Aline designed my then girlfriend now fiancé’s promise ring 8 years ago back when we were just in high school. I was completely clueless before I walked in!
Last year I knew to call Aline for my girlfriend’s birthday. I sent her a picture of diamond earrings I saw at a popular chain store, Aline doubled the size of the diamonds, topped the clarity and color, and halved the price!
This year I felt it was time to come in for an engagement ring. I brought my fiancé in to meet Aline. Aline greeted us and immediately prompted my fiancé to take her earrings off so she can get them cleaned for us while we were meeting with her. We picked the perfect setting and then we were educated on diamond clarity, color, cuts, and weights. Aline picked a line up of comparable diamonds slightly varying in size, color, and quality without telling us which was which and let me fiancé’s heart do the picking.
Since I have proposed, my fiancé has been over the moon. The quality of the setting and diamond are above par especially for the price!
With all the stresses of planning a wedding coming up, we know we won’t have to worry about who to get the bands from. We will definitely be visiting Adco Diamond! Aline has been there for every major step in our relationship. We intend to keep it that way for many years to come.
I will discourage all my friends and family from visiting the big box stores. You’re paying for just that; the name on the box! If you’re wanting a gem expert who will take time and consult with you, visit Adco Diamond. The chains just don’t give you the same level of service.

The Interactions that I had at (ADCO) were bold, but not aggressive or pushy. Aline is superb; she is a reputable dealer who is extremely friendly, kind, knowledgeable, accredited, and a graduate gemologist. I was on a tight budget and a really tight time constraint and she did everything she could to help me make my fiancée dream ring come true, within a short time frame. She ordered me an incredible custom made work of art, and the engagement ring was hands down the best price that I found between 8 stores from Massachusetts to NYC to CA including from a family friend gemologist who was willing to make the custom ring at (her) cost.
When my (soon to be) mother-​in-​law brought the ring in to get it resized, Aline was very kind and helpful and charged nothing for the resizing. I HIGHLY recommend ADCO for many reasons. I am Kelly’s fiancé and i went to the diamond district to not only look for an engagement ring but i also needed to learn about diamonds. The way I chose which stores to go to was completely based on Unilocal review and ADCO had great reviews so i checked them out. Aline took the time to teach me everything I needed to know about diamonds and in addition she gave me great advice on how to maximize my dollar to get the look I wanted. (FYI i went to 12 stores before purchasing) At first ADCO unfortunately could not find what I was looking for. But Aline continued to stay in contact with me and kept searching when other stores said they couldn’t find what I wanted (2.00+ct oval). In the end she did find it and gave me a really competitive price. In addition because I was surprising my fiancé with this I was not exactly sure what setting to get, Aline allowed me to pick one and use it for the proposal then we returned and Aline used the money I spent on the setting towards an upgrade to platinum. Without a doubt ADCO is a great company very straight forward no games and I would highly recommend checking them out. Spending a lot of money on an engagement ring can be stressful and it is important that you feel comfortable and without a doubt ADCO did just that.

My fiancé bought my engagement ring at ADCO. The detail in the ring is amazing! I start at it all the time. I couldn’t be happier. He even bought me a pair of beautifully set in diamond ruby’s. Stunning. We were so happy with the ring and earrings that we decided to purchase our wedding bands here too. Simply stunning. I had almost bought an engagement ring somewhere else and am so happy I decided to check out ADCO before I did. I bought the ring and stone from ADCO and surprised my now fiancé. She is thrilled with the ring and so am I. Some of what I appreciated about ADCO was that they were patient, knowledgeable, had a good selection, listened to what I wanted, where not pushy, and when asked, offered what I found to be invaluable advice.
Regarding some of the other comments I saw posted: Yah, I thought I had a good handle on the 4c’s until meeting Aline — she is very knowledgeable. And regarding cost, I didn’t see much of a difference, if any, compared to other places I looked.

