History

Established in 1946.

The firm has been in existence for over 60 years, tracing its history to 1946 when the late Philip I. Feinberg, Harvard Law School, 1938, opened his firm. This family-​based practice was renamed in 1973 when Marsha, Philip’s daughter, and her husband, Ludwig Alban, formed Feinberg & Alban, P.C. Marsha’s brother, Robert I. Feinberg, joined in 1984 upon the death of Philip I. Feinberg.

Robert I. Feinberg (partner at the firm, Feinberg & Alban PC) is a well-​known Massachusetts personal injury attorney having practiced for approximately 30 years. He has been recognized as a «Super Lawyer» for all seven years that the award has been given in the area of Personal Injury law. Additionally, he has been listed as an «Outstanding Lawyer of America» and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Attorney Robert I. Feinberg received his B.A. magna cum laude with honors in 1978 from Brown University and his J.D. from The University of Pennsylvania.
