This place is conveniently located in a building where there are lots of consulates so they get plenty of passport photo customers. Terrible photos, cut out of the background where your hair looks choppy and part of it is gone. If you can, plan ahead and get your picture made somewhere else where the workers are friendly and care about the work they do.

Color copy center took our idea and transformed it into an impactful tool for our business from design to production. Jesse did a great job turning around multiple drafts until we had our project perfected, and the team was swift in executing the project. Would recommend highly!

I’ve gone to Color Copy Center for multiple jobs and every time I walk away happy. They are able to do small personal print jobs to massive orders quickly and more important, accurately. The shop has a «mom and pop shop» feel especially being located in the charming Park Square Building. The staff is welcoming, extremely helpful, and willing to go out of their way to make sure the abstract print job idea that you have in your head is turned into a tangible reality. Terrible. I had a rush job and sent over files for proofs. Didn’t hear from them. At all. My entire project had to be scrapped because I couldn’t get approval in time. The staff seemed pretty friendly, and I’m sure they do good work. Just don’t come here if you have any jobs that are time-​sensitive. You’ll have to hound them for the status of anything.

Great customer service, fast turnaround on the job, and high quality result. I needed last minute help with copies for an important client meeting. I was coming in from out of town and didn’t know who to call. Now I know who to call — Color Copy Center.

I’m a small business owner and have been using Color Copy Center for about 18 months. Their finished product has been flawless and they’ve consistently provided me with first class services despite me being one of their smaller clients. Specifically, they’ve made a number of suggestions that tie their printing expertise with their knowledge of my business and branding to make my marketing materials the best they can be. I’ve tried different online printing solutions but nothing has come close to the quality and service I consistently experience here. Jon and team are simply the best!

I’d give these guys zero stars if it was possible. I had a pretty simple project involving 3 oversized prints. After getting passed along by two disinterested members of the staff I was finally passed along to Johnny. He downloaded my files and we discussed the prints. «Come back tomorrow», he told me «your prints will be ready tomorrow». No one bothered to even take my name or number.
When tomorrow came I was greeted by a young woman with an «I-don’t-care-about-this-job-or-you» attitude that was rivaled only by her dazzling intellect. Her inability to remember Map, Ocean Wave, and Birth Announcement (despite me telling her 4 times) was nothing short of remarkable.
When she finally got Johnny on the phone I was quickly asked «are you available for pick up tomorrow?»
No. I am not. I will not be going back tomorrow nor will the advertising agency I work for be sending them any more business.

I went to Color Copy Center to get a passport photo for an Australian visa. At first, they were pretty friendly and seemed to know what they were doing. The actual photo shoot was completed very fast. It did however take the person working on it a long time (probably 10 – 15 minutes) to successfully transfer the picture to the computer, center it and optimize it further.
I then duly paid my $ 20 fee, which is generally a reasonable cost for a non-​standard passport photo size.
After another 5 minutes of trying to get the printer to work the person returned with my photos in an envelope. However, there were 6 photos on a sheet — ie, the photo paper had not been cut. When I asked for a single copy of my photo, as I only needed 1 for the visa consulate, I was told they didn’t have a «cutting machine» and that the visa consulate would cut it for me!
Now, I have applied for many visas in my life, and never before have I had the audacity to submit uncut photos to the visa consulate. I refused to take the photos unless they were cut. The person helping me said she couldn’t do it as she didn’t have «steady hands».
I told her and another person who appeared to be the manager that it was unacceptable that they claimed to be able to do passport photos if they couldn’t cut the photos and give me 1 photo, rather than spitting out 6 on a sheet! The manager then said something to the effect of «are you seriously not going to take these photos?» and I stuck to my stance of needing just a single photo. He then took the pictures to the back of the store and attempted to cut it with a scissors (by the looks of it).
Ultimately, I got 2 of the pictures cut, but it wasn’t exactly straight. I could see a bit of crookedness but didn’t want to waste my time any further.
All in all, while they appeared friendly at first I would not go back there. Not having a cutting machine is amateur hour. I have used passport photo services in NYC before and they get the job done in minutes. This was 20 minutes of frustration.

You will not find a more efficient, honest, and productive small business owner. Jon and his staff are the best in the business. He can handle literally any printing job… small or large. They do it fast and with no mistakes. Do you have a deadline you’re afraid of missing… call these guys! You won’t be disappointed!

Just stopped in at Color Copy Center Boston for some last minute help for our event. Not only did they stay open late to help us but it was easier than any print shop I’ve used. Forget the big chains and for the frustrating business center at the hotel, go see John at the Color Copy Center Boston! (Thank you, John!)

I went to Color Copy Center when I needed about 500 pages of copies with binding. The cost ended up being about 30% less than the quote I got from FedEx/Kinko’s. Make sure you go to their website, where you can print a coupon for 15% off your first copy/​print order. They also do passport photos.
There was a bit of a wait when I came in since there were only two people working, but the employees were friendly and got the job done correctly. I’d return here for future copy jobs in the future.

Love these guys! Skip the horrible corporate know nothing chains. BCC is very reasonable and they go out of their way to be accommodating! We had a rush banner to do and they excelled and didn’t rape us. Very happy!

There are times in life when we need something done expediently and well. As a business owner, I cannot recommend this place enough. Their costumer service was first rate; they were able to get my printing done the same day and were very helpful in laying out the pamphlets just right.
If you need a print job done go to color copy center, they know what they are doing and won’t make you feel like an idiot as other copy places do.

These guys do a great job. Their prices are better than most in the area. While they are a copy /​paper services places it’s worth noting that they also do passport photos.
I came by a month or so ago for new passport pics as my current one had of course long since expired. Now while I’m an American and pretty much every place that does passport photos knows the standard size for ours these guys can do proper passport pictures for any country and they cost about the same price as anywhere else.
So just to sum it up:

Jon (the owner) is a godsend.
The prices at Color Copy Center are half (literally half) what FedEx Kinko’s charges, they have ridiculously fast turn around (I’ve had mounted posters finished the same day!), and the customer service is phenomenal!
They handle the majority of the jobs in-​house and the people who work there actually care, have you tried to get decent customer service from one of those chain shops? not going to happen.
I’ve had CCC Boston print booklets, stickers, posters, mounted posters, infographics, business cards, lanyards, postcards, and flyers and I’ve never had a bad experience.

Jon and the team run a great shop! Friendly service, convenient location, quick turnaround and quality results at a competitive rate. When I needed a promotional mailing in clients’ hands by the end of the week, they helped me get postcards printed in a day, and offered advice on improving the card stock and options with recycled content.

I had a great experience here. I needed something printed overnight for a last minute work presentation. I was in touch late in the afternoon the day before I needed it. They were able to get what I needed printed. He even said he could have it there the same day! (Though I didn’t need it, so the next morning was fine). Free delivery came early the next day and the brochures were great, just what I needed. I will definitley use them again.

I have used Color Copy Center for all of my printing needs and believe they are the BEST copier in all of Boston. They have done my business cards, holidays cards, promotional/​marketing materials and very high end, high res professional quality photo enlargement — it all turns out perfect and the turn around time is second to none. Kinkos, CopyCop, FedEx, etc all offer inferior pricing, quality, turn around and customer service, it’s as simple as that.

Love these guys! I’ve used Color Copy Center Boston for my Business cards for the past couple years and could not be happier! They walked me through the design and printing process and helped me upgrade to a very nice quality card that looks extremely professional. Worth every penny.
Oh and the owner hand delivers my cards to me (in the financial district) each time as an extra bonus. I’ve been unreasonable about timelines at least one of the times I realized I was out and had my cards the next day. Thanks!
