SKETTTTCHYPLACE. I mean– most CVS’s are but this exceeds. They have most of their stock locked up bc ppl come in and apparently steal everything. They need to clean up the store and stop letting ppl — sketch characters– hang around the door.

Walked from the nearby Hampton Crosstown Center and back with a case of waters, and the worst part was certainly the unsavory characters in both directions, but the staff was helpful enough(inexplicable why people refused to use the 3 registers with people and instead chose to wait on long lines for self-checkout only to run into inevitable issues).

Way back in the day, I lived down here when I went to NU. Seriously, it was like 100 years ago and«SOWA» wasn’t even a term then and it wasn’t fashionable to live down here… it was just cheap. And scary. Anyhow… Following surgery at BMC(in the Menino Pavilion, RIP Mayor Menino), I stopped in to get two prescriptions refilled. Yes, you are likely to stopped by someone in the parking lot looking for change, but hey, there is a PARKINGLOT and it is FREE. Big CVS, chances are you will find most of the things you need and the ladies in the pharmacy were nice. Tip: check the expiration dates on the«fresh food» items up front since the food wasn’t so fresh.

I wont be walking here anytime soon in the night. It seems like CVS forced this location.(maybe its for the people of BUMC to conveniently pick up their drugs) The area around here is kinda dirty and shady although its next to Boston University’s Medical Campus. When I went here during the day to check it out I was barraged by random people asking for spare change.(I didnt have my wallet since I was going to the gym but they probably didnt believe me since I was walking into the store) That could have explained the muttering under their breaths when I told them I had no money. The place has a random selection of… well pretty much crap. Could be useful if you need something on the spot but youre better off trying to go somewhere else since they probably wont have the thing youre looking for. Their inventory is out dated and it looks like you could pick a lot of stuff out of there from a 99 cent store without having to pay 5 – 10 times as much. At least it wont be hard to find parking! since no one even comes here…

Last week in the 20 minutes it took to refill my PREPACKAGED prescription while there was literally no one else at the pharmacy i watched a customer get accused of shoplifting(which she totally was) and subsequently start an explosive verbal attack on the employee, the manager, a random guy in the aisle next to her, cvs in general, etc etc etc. I just want my pills, people, I don’t need the drama. Also, this cvs overly-lit. Like a wal-mart, y’know? It’s like the surface of the sun in there. Somehow the shelves are lit up from underneath, too. Is that some anti-theft option? Like people won’t steal when it’s REALLY easy to see their every move?

This CVS is in the old liquor land space. A very welcome addition to the neighborhood! This is very very clean and organized. The store has all the departments you need(HBA, groceries, a huge pharmacy, etc…) and they have a huge photo shop
