviews.
At first Van said he would need my laptop for a few days to figure out what was wrong but that I could borrow a laptop if I wanted. I didn’t but I thought that was very nice/​helpful.
He thought he had to replace the motherboard so he told me that in addition to labor ($ 65) would be to order a new one. I wasn’t thrilled with the price of the new part but it was needed. Make a long story short it ended up being something else that was wrong so he charged me a lot less.
I was very happy with him explaining everything to me and working on my laptop. He even cleaned it up for me free of charge.

I was very grateful for the promptness and level of professionalism this place delivered. I had a problem with my power jack for my Toshiba laptop, and he fixed it within an hour and a half. For someone who needs a laptop constantly for work, this experience was a pleasant surprise! I feel relieved that I did not send the laptop to the factory, which will take three weeks, or anywhere else that may take around 3 – 4 days at least. I highly recommend this place, which is founded on skill and honesty.

I was in urgent need of a repair on an custom control box. A wire had been pulled off the connector so custom work was needed. After calling several places locally, I spoke with Van and he said he could do it. Indeed, he did…20 minutes later and it was done.

Great service, I broke my iphone 5s screen and iService Computer Repair replaced the screen quickly. Unfortunately, it started to malfunction and I called Van right away. He replaced it again no questions asked. It’s been about a month still working great, Van even called to follow-​up to make sure there’s been no more issues.

My screen had a defect and was showing these lines. Van gave me a loaner while he was working on my computer and the price was very reasonable. In the mean time he also fixed my screen on my kindle which i had managed to get water inside. He did an amazing job on a tablet that i thought would never even turn on. Highly recommended for his professionalism, knowledge and overall a truly genuine person!
