Boston Web Guru (formerly known as DEESIGNS. Web Solutions) was established in 1999, at a time when the internet was in it’s infancy. For the past 11 years, it has been our mission to deliver top quality, dynamic websites to small businesses at affordable prices.

Business Owner

Danielle Shaw, founder and head designer, is a freelance Web Developer, Social Media Marketing specialist, and Joomla enthusiast. She got her start in Web Design during her college years beginning in 1996. Since then, she has continued to grow in the field and stay on the cutting-​edge of the latest technology.

For building websites her tools of choice are Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CS5 for creating layouts, then Dreamweaver CS5 to produce clean semantic XHTML and CSS. Her content management system of choice is Joomla and typically builds e-​commerce shops in Magento or osCommerce. Internet Business Promoter and Google Analytics software assist in developing strong Search Engine Optimization for every client.

Danielle has been contracted by Course Technology since 2001 as a Senior Technical Editor for web design and programming textbooks including: Photoshop, Flash, and Dreamweaver CS5 Comp., Web 2.0: Concepts and Applications, XML, DHTML, and HTML Comp.
