A Moving Affair

If you want your things moved by obvious drug addicts, then by all means, use this company. If you value your possessions, use someone else.

I used «A Moving Affair» to move 2 blocks from one apartment to another in the North End. I called Dan, the owner, July 4^th weekend before my August 31^st move out date to book a time. Dan and his crew are a finely tuned machine… they removed a full sized bed, couch, 2 dressers, bookshelf, and about 20 – 25 boxes in about 45 minutes and loaded it onto their truck. They moved me in just as quickly that same night. They even offered to set up my bed (put the mattress on the frame) where I wanted it! If you’re from the Boston area, you know that the ⁹⁄₁ moving weekend is a stressful one. Working with this company alleviated the moving weekend stress and I would highly recommend them.
After I moved in, I called Dan to assist me in moving a piece of heavy furniture up the stairs in my new place and he was at my apartment within an hour. So, if you need help with that, he is a great resource. Again, I highly recommend using this company, I have had positive experiences!!!

I used them once to move an appliance into my home. They were friendly, professional and reliable. I would (and will) use them again!

Moving day was easy and stress-​free thanks to A Moving Affair! I unexpectedly had to move out of my north end apartment and was dreading moving day! My roommates and I were frantically throwing things in boxes last minute and slightly unorganized. The guys from A Moving Affair arrived and took control of everything, making this process quick and easy! I originally hired them to move a few boxes, a dresser and bed, however when moving day came they were also faced with both of my roommate’s bedroom sets and our living room furniture. They were extremely accommodating to take on the extra work last minute and even took care of getting rid of the furniture we did not want.
Overall I couldn’t have asked for a better experience-​these guys were fun, friendly and professional! Also very reasonably priced! They were extremely helpful and did whatever was needed to get the job done efficiently. Definitely will be using them in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone needing movers!
