I have been to this gap several times and had the most awful experiences. While checking out yesterday the cashier barely acknowledged my existence except when she asked me 3 times if I wanted the Gap Card– I declined all three and was annoyed she kept asking. I get they have a job to sell these cards but no the first time should end the conversation. Then after she put my pants in the gap bag she literally tossed the bag at me across the counter. I will NEVER go into this store again.

Very limited selection for men and women. Lots of colors of what they do have.

Very meh Gap. They frequently change the layout to encourage browsing, but it also encourages frustration when nothing is where I think it will be. The clearance section is pretty small and skews toward extremely large sizes. There’s no comfortable area for a line to form for the registers, so an amorphous blob of people(a «line») coalesces in the middle of the store and creates an impediment to other shoppers(«me»). If the sales weren’t so good, I’d poop on their floor.

Not the biggest men’s selection compared to other branches I’ve been to, but I did manage to find a nice grey bomber jacket in my size that wasn’t available anymore online =D

This has to be the worst Gap out there. Like Kevin W. said, it’s extremely hard to maneuver. Trying on clothes with my fiancé was a huge pain because the Gap girl was busy rehanging things and she bumped into us every single time we moved outside of the fitting room. She was also extremely annoyed that we were there. They only had one person working the register and the line was about 10 minutes long. The whole time I was in there my blood was boiling. Worst Gap ever.

I once found a pair of jeans here for 12 bucks. I couldn’t get any happier

The store is really hard to maneuver, but I was able to find what I was looking for. Sales Associate was really nice and friendly. If in Boston again and have some time to shop I will be back.

Friendly, helpful sales people who are not too overbearing. They explained all the current sales, I was especially happy with the 30% off for bringing in an old pair of jeans! Not only that they help you with fitting and finding the right style for you. They had enough staff on the floor so that you did not have to wait long for assistance or to be checked out in line. Shop this location for good service!

If you go right now — and bring in an old pair of jeans you get your new jeans for 30% off a new pair of jeans. They were VERY helpful with fitting my husband with a new pair. EXCELLENT customer service.

This Gap is not that bad. Not that great, but not that bad either. It’s tough to find deals, though when you consider that it’s within the Copley Place Mall, nearly everything in the store looks like a deal in comparison to the rest of the place. That being said, I did find some cheap pants in just the right size here($ 10, down from $ 50). Lucky, yes. But the possibility that the discount rack has these things is incentive enough to think that it could happen on occasion. So, while I can’t love it, I can’t hate it either.

THis year’s winter line is TERRIBLE. It is absolute crap, and the prices are higher than they used to be. There is nothing classic about Gap anymore… that new ad campaign, what the hell is that? and all the gold in the store marketing??? move on, the gap’s days are over.

I was a little dissappointed the other day when I went here. Normally I can find really good deals, but they have been changing the set-up of the store, resulting in less sale racks… very, very sad. The suburbs still have a purpose. But, this Gap still had good deals on just plain t-shirts(you gotta love them) and the sales and special deals are cheaper that Newbury Street(I don’t know how they do that), and the staff is a little more stand-offish, giving you more of a chance to shop without having to tell every different person there that«I am just looking, thanks.» Don’t get me wrong, the staff was still really helpful, but it was the let the customer shop and help them when they looked confused or lost helpful… I like it that way.

This location seems to never have any stuff, especially on clearance. I was there yesterday and they hand two tiny little clearance racks. That’s it. Even their selection of regularly priced items is sorely lacking. I prefer the Coolidge Corner location.
