If you have no taste buds and a lack of appreciation for good food, then this is the place for you! I ordered plain Lo Mein without any veggies or meat(because seeing other Unilocal reviews, the meat kinda looks like it has been in their fridge since 1923). Food was pretty damn bad. Being the cheap fuck that I am, I put it in the fridge thinking I could give it another try the next day, but it sat there for a good week because I was too scared to even touch it let alone eat it.

Food arrived quickly and was good. Happy with everything I ordered.

The best divey Chinese take-out place for miles around. The menu is gigantic, the mixed vegetables are quite flavorful and the white rice is perfect. And the meat is surprisingly great too. Unfortunately a lot of the food is overly oily, so it’s not health food. But if you can handle that MSG high, then this is definitely a place to frequent.

Great place is this if the type of food you want! The special combination platters give you the best of anything you could be craving! I also go chicken and broccoli with a .95 cent up charge for beef lo mien instead of fried rice! You also get a choice of an appetizer(always go egg roll) all for around $ 10! They are always busy so I like to order ahead and walk the 10 – 15 minutes to get there and its always ready by the time I arrive

This place has been in Mission Hill/Brigham Circle for over 40 years and there’s a reason for it; it’s some of the best Americanized Chinese food around and a great value. Not sure why there’re so many negative reviews on this place, it’s literally just a hole-in-the-wall take-out place, it’s not trying to be upscale, gourmet or authentic Chinese cuisine. They have a few tables, but most if not all of their business is take-out/delivery. It’s a bit on the dirty side at times but it fits into«Greasy Spoon Alley» just fine. The boneless spare ribs and chicken teriyaki is some of the best I’ve ever had and the prices can’t be beat for the amount of food that you get. After eating here almost weekly for 3+ years, I have NEVER gotten sick from their food.

I love their salt & pepper shrimps. So does my boyfriend who lives in Houston. Its customary for us to have it everytime he visits.

The city of Boston boasts a wide array of delicious, on-time mid-range Chinese establishments. Rest assured, Brigham Circle is NOT one of those places. They are low class and feature poor service complimented by even worse food. Best advice I could give anyone that is remotely interested in ordering from here is to order from Victoria’s Seafood on Comm Ave. Friendly people, fantastic food and always a hint of the homeland. Don’t sell yourself short. You’re better than that.

Incredibly disappointing experience. Don’t bother ordering delivery or expect anything closely bearing the resemblance of reasonable customer service. Our food was delivered over one hour and forty-five minutes late. Not only was it cold, but our concerned phone calls were merely met with a limp«your food is on its way.» Food quality was not above average. You’re better off spending your money and your time at a much more considerate establishment.

Food that leaves you feeling sick. Oh, by the way, I found a freaking nail clipping in my food!!! Safe to say I’ll never be back. If I could give it 0 stars I would!

Decent food. Rude, condescending people at the counter who don’t allow your foot to cross the threshold before asking what can I get you. And not in a good way but in an annoying, hurrying way. The short girl with the short hair is particularly crass, unprofessional and classless.

Honestly shocked by the low rating. This place has cheap, huge, and honestly pretty delicious(americanized) chinese food. And they deliver. What’s not to like?

I ordered from this place on foodler for delivery. After an hour I called to ask where my food is. Guy said they don’t take credit cards even though I was charged 33 bucks. Then he told me nothing I can do to help you bye — click. Awesome service.

Worst Chinese food for a fast food place. It is a good portion of food for the price you pay but the taste is bad. I would rather eat panda express.

Location, A+. Food, B-. Service, A-. Quality, B-. Great little place in the neighborhood if you’re not up for going to Chinatown. Portions are huge, however. We’ve ordered several dishes, both dine in and take out. Both are prepared well, delivered hot.

Open daily 11am-11pm. Ordered delivery one late night shift at the hospital. Ordered a combination platter of General Baby Shrimp & Pork Fried Rice with 4 Crab Rangoon. It’s standard Chinese food that you would get at a mall but a non-brand name one. Aka Panda Express is waaaay better than this place. Tons of food. It could be two meals. It definitely made me sluggish during the night shift.

I am so surprised about all the bad reviews. I mean I understand that I must have exceptionally low standards in my taste of chinese food, because I love this place! Yes the owner can be snappy on the phone but they always deliver lots of food, super quick, for super cheap! I do not even think he is rude on purpose, there clearly is a language barrier and they are always yelling(when talking amonst themselves) anyways. Not something we all do not already know! Anyways love the ham fried rice and boneless spareribs. Chicken fingers are also. Yes its greasy, yes it makes you feel like a pig after you eat it, you might even feel nauseated, but thats kind of what you are looking for when you order from places like this. It is what it is, and for what it is, it’s pretty damn good!

Tiny hole-in-the-wall Chinese takeout food. The kind that, sometimes, you just have the biggest ever craving for, and nothing else will satisfy you. If you’re from New York, you’re used to seeing these all over the place, but elsewhere they’re surprisingly rare. It’s not fine dining, but that’s not why you’re here. You want a deliciously unhealthy meal and you want it fast. Truth be told, they’re hit-and-miss with quality, but that’s the risk you take. Ridiculously cheap lunch specials and convenient to the Longwood Medical Area. As I work in public health, I feel kind of guilty for promoting really oily and salty food, but, hey, I atone for it. The neon pinkish sweet and sour sauce leaked all over my desk back in my office and made it looks like I’d slaughtered a My Little Pony. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

So surprised by the low rating! When I lived in Mission last year this place was my addiction. By far my favorite chinese place in Boston! I was actually sad I only just discovered it last year! lol. The staff there are so friendly and they give large potions for great prices. For $ 7.50 you can get a combo platter that has the takeout box STUFFED. Rarely could I finish an order in one sitting, it easily would be my lunch and dinner for the day. I LOVE the pork lo mein, boneless bbq spareribs, and chicken fingers. The pork fried rice, chicken wings, egg rolls, and crab rangoon are good too. The sesame chicken was just ok to me, had a weird(but not gross) tang to it at the end, maybe too much soy sauce? Idk. Need to be more adventurous and try some other items but I’m petty boring when it comes to chinese food lol. Tend to get the same tried and true items every time. Anyways, the only reason giving 4 stars instead if 5 is bc they close at 10pm which is soo early to me. And they charge a $ 2 delivery fee, even more annoying, especially since now I live in the South End.

Dang, fellow Unilocalers. Ya’ll had me scared to try the place! Lmao! Stopped in last night, prepared for mean and nasty people behind the counter and there were none! The older man was VERY nice to me, the«lady» was eating, so she didn’t get to help me. The cooks looked, but didn’t look angry, they just continued to converse with each other in their language. Ordered take out, it was NOT the best, but it was definitely PLENTIFUL, didn’t break my wallet, and was ready without an excessive wait. OK with me. So far. To be continued…
