Established in 1966.

Catuogno Court Reporting was founded by Raymond F. Catuogno, Sr. in Springfield, MA. The court reporting arm of the company now covers all of MA and RI. StenTel was founded by Ray and his son George in 1990 and is now one of the largest transcription providers in the United States, serving major hospitals, health systems, insurance carriers, law firms and over 100 law enforcement agencies across the country.

The combined company provides highly secure management of data and documentation and has maintained HIPAA compliant operations as well as 201 CMR 17 Compliance since the inception of these Privacy and Confidentiality rules. The company also undergoes strict annual audits to to maintain its SysTrust certification as a compliant service organization.

Business Owner

Raymond F. Catuogno, Sr. USN (RET) is a graduate of the US Naval War College and a Vietnam Era Veteran. He was trained by the Navy as a court reporter and established his own reporting business in Springfield in 1966. He is a long-​standing member of the National Court Reporters Association, the Massachusetts Court Reporters Association and several other organizations. The reporting agency has been a long-​time sponsor and supporter of legal associations in MA and RI, including the MA Bar Association and the RI Bar Association, MATA and the MDLA.
