History

Established in 2005.

Hibernian Hall has a rich history of service to Roxbury since it was built in 1913 by the Ancient Order of Hibernians and served as the hub of social activity for Boston’s Irish community for nearly 50 years. For decades the building sat unoccupied until purchased by Madison Park Development Corp in 2000.

Reopened in 2005, Hibernian Hall features the Roxbury Center for the Arts at Hibernian Hall: a two-story performance space and ballroom with an adjacent caterer’s kitchen and conference room/business center. Hibernian Hall serves as corporate offices for Madison Park Development Corp. and also houses a number of local businesses.
