Whether it is framing a diploma or a wedding invitation, a Warhol original or a piece of children’s art, FastFrame Boston will take the care your prized possessions deserve and preserve them in the most aesthetically pleasing manner possible. Our framing professionals have years of experience in the picture framing industry and are all trained in conservation framing. Unlike many of our competitors, we do all framing on premises so we have full control of the quality of our product and are able to turn around framing in a time frame that is convenient for you. We stand by the quality of our product and offer a Design Guarantee, that ensures that our clients are happy with their final framing product or we will change the design for them.

History

Established in 2005.

FastFrame Boston was established in the South End in 2005. The owner, Peter Crossley, is a former international banker and his sister, Cindy, is an artist and an accomplished picture framer with close to 20 years of experience.

After spending many years abroad, first with the military and then as a banker, I returned to the States in 2004 looking for a way to start a business. My sister Cindy, an artist and framer living in Boston, thought there might be an opportunity to open a frame store in the South End. Although, a novice to picture framing I did see the potential and without really knowing what I was setting myself up for, we opened in May 2005. It has been a great ride and a rewarding business. It is great to enhance and protect our clients’ most prized possessions. It is one of those few professions where people are usually really overjoyed when they come to see you and pick up their finished work.
