Dr. Andrews is awesome. All the work he recommended were what I needed. The office is clean. The equipment appears to be up to date. The staff is efficient and responsive. The dental assistants are friendly and nice. Great practice!
Night guards are important. It affects teeth and jaw. I could not wear my old one — from another dental office — because it was so uncomfortable. I just got my new one and it sure fits better and feel a LOT better.
I think the Boston office share a cosmetic space. I don’t see anything wrong with that. It is cost effective to share office space. It is smart. Not even one staff had ever even mentioned any cosmetic dental work or cosmetic services to me.
I feel very fortunate to have found excellent dentist and dental office.

I really hate the dentist. It’s worse than any other doctor’s experience in my opinion. I have now gone in twice, and had as good an experience as I am going to have. The staff was very friendly and professional, the periodontist was a great communicator and sensitive to my pain level. They have been very clear about my treatment plan and what I need.
The only negatives are that they initially asked me to put down a deposit of $ 150 for my first appointment. I did not pay this money, but was still seen at my first appointment. I don’t know if there was some confusion as to whether or what type of dental insurance I had. Also, they have sent me reminders for my appointment on the wrong date. However, they were very responsive and corrected their mistakes when I emailed or called them.
Glad to be going to a friendly dentist’s office.

Contrary to what a commenter below mentioned, I am not a member of the staff posting a review; I’m sorry they had a bad experience. I’ve been to the Woburn office as I live in Reading and it’s nearby. Recently I got a new job in Boston and will be going to the Boston office in the coming week for a cleaning. I transitioned to Dr. Andrews due to the fact my other Dentist was in Concord, MA, and distance was a big deciding factor. In addition to the distance issue I did not like the fact I felt like I was a nameless face in a mill (my prior dentist was the only one there who cared enough to know her patient’s names and got to know them as people, not just patients… I digress). After seeing a dentist at the former practice who said my receding gum line on my lower jaw was due to «Aggressive brushing», which completely contradicted my own dentist who said I grind and needed a…$ 1,000 night guard (insurance doesn’t cover it) I was done. I found Dr. Andrews through research and called up for an initial visit/​consultation and 2^nd opinion.
Upon entering the office I was greeted pleasantly and filled out the nifty electronic new patient form– as a tech nerd I thoroughly enjoyed that. I was led into an examination room to a very comfy chair, and waited for Dr. Andrews. Once I met and conversed with him, I knew I was switching to this office. He explained in great detail that the signs of over aggressive brushing in regards to gum recession were different than mine. He noted my teeth were ground down on one side, looked at the way my jaw was set, looked in my mouth thoroughly and asked some more questions. Once completed he explained how grinding causes recession of the gums in great detail; this was a definite change from what I had come from. After setting up an appointment I was off on a treatment plan.
Zip ahead a year and I have a night guard (no more sore jaw!) that I got for far less than my last dentist, have had a cleaning, x-​rays done as well as fillings (he caught them very early and filled them without Novocaine (after leaving the decision of if I wanted it to me), it was 100% painless that’s how little they were), and am going for my second cleaning in the coming week. I am very happy with not only him, but Dona, his hygienist is awesome as is the rest of his staff. Five stars from a very happy patient, who is not affiliated in any way with the office other than being a patient.

I would not recommend Dr. Andrews or his practice. The location is nice and it’s very well decorated. In the end all I’ve gotten was teeth cleanings here, and they were fine. But I found other parts lacking.
First, it’s very focused on cosmetic dentistry, as opposed to practical. He repeatedly called my teeth yellow, to the point where it was just mean. I know he’s Russian so there’s maybe something getting lost in translation, and I’m sure my teeth probably are not sparkling white, but I just didn’t find anything tactful about it. He was obviously trying to sell teeth whitening services.
Second, he recommends night guards to literally everyone and I find his sales pitch to be really overbearing. Despite the fact that my insurance does not cover it, that you have to buy a new one every year, that no other dentist I’ve had before or since has recommended it, and that in all likelihood I would find the thing too uncomfortable to sleep in, he tries to sell, sell, sell.
Third, he told me I was not a candidate for invisalign, when, in fact, I was, and have gotten them since with a new dentist :)
Fourth, the reviews on his Unilocal page are suspicious — literally every one is 5 stars? Even the hidden ones? I’m guessing he or his staff wrote many of them.

