Came here at night after having seen a movie at the nearby Loews Theater. Typical DD. Service was efficient. The DD was kind of small, and even though they had a bathroom it was out of order: P Their donuts did look kind of stale, so I’m glad I didn’t get any. Friendly service though, so overall, an okay experience.

They gave me the wrong coffee, two days in a row. All I wanted was a large dark roast, no cream or sugar – not that complicated. Never going back to this location.

This place sucks! When I stopped in they had no donuts what so ever, and their restroom was closed. Dunkin Donuts has no donuts? Wtf! What kinds of crap is that. To top it off their employee Olanda had a TERRIBLE attitude. She shouldnt be working here. Im visiting Boston from LA, and heard that this place was the spot to go for donuts, sucks that I had a bad experience at my first dunkin donuts.

I am a huge fan of Dunkin’ Donuts!!! I am always willing to try new flavors!!! My favorite piece is caramel donut. But I am struggling with my weight(so sad…). I wonder if I can order low-calories or half-sugar ones. That will be amazing!!!

I usually buy iced coffees here and breakfast foods on occasion(usually when I’ve pulled all-nighters and am craving some grub at 6 am). The coffee here is alright… I usually only drink coffee to keep myself awake at night, but most of the time, the coffee doesn’t help me stay up. Maybe I need to drink the espresso or something? Perhaps my iced coffees contain an uneven ratio of coffee to cream and sugar(i.e. more of the latter than the former). Oh yeah, I don’t know if anything has changed, but I highly recommend that you order your iced coffee(with cream and sugar) before 10pm(it closes at 11pm). I used to lag on buying my nightly coffee until after 10pm, and the iced coffee was always too crunchy(i.e. the sugar was never completely dissolved and sat on the bottom of the cup). I’ve ordered the strawberry Coolatta once. I read great reviews about Coolattas on various food blogs. I mainly wanted the strawberry one because I was craving Italian soda(um, the type that is club soda + flavored syrup + half n half or cream) and wanted to make my own(where do you buy Italian soda in Boston???). I thought the Coolatta was way too sweet, so I went ahead and attempted to make my Italian soda. I bought club soda and half n half… but my concoction looked disgusting and tasted okay. I probably won’t buy any more Coolattas… As for the foodies… I adore the hash browns!!! They are seasoned well and are so crunchy and warm. I’ve only ever eaten them at 6 am, but they’re tasty even at that ungodly hour. I’ve also tried some type of breakfast sandwich with turkey sausage. I was disappointed… the sausage was way too thin and not too flavorful. The egg was also not too appealing either. I’ve also had another breakfast sandwich on a croissant… and I think it came with bacon instead of sausage. It wasn’t that memorable, so it was probably just O.K. The workers(depending on the hour… the 6 am and 10 pm workers are nice) are friendly and seem like they don’t mind their jobs(it sucks when you can tell when workers hate their jobs). The only doughnut I’ve ever tried at this location was the French cruller. I think it’s my new favorite doughnut! It has a hint of a honey taste… and the texture is sort of like a plain doughnut if it were glazed.

Staff is nice, service is fast but there are two drawbacks the first one being some of the homeless folk that hang out here. Some of the men that frequent this place politely ask for money while others are more aggressive. I got asked my shoe size once after giving a guy a dollar and felt uncomfortable. The other drawback is 8⁄10 times I go they don’t have what I want. If I was ordering some extraneous thing fine but plain bagels just seems to me one of the more obvious things you should never run out of. Maybe I’m wrong, I don’t know, but every other dunkin donuts I’ve been to has plain bagels til closing.

(score 1 – 100) –60. I have DD from time to time at different locations as I’m sure most of the free world of new england… This location is super speedy if that is important to you. This review is for one of the items I had today. I tried the CHOCOLATECHIPMUFFINS… yes, that 1000 calorie roundness of joy! Except there was no joy… I mean no chocolate chips, ok, there was a few chips and a muffin top(thanks Seinfeld!) encrusted with sugar, but really bland and flavorless. I had my sweet on today and no satisfaction! All those calories wasted!.. ugh! Off to the gym to work off the disappointed. I like DD, just stay away from the empty chocolate chip muffin!

I simply just do not get the hype about this place. Maybe I got the wrong donuts, when i really wanted the donut hole part(they ran out!). Who knows!!! All I know is that the donuts are mediocre. Nothing fancy nor too exciting. I did not get the chance to try the coffee and(just maybe) that is what the hype is all about! The service was good. The ladies gave good recommendations, but I am a bit bias towards the small chain donut shops! Maybe, I’ll be back when my donut holes are available.

