Incompetent, uncaring, not knowledgeable. Terrible especially if you are trusting them to help you with something important.
I used this company years ago. All in all, they are incompetent and I wouldn’t trust them with something you care about. I would have written this years ago, but there was no Unilocal back then. The reason why I decided to write this now is that I saw a commercial for them and I thought about how bad my experience was with them and how much I wouldn’t want anyone to trust their immigration cases with him. There were several problems.
First, I was supposed to work with one attorney that I liked and actually spoke Spanish (something important to my case). She moved, and no one told me.
Second, many of the papers that they had to fill out for an immigration case were incorrect, so they weren’t really good at copying, a skill most school aged students perfect by the 3^rd grade.
Third, they supposedly speak Spanish and were supposed to prepare their client for the interview. Mr. Fitzgerald has a remedial ability to speak Spanish at best and was not understood very well during the prep meeting. He also seemed to be unaware and not knowledgeable about what the interview would be like. So even if there were no problem with communication based on language, the prep session was not helpful at all.
Forth, they had told me that unless something out of the norm happened, they would not charge me any more than the retainer fee of 1,500. All they did was fill out some paperwork which had to be fixed several times because the information was entered incorrectly, have a prep meeting, and send in some paperwork. Then after nothing out of the norm happened, Mr. Fitzgerald sent me a bill for more time. Seriously, there was no way I would give them another penny, NO WAY! I told him as much and he never asked for anything again. The funniest part is when they called me 8 months after a deadline to see if I wanted them to fill out the follow up paperwork with them. Obviously I had already done it myself before the deadline because I care about my case and they don’t.

He utilizado esta empresa hace años. En general, son incompetentes y yo no confiaría en ellos con algo que te importa. Yo hubiera escrito esto hace años, pero no había Unilocal en aquel entonces. La razón por la que decidí escribir esto ahora es que vi un anuncio para ellos y pensé en lo mal que mi experiencia fue con ellos y lo mucho que no quisiera que nadie confiara en sus casos de inmigración con él. Hubo varios problemas.
En primer lugar, se suponía que debía trabajar con un abogado que me gustaba y en realidad hablaba español (algo importante para mi caso). Ella se mudó, y nadie me lo dijo.
En segundo lugar, muchos de los papeles que tenían que llenar para un caso de inmigración no salieron correctos, porque no podían copiar información, una habilidad que los alumnos de la escuela primaria perfectan antes de llegar al 3 grado.
En tercer lugar, supuestamente se habla español y se suponía que preparara a su cliente para la entrevista con el consulado. El señor Fitzgerald tiene una capacidad muy baja para hablar español y no se entendía muy bien durante la reunión preparatoria. También parecía que no sabían cómo iba a ser la entrevista. Así que incluso si no hubiera un problema con la comunicación basada en el lenguaje, la sesión de preparación no era útil en total.
Ultimamente, me habían dicho que a menos que algo fuera de lo normal pasara, ellos no me cobraran más de la tasa de retención de 1500. Todo lo que hicieron fue llenar unos papeles que tenía que ser arreglados varias veces porque se ha introducido la informacion de forma incorrecta, tener una reunión de preparación, y enviar en unos papeles. Luego, después de que nada fuera de lo normal pasó, Sr. Fitzgerald me envió una factura por más tiempo. En serio, no había manera de que les daría un centavo, NINGUNA MANERA! Se lo dije y nunca pidió nada de nuevo. La parte más divertida es cuando me llamaron 8 meses después de la fecha límite para ver si yo quería que llenar el papeleo nuevo con ellos. Obviamente yo ya lo había hecho antes de la fecha límite porque me preocupo por mi caso y no lo hacen.

This law firm is awesome!!! We had some problem at first since our first attorney moved to her new firm. Then, we had Daisa and Mr. FitzGerald covered our back. Daisa helped us a lot to get the paperwork done. Everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend for who is seeking for immigration attorney!
