We have beautiful selection of cherry picked diamond in stock to pick from. If we don’t we specilize in trading non conflict diamonds we will source and filter it for you at the market price.

We can trade and upgrade your old and tired jewelry, and make something new that you would absolutely love and enjoy.

Established in 1990.

Platinum Studio is a boutique jewelry studio in the heart of Jewelers Building in Downtown Boston. We are in our third decade of doing business and have grown tremendously during a stretch of time when most have seen a decline in their business.

We operate our business by gaining your trust and offering you the best quality items at truly the lowest purchase prices. What further sets us apart is the fact that our roots are in the design and manufacturing of fine jewelry.

We are the only jewelry studio that has the capability to design and manufacture your desired ring in house. We also specialize in restoration of precious metal gold and platinum using the highest quality diamonds and gemstones from around the world.

My husband Zeki is an artist, an architect, and metallurgist. For last two decades he has manufactured jewelry for retailers and wholesalers using his one of the kind platinum as well as Gold work. I joined him in 2000, and challenged myself to embrace the opportunity! I changed my career path, earned a gemology degree, and opened a jewelry retail shop next to our work studio.

Zeki and I have over 70 years of combined experience from design to casting, from management to customer service. We have a happy husband and wife operation where we can offer home made jewelry from start to finish with confidence, high quality and exquisite taste.

We are devoted and passionate! Our focus is to cater to our customers and give the best service possible.”

Not going to lie. Buying an engagement ring is a scary experience. Zeki and Arvik made the process easily and painless for me. I had shopped around for a few weeks, even going to some of the big name retailers (Tiffany’s and Barkmakian), but I ended up coming back here because buying something like an engagement ring is highly personal, and I honestly felt/​feel that they completely understand this. I picked a setting and a stone, and they worked their magic. It was ready when promised and the ring is beautiful. I couldn’t be happier with the ring and the service I received. The prices are more than fair and the quality is outstanding. Do yourself a favor and stop by if you’re looking for a piece of jewelry, you won’t regret it!

I haven’t had a chance to give a proper review since I first came here months ago. It was hard for me to make the important decision of what kind of wedding band to get and it was not easy with my kids being so impatient. Zeki and Arvik were very helpful to me and my family. They were very sweet to my son and kept him distracted which was really appreciated. I’ve been sick so I have not been able to return to make my final decision and I was worried about taking so long, but they put me completely at ease. We have been really trying to stick to a budget with a growing family so it’s nice to know you’re getting great jewelry without being overcharged. You always want honest vendors that don’t pressure you when you are buying such important merchandise. You don’t want to feel like you made a mistake. They were also great at resizing my engagement ring. I want to say thanks to Platinum Studio by Z.

My husband and I couldn’t have had a better engagement and wedding ring shopping experience than with Zeki and Arvik! They are extremely kind and genuine and they provided a no pressure environment from the get go. We looked at a few other places in Boston for comparisons’ sake, but ultimately decided to go with Zeki and Arvik because they not only gave a more than fair price but also provided incomparable customer service! For the engagement ring, we brought in our own antique cut center stone along with a picture of a three stone setting that had hearts in the baskets. Although they don’t specialize in antique cut diamonds, Zeki was able to find a gorgeous matching pair for the two side stones. He also recommended that he hand make the ring rather than use a cast because it will fit the antique feel of the ring much better. You can just tell Zeki truly cares about his work and making sure he makes you the perfect ring! The turnaround time for the ring was exactly as they described and both Zeki and Arvik were super quick to respond to any emails regarding the progress. We were so happy with the craftsmanship and overall experience that we came back to them for both of our wedding bands. You absolutely cannot go wrong with getting your rings done by Zeki and Arvik! We have wholeheartedly recommended them to all of our family and friends and will definitely be back for any future jewelry needs.

I recently purchased the engagement ring I gave my fiancé at Platinum Studios by Z. Trust me when I tell you, If your looking for an engagement ring this is the place to go. Both owners greeted me once i enter their store and proceed to ask me about what I was looking for. After couple of my comment, they recommended a custom designed that it was breath taking. I was provided a huge selection of loose diamond and after matching the perfect diamond to the design of the ring, my search was finally over. After couple of week, the ring was finally ready for pick up and it was the most amazing ring i have ever seen. I proposed to my now fiancé about a 3 weeks ago and she love the ring, she gets compliments every where she goes and I highly recommend this business. I will not buy jewelry anywhere else but here, if there were 10 starts for this business, it would get 10 starts. I am heading to see Zekia and Arvik for my wedding band really soon.

