After several recommendations from family friends, I decided to make an appt with Fei-Fei. My experience: I didn’t get exactly what I had asked for. I came in for a ‘trim’, leaving the length and adding long layers. I left with a nice ‘cut’. As she was layering my hair, she ended up taking two inches off the length. I didn’t anticipate leaving with this hairstyle but she did a great job with the cut I ended up with. I’m not married to my hair so I will give this place another try. I’m waiting to see what the cut looks like as it grows out. Space: Clean, neat and small with only 3 stylist stations. Stylist: Fei-Fei is very friendly and meticulous when cutting your hair. Value: Great deal — $ 30 for haircut.

Decided to give this place a shot and I’m glad I did! Fei-Fei did a fantastic job with my haircut today and I was thoroughly impressed with her technique and attention to detail. Easily one of the best cuts I’ve gotten so far. The place is small, but well-kept and the staff here all seem quite nice. As much as I’d like to give 5 stars, the $ 30 wash/cut/dry is still on the higher end regardless of quality so it’s a place I’d try to reserve for cuts for special occasions.

I came here after a friend strongly recommended Michelle for layering hair. It was a BIG mistake. My hair was originally semi layered — but some of the layers grew longer than the others so this haircut was supposed to be quick and effortless — I requested that my hair be thinned a little and the layers fixed. I even showed her a picture in the magazine of layered hair and she said she’d do it.(BTW, it was not a miscommunication because she clearly understood what I was saying) Michelle took 30 mins on my hair — which I admit is a mighty long time, however the end result was terrible despite the time she put into it. My hair ended up as a straight cut and there were no layers at all. In fact, I even had to point out that a couple strands on the left were longer than the right and then she sighed and went back to fix it. I left the salon mortified because my hairdo made me look 10 years older and it framed my face awkwardly. This is the equivalent of a bowl cut grown out long — so much for layered hair –_– Another thing that irked me is that I usually like my hair dry cut(cause I don’t like the shampoo smell and I can only use certain shampoos) so I opted out of shampooing. My usual hair salon would knock off a couple dollars for that, but not here. I left paying $ 30 for a half assed haircut that I could’ve got at Super Cuts for cheaper. Will never come back here ever again =[
