Food Safety Training and Consulting for the retail food trade. We work with single stores to chains, universities to day care centers, mobile vendor trucks to NFL Stadiums, a small catered event to the Democratic National Convention, we have done it all.

One of most popular service is our ServSafe managers Certification Classes. The classes are the best in the business thanks to our instructors who actually wrote the book on food safety! Each instructor is also an active inpsector that has CP-​FS credentials. Each class includes a nationally approved exam, such as ServSafe, at the end of each class.

History

Established in 1999.

Lisa, the founder of BFSC has earned her Masters degree in Public Health from Boston University. Ms. Berger later worked for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health as an Epidemiologist. She was in charge of 50 towns in the Boston Metropolitan area investigating communicable disease outbreaks which involved restaurants, daycare centers, prison facilities, public and private schools, hospitals, and medical offices.

With this important background she launched Berger Food Safety Consulting (BFSC Inc.) and has accumulated some very well know clients in the Boston Area. Gillette Stadium and New England Patriots, The Boston Bruins, The Boston Celtics and TD Bank north Garden, Smaller but well known places like Gril 23, The Four Seasons, Mistral, Hamersley’s Bistro, La Catina, Sorellina, Moo, Teatro as well as thousands of others who have enjoyed her training over the years.

In non-​outbreak settings, Ms. Berger conducted seminars outlining control measures for the prevention of such outbreaks at medical conferences, schools, hospitals, daycare centers, doctors offices, and neighborhood centers.