Shine bright like a diamond! Omg diamonds are a girl’s best friend but oh boy, they were all so sparkling when I walked in so what to chose?
I was looking for a pair of beautiful earrings with some unique details and sure enough I was able to find them there. I thought I knew a lot about diamonds but when I started doing an online research I got even more confused about the randomized letters and numbers of the diamond industry.
Luckily I got referred to Boston Diamond Studio and I got to meet Zeki and Arvik. They answered every possible question I could think and then some. They were very patient and accessible through the process and I never felt pressured in any way to make a purchase but oh boy, I just couldn’t resist.
I left with the most beautiful chandelier diamond earrings and I can’t thank them enough. I get free lifetime cleaning for my beautiful earrings. I am so happy with my purchase and I will definitely buy diamonds from them again. I will recommend their store to everyone I know!

Zeki and Arvik made the hard decisions easy ones when I had to find a place to mount my loose diamond for my engagement ring. I was very nervous since it will be a surprise and not sure of the answer so need to step it up and get it right the first time! Did some research and asked around from friends and Zeki’s shop keep coming up so off i went and prayed for the best.
Arvik and Zeki was very helpful and professional. Despite what looks like a small shop, they still have the back when Zeki’s workshop is and does most of his on work. The front is just to display their wonderfully crafted pieces so I sat down and told them my situation. They both listened attentively and was able to understand what I wanted without me even realizing what I wanted. In the ended I left them the loose diamond in their trusting care and to come back after a week.
We kept in contact during the week and when I picked it up, it was perfect. As my fiancé described it, «simple and elegant with a lot of sparkle» and since I said fiancé that means she said «Yes»!
We had visited Zeki and Arvik a few times since to get the ring resized and get it appraised, every time was wonderful with them welcoming us like long time friends. We will probably see them again real soon for wedding band shopping.

I have no words to describe how happy I am with this place. it was referred to me by a friend. As soon as I walked through the door, I felt welcomed by Mr and Mrs. Ozcan. They took their time to carefully help me pick out a ring. I hadn’t known what type of ring my fiancée would want but they help me chose a beautiful ring. Days later, I found out that my girlfriend had a different or cut style in mind, one different from what I had chosen. I went back to change the ring but the ring was too beautiful and also with a little reassurance from both Mr and Mrs. Ozcan, I decided to stay with my first choice. Now for the most amazing part, my engagement was scheduled for new years’ day. I had given Mr. Ozcan my ring for a re-​size and the pick-​up was scheduled for new years’ eve. I was unaware that the store was closing early on New Years’ eve so I arrived late to the store and they were already closed. I called Mr. Ozcan panicking that night, asking if he can please come to the store tomorrow on new years’ day to give me the ring. Both he and his wife were so cordial and more than happy to leave their house to give me the ring on their day off. I got the ring and proposed that night and my fiancée is in love with the ring!!! I couldn’t be happier and I owe it all to Platinum Studio by Z. Thank you very much guys, you deserve more than 5 stars!!!

I met Zeki and Arvik when I came in to get my ring resized a few days after getting engaged. It was so much fun to meet the couple who had crafted my ring and so wonderful to see that they were just as excited to meet me as I was to meet them. They talked with passion about their craft and how much they care about their clients and all of the love stories that they have been able to be a part of. This, more than anything else, is what I loved about working with them. My engagement ring is absolutely gorgeous, but it is a symbol of something that is even more precious and it is evident that Zeki and Arvik understand that too. The jewelry they create is about the person, the story, and the relationship and that is something that is so rare in this industry.

The husband and wife that run this studio are awesome! I came here looking for an engagement ring for my girlfriend (now fiancé!), and I left with a huge smile on my face. As a guy, I was completely lost in a jewelry studio, especially looking at rings. Z and his wife were incredibly patient. They were very supportive when I changed my mind several times, and they answered all my ridiculous questions.
The custom ring is stunning, and my fiancée hasn’t stopped staring at it in the 3 weeks we’ve been engaged. When we needed it resized, it was ready in less than a day. Spending time at Z’s studio was a joy. The owners are very happy and kind people, who make you feel like lifelong friends of theirs. I was actually sad to leave. I’ll definitely be recommending Z to my friends, and we will certainly be returning here to get our wedding bands.

There is an absolutely gorgeous diamond on my finger and it came from Platinum Studio by Z. My fiancé had a great experience working with the owner who was always more than willing to help educate him on the different styles of diamonds and settings. The price was fair and when I went to get the ring resized he had it completed within a few hours. Customer Service is not lacking here, that’s for sure!