By far the nicest dental office I’ve ever been to. The sleek style of the loft has a relaxing, spa-​like atmosphere, which is much welcome for (often anxiety inducing) dentist visits. I went to Dr. Andrews after my previous dentist royally screwed up several fillings several times (UGH). First he used white fillings that fell out, then he used silver (apparently not generally recommended, unbeknownst to me) which also fell out! It’s not like I’m eating rocks? Dr. Andrews was extremely thorough in checking the situation and fixing the problem. The difference between being treated here versus being treated at the other dentist office was astounding!
BONUS: The rooms have nice, big TVs with the news, ESPN, Netflix, hulu, etc. available to patients. I love Friends and put that on during my procedure for added comfort (on top of the memory foam chairs!). For someone with major sleep issues, the fact that I almost fell asleep during FILLINGS is crazy!
Have to give a shout to Dona, the hygienist. She was extremely accommodating when working with my schedule to get me in for somewhat of an emergency, and did a great job cleaning my pearly whites. Overall a great experience and highly recommended.

AMAZING! Wish I’d found this place a year ago. Dr. Andrews is very nice, as is the hygienist… State of the art equipment, and I appreciate how they explain everything about what they’re doing/​about your teeth along the way. My teeth look great, and I was X-Ray’d, picked, flossed and cleaned in under 45 minutes!

Dr. Andrews and his staff are absolutely amazing. I had been putting off two implants for 6 years using a flipper (false teeth). I started with Dr. Andrews back in October knowing I would have multiple procedures to complete the implant process including bone grafting.
Dr. Andrews explained everything so I could understand it, was very transparent on cost, and his team worked with my insurance company to get the best coverage possible minimizing my out of pocket expense. His office is a short walk from the financial district and they were very flexible in scheduling.
Even after my major work was completed, I am going to continue to go to Dr. Andrews for regular cleanings. Top notch service.

I had a very good experience here. Dr. Andrews extracted my molar and inserted an implant. I did a lot of research before choosing him, and actually met with two other people before settling on him. Out of the three of them, he impressed me the most with his knowledge and expertise, so I chose him to do the procedure. I’d had other work done on my teeth — crowns, root canals, etc. — but this was the most complicated thing so far and I was nervous about having it done right. Actually I was VERY nervous, because I’m afraid of dentists, but everything went smoothly. It is all over now and I’m very happy with the result.

I rarely write reviews for dentists or doctors but I wanted to share my great experience at Dentology with Dr. Andrews. I originally chose his office because it was very close to work, but I have found more than just an office in a convenient location. Not only does Dr. Andrews know his stuff about teeth but he was also able to explain how tooth care relates to a persons health holistically. He went above and beyond to answer my questions (never felt rushed) and explain things in a way that was easy to understand. I also appreciate his concern for patient health — I have researched amalgam fillings and their negative effects and supposed toxicity on the human body. Other dentists encouraged me to use amalgam, where as Dr. Andrews is a supporter of composite fillings that i choose to go with. I have already recommended him to my boyfriend and friends. A++

Dr. Andrews and his wife Ekaterina are amazing. I had been diagnosed with moderate mercury poisoning due to failing amalgam. I was skeptical that my previous dentist was up to the task. As this was already a health concern I needed to find a dentist I could trust and an expert in their field. I happened to be picking up my girlfriend from laser treatments when I met Ekaterina and Dr. Andrews. They were both keenly aware of the dangers of amalgam and the unique process for their safe removal. On top of their expertise, they are two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet – very helpful when you’re about to spend 25+ hours in a dentist chair. They explained every step of the process thoroughly, I never felt rushed and knew I was in good hands. They clearly love what they do. It has been a year now since I had several crowns, a tooth pulled and many fillings replaced. Dr. Andrews made a point of saving as much of the original tooth as possible which required absolute precision.
Recent X-​rays showed that everything is still 100% and my smile has never looked better. My health has noticeably improved as my mercury levels have dropped to safe levels. This was the best money i’ve ever spent and I am very grateful to the team at Dentology.

This place exceeded my expectations. On first impression, the space is beautiful (high ceilings, exposed brick), and reception is lovely offering coffee or tea while I filled out paperwork. Dr. Andrews was incredibly knowledgeable and honest about my teeth. I had whitening done as well, and they put my choice of movie on to help pass the time. They are a new office so I was worried about going there from lack of reviews, but I am recommending this place to others looking for a good dentist!