I should have assigned students a paper on the observable cultural differences between the northeast and the southeast. Everywhere I go in these United States, I see a Starbucks on every corner. In Boston for several days, roaming all about, I think I saw only 2. On the other hand, we lost count after the 15th Dunkin’ Donuts. Hey kids, did you know that in Boston, they treat their Dunkin’ Donuts like it’s a Starbucks? No, for real, they form these incredibly long lines to get in for coffee in the morning! I wonder if Bostonians come down here and rave about how quickly you can get your coffee and donut? Ah well, at this particular location they seemed to have it down. The line went out the door and into the mall, and continued this way all morning. But, being next to a convention center and the Sheraton, these employees seemed to be old hat at this level of business, and bustled me through quickly. I got my dozen donuts, all decent, including one of their Patriots themed ones.(Which I didn’t know, due to cluelessness about football, but it may be important to you.) I also got a seasonal pumpkin muffin, which was tasty and fresh. You know what wins, no matter where you are? Glazed blueberry cake donut. So thank you, Dunkin’. I hate Starbucks anyway. And Krispy Kreme for that matter. Hmm, I just realized that any southerner who reads this may try to exile me to Boston, and I’m ok with that. Wicked!

Yep, it’s a good one. Busy, sure. Even hectic during the morning rush. But they had three separate registers going in the morning and a separate section for picking up food, so things moved along quite speedily. Also, there’s plenty of room inside for those not in a rush to get to work.

Reasons why this DnD is rad: 1) It’s a DnD. 2) Super fast service. 3) Super NICE service. 4) It was close to our hotel so we could walk there. Reasons why it sucks: 1) It’s not in California. Boo.

Ordered an iced coffee, and since it was a hot day they gave me a styrofoam cup to put the iced coffee in to keep it cold! Great idea! Never thought of this before.

Came here at 7am on a Saturday morning and the line was long, but moved fast. The girl behind the register was polite and made the coffees super-speed. She also seemed to get all the orders right the first time around, so props to this branch!

Seriously, this Dunks has the best service in the city. –The workers are smiling(even at 7:30a) –They also are really nice and polite –They even let me know that if I had the time to wait 4 extra minutes I could have a freshly brewed cup –100% accuracy rating in my experiences –The service is extrememly fast Definitely one of the best parts of the morning. Thanks!

While Boston suffers from a lack of fro-yo shops, Dunkin Donuts is everywhere, including the airport and the Boston Convention Center. You’re walking by their donuts constantly. I wandered into one across the street from Boston Common. It was a spacious location with muffins, bagels(many varieties), breakfast sandwiches, and wraps. And donuts. They had traditional doughnuts but also different ones like butternut(which I was told has caramel and is very dry according to an employee) and pumpkin. Donuts are 95 cents. They had pumpkin muffins, pumpkin lattes and pumpkin donuts. * Pumpkin donut: I like how the glaze was light, not sticky and very thin. The inside was unnaturally bright orange. It was tasty. Tender, like a spice cake, sweet. * Coffee: Scalding, extra, extra hot. It’s no Peet’s but it’s good enough with donuts. The shop didn’t have a strong doughnut smell and you’ll probably never run into a warm donut at DD(who knows where the donuts are actually fried). At this location, customers can only sit for 20 minutes. The place was busy, with a constant flow of people coming in for donuts.

Oh my god! You guys! I just discovered this AWESOME place! It is a little hole-in-the-wall coffee-shop called Dunkin Donuts. Maybe you have heard of it? They are pretty tough to find in Boston, so I wouldn’t be surprised if you hadn’t. Yes, Dunkin, you evil mistress, you’ve made a convert out of me. I didn’t even DRINK coffee before I moved to Boston. I used to rely on Diet Coke in the morning.(Gross, I know.) Regular coffee always just tasted bitter and nasty and unpleasant. But that was before Dunkin’s French Vanilla waltzed into my life. After many months of experimenting with«how I take my coffee» I’ve finally decided that my personalized concoction is iced, with a splash of cream and 2 Splendas. I have to give localized props to this particular DD, located(technically) on the Emerson campus at the corner of Boylston and Tremont. Even though the lines can be pretty long before noon, the staff is always friendly, fast, and super-efficient. I’ve never waited in line for more than 10 minutes, even when the queue is snaking out the door. The only downside to this shop is that though they are open later than most DDs, by early evening they are out of stock on lots of pastry items.(Even simple stuff like glazed donuts.) Sometimes it makes me vewy vewy sad to see such barren display cases before my 6pm classes. But other than that, curse you, Dunkin. My blood-sugar will never be the same.

I didn’t get the Dunkin Donuts thing when I first moved here, but yes I’ve drank the kool-aid after 9 months on the east coast. …and this is my favorite, favorite, favorite Dunkin’s. It’s open late so I can seek a sugar rush in between classes and no one judges when I slop an enormous amount of cream cheese on my toasted cinnamon raisin bagel so I can start properly nom’ing before I go back to class. And the employees are awesome. They’re super friendly and never give any attitude, which is a nice break from Starbucks across the street. Oh yeah, I pretty much have crushes on all of them.

Note, if you are from the Midwest and you ask for a regular coffee, you will receive a coffee with a ton of milk and sugar. How is this regular? That’s called a super sweet latte, Bostonians! I don’t know if this just a Dunkin thing in particular, but it took me forever to figure out why they kept NOT giving me black coffee. Some nice dude in line behind me finally told me. Thanks, stranger! Now, no more Dunkin for me because I can’t drink anything there but tea(they have bad tea, by the way) and they don’t have any gluten-free eats. I still always loved their coffee when I could drink it. Kudos. Also, nice prices for the everyman!
