I booked a sunset cruise for my husband and myself to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary and my birthday! Captain Don and Ashley were wonderful to sail with! They were so friendly, and Don let my husband help raise the sails, which he enjoyed! We had such an amazing time and the views are one of a kind. We got to sit at the bow of the boat while we watched the sunset over beautiful Boston. I would recommend Come Sail Away for anyone looking for a fun adventure with beautiful scenery. You will not be disappointed.

We had a great afternoon sail with Come Sail Away Now for my sister’s bachelorette evening. Tupelo Honey is a beautiful boat, with comfortable sitting room for the 9 of us and some room to spare. The centrally located table was perfect for our snacks and drinks. The bachelorette herself got to raise the sail, which was fun. Captain Don had what seemed to be a new First Mate, Captain John, who needed a lot of direction, but overall both were extremely friendly and courteous. We would definitely do this again.

Our annual trip on the Tupelo Honey has become a much beloved summer tradition for my friends and I. The public harbor sail is a great length and the crew is friendly — Captain Don is always willing to teach you a little more about the (gorgeous) boat or to let you sit back and dangle your feet in the water.
Pro-​tip: it’s BYOB (and snacks)!

I surprised my boyfriend for his 30^th birthday party on the Tupelo Honey! He was surprised and everyone had so much fun! There were 9 of us all together. I was worried about the weather, but it ended up being a perfect night. I would recommend Come Sail Away for anyone looking for something fun and different to do!

We came from different parts of the country for a bachelorette party and we had an amazing time! We got upgraded to a sailboat and Captain Don was truly fantastic!!! #bottomsup

We really enjoyed our experience with Captain Don on our Sunday afternoon sail. We were able to bring our 8 year old along as well. They answered any questions we had about sailing with enthusiasm. We were also able to bring our own wine and food to snack on. They even allowed us to walk up to the bow and hang out.

Can’t say enough about how great Capt. Don and first mate Ann are. They go out of their way to ensure everyone has a good time. Highly recommended…

We celebrated my dad’s 70^th birthday on the Tupelo Honey. The crew was knowledgeable, warm, and friendly, and extremely responsive during the booking process. We had a gorgeous afternoon and learned about sailing. I highly recommended CSAN!

For my girlfriend’s birthday I booked a private «voyage» with CSAN for us and our friends. Captain Don and crew were very accommodating and friendly from the moment I contacted them about booking to stepping off at the dock at the conclusion of our two hour tour. The boat comfortably sat all 12 of us along with all the beer and wine we could carry (a pretty great perk that comes with the private tour if you ask me).
After boarding we quickly headed out on the bay. Soon after the sails were raised, and with the engine finally cut it was unreal. It was so quiet that you could hear every splash of water, the creaking hull and far away sounds of the city. I loved every minute of it. Plus, once we set sail they allowed us to sit on the bow of the ship two at a time, which I didn’t expect and really made the trip unforgettable.
At the conclusion of the tour everyone was very happy and a little tipsy. Looking back, I hope we weren’t too rowdy, but it was hard not to have a great time. If they’ll have us again we’ll definitely be back for more!

I went out on the Tupelo Honey last week and had a great time! The captain and his sailing partner were really friendly and put us at ease. They were flexible with timing and the trip we took down the Boston waterfront. They even sailed us back around so we could see the sun set over the Boston skyline. I would definitely recommend Come Sail Away Now if you are looking for something unique for a special occasion or just to have a good time!

This is a harbor tour on a sailboat. The summer of 2009 was their first year in business and they don’t sail in the wintertime. The sail boat, called the Tupelo Honey, can carry up to 12 people.
I’d lived in Boston for several years but had never been on a sail boat there. I had previously been on boat cruises around the harbor. We were back in town for a visit and I saw an advertisement for this harbor tour. I absolutely love sailing and wanted to try it out.
I called a day before we hoped to go on a sail and asked if they had any times available. Generally, the cost is about $ 25/​person. But because we didn’t have a large group, only two of us wanted to go, there was a minimum price to take the sailboat out. That was $ 140.00, which was fine with us.
We had an absolutely fantastic time! The captain and other crew member were very hospitable, friendly and really easy-​going. They asked us if we wanted to stay near the buildings to see the scenery or to go further out into the harbor and let us make the decision. I would definitely do this again and it was well worth the money. It couldn’t have been better.
Call at least a day in advance to make sure that they have room to take you out for a sail. Their website says that you can take a T-​Boat (affiliated with the MBTA subway, the T) to a nearby pier and walk.