So it’s been more than two years since I got engaged and 9 months since my husband and I got married.
When my husband started shopping for a ring for me he didn’t know where to start and went to Tiffany’s and De Beers. He fell in love with a ring at De Beers and was ready to make the purchase, until he talked to his cousin, to get her opinion, being that she’s got impeccable taste and knows where to get a deal. She recommended that he get in touch with Alene at ADCO, where her husband got her ring and where she buys all her diamonds galore.
So thru email (we live in So Cal, Alene in Boston), he sent Alene pictures of what he had in mind for my engagement ring. Over the phone she had a couple diamonds she thought would be good and explained the three C’s of each of these diamonds. From talking to her on the phone, my husband felt like she really knew what she was talking about and trusted her expertise.
She FedEx’ed some models to our house for him to see what styles she came up with. After finalizing everything she sent over the final product and my husband proposed with a more beautiful ring than the one we saw at De Beers (and a bigger stone thanks to Alene;)).
A couple of weeks after we got engaged we made a trip back to Boston for me to meet the family. We got to stop into Alene’s store to meet her. She’s really a great woman to know. She’s a confident business woman who definitely knows her stuff. We looked at wedding bans and she said she would have them ready for our wedding (in Aruba ;)). She had a good selection of different style rings. If you don’t see what you want she can definitely work with you and customize a ring for you. Before we left the store she cleaned my ring and said that anytime we’re in town that we come in for a free cleaning for my rings,
As far as price, i don’t know how much my rings ended up costing (i don’t want to know) but my husband said that Alene saved him a lot of money. He highly recommends going to her for all your diamond needs.
Ever since I got engaged and to this day still I get sooooo many compliments on my rings. The cut is classic and the diamonds sparkle like a disco ball. No matter where I am my ring catches light in a dim room.

Rina and Aline were wonderful to work with when I took my mother’s ring in to be reset. They were so patient and knowledgable while helping me to make a decision. I went to several jewelers when I was shopping around for someone to make my engagement ring. Adco was by far the best, their prices, their service and their professional behavior, not to mention their contemporary store, which I love!
After they made my engagement, I also had them make a wedding band that complemented the engagement ring and both are beautiful, I get lots of complements. I would highly recommend Adco.

ADCO Diamonds is the best and I will always work with them while I live in the Boston area. They care about their clients and about the diamonds they offer. The owners know what they are looking for in the diamonds that they offer and refuse to accept anything but quality diamonds to be sold in their shop.
I was referred to them for my engagement ring by my brother and after shopping other places ADCO was by far the best place to work with. On the first consultation I told her exactly what my dream ring would be and she worked to create it in my budget. I went with a main diamond in the middle, one on either side, and then smaller diamonds going down the sides of the band (She put up with me for years, so she deserved a little Bling).
The first visit I learned about inspecting diamonds and was able to pick out the main diamond for the ring. By the second time I came in she matched the cut, clarity, etc. of the other diamonds to the main one, so that they all sparkle the same (Great attention to detail). Once I approved all of the diamonds that was it. The ring was ready in a few weeks and I was on my way to proposing.
I thought this would be the most difficult experience in my life (I am a huge procrastinator), but it ended up being the most enjoyable experience I have ever had shopping. They appraised it for me and whenever my fiancée comes in they will inspect the ring for chips or loose diamonds and clean the ring for her.
When I spend that type of money, I want to know that it was worth it and that the people I work with care; check and check. I was so happy and my fiancée’s ring is so beautiful that people always stop her to ask about it. It sparkles in the day and at night and that is a testament to the beautiful diamonds that ADCO works with. I am going back soon to work on our wedding bands.

I purchased my engagement ring from Aline over a year ago. It was a fantastic experience. I did shop around however no other jeweler took the amount of time and attention to detail as ADCO. The prices were right in the same ball park as others, but the friendliness and knowledge of Aline and Rina really convinced me to go with ADCO. We could not be happier with the ring.

I agree completely about the customer service with the previous two reviews. I actually had a chance to go around 10 different stores and compare. Their friendliness and experience shows.
There is a flip side of course. They are definitely up there in terms of the price. About half of the stores I visited gave me a much lower price for the same kind of a diamond purchase.

Pretty much in the same boat as Dave. I bought an engagement ring and 2 wedding bands here and have no other experience buying this sort of jewelry. So without any experience in this sort of thing, I will say this place was everything I could have hoped for. They are all very friendly and extremely helpful. Tons of explanations. In fact, they wouldn’t let me look at anything without giving me background info on diamonds. I have no idea how the prices compare but they seem pretty reasonable after having done some research.
If you’re buying an engagement ring and have no idea what to do, I definitely suggest this place.

When I was engagement ring shopping, I almost made my purchase here. The service was excellent. I worked with Rina, and she patiently took the time to explain everything to me and made sure that I understood the differences between the types of diamonds and the different styles of settings. Their only drawback was their inability to turn around jewelery quickly, since they are a fairly small establishment. On the other hand, while I was there, the owner showed me a $ 60k ring that she was preparing for a customer and I thought «if someone is willing to spend $ 60k here, this must be a reputable store…»