My (now) fiancé bought my engagement ring from here, and it is b-​e-​a-​u-​t-​i-​f-​u-​l! The owner and his wife are the nicest people, and want to make sure that you get exactly what you are looking for. The store is very simple, not too much jewelry laying around but they make everything custom — guaranteed to please!
I brought my ring to have it resized, and it was ready for pickup the same day. I was happy that my finger didn’t have to stay naked for too long.
After checking out all of the other jewelry places aroung, my fiancé decided on this place because of the quality of the product and the friendliness of the owners. I’m sure we will be coming back here for future needs.

The (potentially) daunting task of finding the perfect engagement ring was made an amazing experience by the kind and wonderful folks at Platinum Z.
Simply put, Avik and her husband are the best at what they do. Their knowledge and expertise, not to mention their kindness and enthusiasm for their craft, cannot be adequately measured with mere stars or a few kind words on Unilocal.But I shall endeavour.
I went to Platinum Z to find my girlfriend (now wife) an engagement ring. After spending the better part of a week perusing the countless jewellery stores that dot the city, and with all joy and happiness nearly sapped out of me from the ordeal, I happened upon this little gem tucked away on the second floor of the Jeweller’s Building. And I couldn’t be happier that I did.
Among their fine selection of items I found the perfect ring. (happily the girlfriend agreed!) The elegant artistry and detailed craftsmanship of their work utterly astounded me. But what really took me by surprise was how knowledgable, helpful, and kind Avik and her husband were. They took the time to ensure that both myself and my girlfriend were happy with our choice. We since went back there for our wedding bands and the experience was equally enjoyable. My only regret was that I did not find this place sooner. Needless to say, their product, customer service and all-​around kind nature have made us life-​long customers.

I cannot put into words how wonderful Platinum by Z is. Because of their generosity, excellence, and expertise, I will without a doubt remain a lifelong customer and friend.
My boyfriend and I had originally seen Erik back in December at Platinum. We got a .5 carat solitaire set in a classic Tiffany 6-​prong setting. It was absolutely stunning. After the relationship failed, I wanted to upgrade the diamond and make the ring my own again.
When I went back, I had the pleasure of working with Arvik and her husband. I was able to upgrade my diamond and keep my setting. They had my ring ready in just a few days. I was amazed and blown away at how beautiful the ring came out. I cannot stop looking at it. It is now .75 carats. I get so many compliments on it.
I would recommend Platinum by Z to anyone who is looking for quality and excellent customer service. They go above and beyond your expectations. Their diamonds are one of a kind. Go check them out. You won’t be disappointed!

To be honest, I kinda just wandered in the store as I was trying to kill some time. I ended up staying for probably 45 mins just checking out their jewelry and talking to the owners. They are so nice and helpful (even though they knew I wasn’t buying anything that day)! You can tell the way they talk about their work (the jewelry is all made in house), it’s more than a business to them, or even a career. This is Z’s art, and I’d challenge anyone to look at his rings and say he isn’t an artist!
I’ve never seen rings this beautiful before. As I was waiting and looking through the display case, I was mesmerized by them! They ended up pulling up pictures on the computer of past custom orders and in seeing these I’m convinced that you can get anything you can dream up made here. If you are looking for the perfect engagement ring for your partner, no question about it — it doesn’t get better than this!

I was helping my co worker to find an engagement ring and found this place. Had a great experience, got an awesome discount and his now fiancé absolutely loved the ring she got.
2nd time I went there to resize my ring and it turned out 3 times cheaper than places down the street! 3rd time I went there to upgrade my wedding band and got another awesome deal (photo attached). Love my new wedding band and the customer service I got from Zacki and his wife-​nice and honest, what else can you ask for?!

I am writing this review a little late, but better late than never. We had shopped around for men’s diamond rings for a few months looking at different designs and what we would actually like. We went to Boston to review some of the jewelry there and found this place!
We figured out what we would want and had to have it made. The team here was great to work with us and design our rings. The price they gave us was far better than any other price that we were quoted and the work was custom. Our rings were done with a quick turnaround. One of the rings had a diamon set slightly lower than the others which was only noticable in certain light (yes we examined it that close) but when it was raised to their attention they fixed the setting within just a few days. They were always so responsive and easy to work with.
We get compliments on our rings all the time! Most importantly though, they are exactly what we wanted.
